There are 4 exams plus a Final Exam –
- Connect 1 – is the grade on Chapter 1 Connect homework.
- Connect 2 – is the grade on Chapter 2 Connect homework, and so on.
- Connect Grade is the combined grade on all Connect homework (total points earned divided by total points possible).
- iClicker is a grade that is a combination of student participation and accuracy on questions asked in class
- Exam 1- covers Chapters 1-4, includes multiple choice and some problems that must be worked by hand (partial credit given for problems)
- Exam 2- covers Chapters 5-7, includes multiple choice and some problems that must be worked by hand (partial credit given for problems)
- Exam 3- covers Chapters 8 and 9, all problems that must be worked by hand (partial credit given for problems)
- Exam 4- covers Chapters 10-11, includes a few multiple choice, but mainly problems that must be worked by hand (partial credit given for problems)
- Final Exam- covers Chapters 1-11, 40 multiple choice with no partial credit.
