The purpose of the project proposal is to describe how to automate or improve the automation of a specific business process, and then to explain how completing the project will positively affect the business.

Once a project proposal is accepted, project work can begin; therefore, a successful project proposal must include all of the information necessary for stakeholders to make a “go/no-go” decision, including a statement of scope, a list of the benefits you expect the proposed project to provide, and a rough estimate of how long it will take and how much it will cost to complete the project.

For this assignment, you will create a 3- to 4-page project proposal for the business scenario you selected earlier this week and that was approved by your instructor. The project proposal must include the following items:

• A project definition and scope that defines the project and articulates the business context for the project
• The problems that the proposed system is expected to solve (or opportunities the proposed project is expected to produce)
• The project objectives
• The project methodology or “game plan”
• A high-level schedule for completing the project scope

Information Governance for E-Mail

We learned that e-mail is a major area of focus for information governance (IG) efforts, and has become the most common business software application and the backbone of business communications today. In addition, the authors provided details to support their position by providing 2013 survey results from 2,400 corporate e-mail users from a global perspective. The results indicated that two-thirds of the respondents stated that e-mail was their favorite form of business communication which surpassed not only social media but also telephone and in-person contact.

With this detail in mind, briefly state why the e-Mail has become a critical component for IG implementation? Support with references and do your usual critical review of at least 2 other students’ posts.

1. (a) What is the very first step when factoring a polynomial? Provide an example!
The first step you need to do is find the greatest common factor because it will make factoring polynomial much easier and the number of factors of each term will be lower after you have factor one or more of them out. Remember the greatest common factor includes a variable.

(b) Discuss how to factor by grouping and provide an example.
First you need decide if the four terms have anything in common which is the GCF, create small groups, factor out all GCF from each of two groups and in second you have the choice of factoring out positive or negative number, if the factors in parenthesis are the same than you can factor out what is inside but if you rearrange the four terms and don’t have a match then the problem does not factor. Then you will determine if the remaining factors can be factored any further.

(7x + 7x^3) + (x^4 + x^6)
7x + 7x^3 + x^4 + x^6 = 7x (1+x^2) + x^4 (1 + x^2)
