TWO

Refer to what you’ve viewed and read about logical fallacies and identify TWO examples of logical fallacies you’ve recently encountered.

In your responses –

      1. Begin each entry by naming the fallacy (for example, hasty generalization or bandwagon)
      2. Explain each fallacy (define each, using our resources).
      3. Provide an example of each fallacy from your own experience.
      4. Explain how each demonstrates the types of fallacy you’ve identified.

Use examples from your own life and from real sources from the news, Facebook, or Twitter, for example. It’s okay to research to get ideas if you’d like to, but then find examples that you’ve actually encountered in your own life. We hear fallacies all of the time. The idea is to start to listen for them in real life.
