I Am Looking To Teach My Partner How To Speak English He S Lived In The States F

i am looking to teach my partner how to speak english. He’s lived in the states for 25 years and still has yet to learn much of the english language at all. Where do i start? I think i just need some input from others with experience in teaching/tutoring, I am just a stay at home mom and i want to be able to help my partner learn how to read, write and speak english asap without making him feel like a child or stupid.any suggestions on this will help and be greatly appreciated.
