I Am Having A Hard Time Understanding The Concept Of Entropy And How It Can Be R

I am having a hard time understanding the concept of Entropy and how it can be related in both a statical and quantitive aspects of described value. We are asked to relate these two aspects by concepts but I am having a hard time doing so. Any advice?
