I am going to discuss obesity. This subject is personal to me. I know that those who at obese are treated differently. My father was a very large man. He was very hard working, kind and out going. However he was judged instantly on his size. He had a major car accident and while in the emergency room literally fighting for his life, he heard some of staff complaining about working on him because of his weight. I myself have certain health conditions that make it incredibly difficult to lose weight. I am not morbidly obese but I would say I am rocking the standard middle aged mom bod. There is definitely a difference of how I am treated now verses when I was much smaller. Not to mention how our current lifestyles make it even more challenging to lose weight as well.
