Hi class–let’s try this and see if we can agree. A card is selected at random from a standard deck. Find each probability

a) Randomly selecting a club or three

b)Randomly selecting a red suit or a king

I’ll try part a and please do the other parts as well: 

a.  P(club) + P(three) – P(club and three)

13/52 + 4/52 – 1/52 = 16/52 or 0.307 or 31%
