2 pages and a half paper

Part 1: This module proposes a variety of rather interesting modern statistics on women in the workplace. Among these statistics include the notion that women currently outnumber men in higher education, occupy nearly half of all management positions, and a quarter of CEO positions despite still being underrepresented in high-end roles in both industry, politics, and military.

  • In your own experiences and/or anticipated work setting, do you believe women are/will be equally-represented as well as men in terms of status, power, and position?
  • What are some steps that can be taken in order to maximize the impact that women have in the workplace? Be sure to use a combination of both your own experience, opinions and of course support from the course materials when addressing this prompt.

Part 2: The concept is self-efficacy is discussed as a core component of empowerment. Take the attached (and validated) measures for both self-efficacy as well as self-esteem. Do you believe these measures to be an accurate representation of yourself? Do you believe this information could be useful for leaders to possess? Regardless of your opinion, be sure to elaborate as to how and why you believe in your stance.

Notes:

  • For Part 2, refer to the attachment measure questionnaire
  • I would like to use the power point slides and book for referencing, external references are accepted too.
  • APT, Time New Roman, 12 points, and double-spaced
  • 2 – 2.5 pages without counting references (references should be in a separate page)

discussion criminal profiling

While many cases have evidence that provides clues to the offender, some cases leave investigators with no apparent information at all. In these situations, criminal profilers are often assigned to the investigation. In many cases, the developed profiles may help detect, apprehend, and convict the offenders. There also are situations where the profile of an offender might be off the mark. As a result, it is important to bear in mind that while criminal profiling might be useful in tracking down offenders before they commit another crime, profiling should not be viewed as being 100% accurate. Much of the success of profiling hinges on whether profilers accurately identify key characteristics of offenders, such as age, race, gender, and lifestyle. Missing the mark on these characteristics might lead investigations down the wrong path and ultimately allow offenders to inflict additional harm on society.

For this Discussion, search the internet for violent offenders, and choose two. Consider how criminal profiling might have been effective in earlier detection and apprehension of the violent offenders you selected. Next, consider specific factors that might be important to include in a criminal profile.

  • Describe the two violent offenders you selected.
  • Include a citation for at least one article, website, video, or another source for each violent offender you selected.
  • Explain how criminal profiling could have been effective in earlier detection and apprehension of each violent offender.
  • Describe at least three factors for each violent offender that might be important to include in a criminal profile and explain why for each.

its an research paper i have an example and also my previous work

Length: About 1,200-1,800 words (about 4-6 pages), not including Works Cited page.

Conferences: Wednesday, March 4

Peer Response Workshop: March 30-April 3 (online)

In your research proposal, you should have formulated a research question and made a plan for how you might look for evidence to answer that research question. You will now devote the following month to looking for that evidence, and you will use your research report to explain what you found to your audience.

For the purposes of this class, consider your audience to be me and your classmates. How can you design your research report to show that you have done your research, and that you know what you are talking about?

In general, the more research you do, the better your research report will be. So the earlier you get started in conducting your research, the easier it will be to sit down and actually write your report. (If you have trouble thinking of what to write for your research report, that’s usually a sign that you need to conduct more research.)

Attached is a sample research report from one of my graduate classes. Keep in mind that this sample is much longer than the research report you will be creating for this class. Also, keep in mind that the attached sample is an example of a research report within the discipline of English Studies (specifically, College Composition Pedagogy). The research reports that you write for other disciplines (including your own major), may look very different from this sample. Different disciplines have different goals, and so the research reports in those disciplines look different because they usually do different things.

Topics: LGBTQ Families and Mapping Kinship

Read: Frank Lowe Raised By Unicorns pp. 5 – 110

Author: Frank Lowe

Publisher: Cleis Press

1. Does how we define “family” matter? When we consider the stories of those in Lowe’s book, how does the socially accepted, government supported, legal definition of family matter? Consider how children are affected when both (all) parents are potentially not recognized. If one parent is not recognized legally, how would it matter in day-to-day life? Explain the idea of “the right to exist” and what it means for families. Give examples. Listen to the NPR story link and include information from this as well.

2. In thinking about families, consider your own. Do you see your own family experience in any of the stories that you have read so far? Discuss how your own family experiences mirror things that the children in any one or more of these stories discussed. Was it the experience of divorce? Of feeling outside of the “norm” and judged? Was it love of your parents and acceptance of self? Or something else? Make sure that in writing this essay that you also discuss the story or stories that you related to so that we can understand the link.

min 150 words

Greetings,

The First World War and the Second World War were similar in several ways by being the two most massive wars in history compared to the other wars that have taken place. They were based off of similar concepts such as nationalism, imperialism, alliances with other nations and countries, and militarism. Furthermore the concept of nationalism was the same between both wars because nations were trying to take over and control others due to being able to use their raw materials and resources for their own benefit. These wars were brought about by the unbalance of power in Europe and countries disobeying the government and laws and policies in order to gain more control. When upset of power takes place normally fighting and protests break out and due to that both wars had a high casualty rate. In both wars the military brought about different techniques of fighting that other nations were not prepared for economically or physically. On the other hand the ways in which these wars were different are the first war main motive was domination of land and resources, while as in the second war it was about ideologist and bringing about a communist society. The first war had conflict between the central powers and the allied powers, whileas the second war there was conflict between the axis powers and allied powers. The first war was fought by military tactics such as trenches, machine guns, tanks, gas and airplanes, whileas the second world war was fought by nuclear power and missiles and submarines. Overall the second world war was a further continuation of the first world war because the first one did not have the outcome that they wanted to have.
