Bach was a violin and harpsichord virtuoso. His main style was of polyphonic texture whereby, the chords progressions directed the music’s motion, which made him a master of the fugue. Bach’s music was very baroque, a term adapted as a connotation for extravagant, excess, and emotionally expressive music. Therefore, his music was full of emotion and featured a basso continuo. Bach composed a total 1128 works for voice, orchestra, organ, keyboard, chamber, and canon. Bach also composed works that were either fragmented, spurious doubtful, or lost. Sebastian Bach composed for the organ, the harpsichord, the clavichord, and the violin. He lived in Germany. Bach’s cooperation with royalty was fuelled by his devotion to write Christian music, as evidenced by his compositions in his time at the Lutheran church. There were no direct political motives to write what he did. Bach’s influence on the Classical era is not profound. Although the classical musicians adopted a new style of writing music, Mozart took interest in Sebastian Bach’s polyphonic tones in his Jupiter composition. Bach’s death in 1950 marked the end of the Baroque era and the beginning of the Classical period. Making him the most influential composer from the Baroque era to the Classical era. The Baroque period of music is a period that encouraged self-expression, formation of counterpoints, certain degrees of ornamentation and open forms. The period is known for its inconsistency. although the music in this era shares the same genre.

This seems a waste of precious time and money on unnecessary issues. especially since the money and time spent on the issue could well serve to help a lot of people in the third world to get access to clean water. Additionally, I have been recently caught up with the need to create awareness on safety especially on planes and ships in order to avoid accidents and unnecessary delays. Obedience to notices goes a long way to saving of time and humiliation.

Although the meaning of this term is rather indistinct, and the phenomena it is used to denote extremely varied, it does articulate a prevailing feeling in the 21st century that human life is greatly shaped by forces, which have extended across boundaries, and which, concisely due to their magnitude and supremacy, are transforming life on this globe. All spheres of the society are being redefined by this process. people find their existence threatened or individuality threw in to confusion. areas and entire regions are compelled to restructure themselves or diminish in the face of economic forces. and nations are experiencing gradually decreasing autonomy of action and closer ties to each other than any other time in the past (Scholte, 2000).

&nbsp. At the present, there is a serious incongruity between the reality that globalization is in full gear and the reality that the prevailing processes of global governance do not have the influence, ability, and capacity to regulate and direct this process towards helpful ends. Due to this, globalization is usually unsettling and unbalanced in its outcomes. It has also brought new challenges for the current public institutions while at the same instance weathering their independence and support. Globalization has also provided the paradoxical means for those it eliminates culturally or economically to categorize against its subordinating and homogenizing force (Ohmae, 1999).

&nbsp. In essence, there are numerous explanations of globalization, which though consistent in various ways do illustrate varying faces of the process.

I Will Pay For The Following Essay Competency To Stand Trial The Essay Is To Be

I will pay for the following essay Competency to Stand Trial. The essay is to be 4 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

With the rise of felony arrest rates reported everywhere, the rate at which competency tests are sort for has increased as well. This scholarly paper will present an overview of competency laws and look at the need to have experts carrying out competency tests for the judicial systems.

In the English common law, it was allowed lawfully for the arraignment, judgment, or execution of a person (capital offender) to be delayed (stayed) if the offender was or became completely insane (Hale, 1736, cited in Silten & Tulis, 1977, p. 1053). The law that is applied in the U.S was established during the case of Dusky v. United States in 1960. In the case of Dusky vs. the United States (1960), the Supreme Court ruled that it is not enough for the district judge to find that the defendant is oriented to time and place and has some recollection of events, but that the test must be whether he has sufficient present ability to consult with his lawyer with a reasonable degree of rational understanding — and whether he has a rational as well as factual understanding of the proceedings against him.”(Steadman & Hartstone, 1983 p.402).

The problem that is found in assessing and defining competency has led to a great number of interpretations of the Dusky case. Because the courts and legislatures have placed, the weight of doing this on mental health professional it is not a surprise that mental status issues have been played a major role in court proceedings. Research has shown that the presence of psychosis is not enough by itself to determine competency (Roesch & Golding, 1980).

The background on competence has been extensively researched with some researchers and scholars arguing that competence has to be considered within the circumstance that it is to be used. This has been written extensively in a journal written by Golding and Roesch in 1988 where they write. “Mere presence of severe disturbance (a

Her new novice’s veil seemed to have its own source of light and it radiated above her feet, catching the rays of the moon from the small, high window. This reminded Jessie of the momentous decision which had brought her here to begin a new life of prayer and seclusion. Thinking of the greatness of God and the exciting prospect of joining this community of nuns, Jessie eventually fell asleep.

There was a faint ringing in the distance, and Jessie dreamed of the convent garden, where she would pray with the other novices. The sun would shine and she would sing with the nuns, happy at last to be a part of their community. How sweet the bell sounded, and how glorious it was to have a calling to be a Carmelite nun! There would be endless days of sunshine and singing, and Jessie would look serene and contented in her distinctive habit and veil, happy at last to have found her true vocation.

A rough hand shook Jessie’s shoulder and she opened her eyes to see an older woman shaking her fist and looking very cross. In total silence the nun pulled Jessie from the bed and dragged her down the corridor to the washroom. In less than three minutes she was stripped of her nightgown and bundled into the uniform of the novitiate – a full-length brown habit and the white novice’s veil. “Wait, wait, I have to adjust my clothes” she cried, searching in vain for a mirror, but the nun placed one finger on Jessie’s lips and pushed her unceremoniously through the door.

The chapel was filled with nuns. Jessie slunk in to a pew at the back, and tried to look inconspicuous. An hour of silent prayer was followed by an hour of psalms and readings and then a formal Mass. The overriding sensation that Jessie felt was tiredness, although boredom and hunger also troubled her during these lengthy rituals. Everyone else seemed to know exactly what to do. When to sit, or to stand, and how to respond to the Divine Office.

At last, the nuns filed

Ministers are often highly regarded because of the perception that they always read the Word of God and therefore are always reminded of the right conducts of men. They are also expected to be very prayerful as compared to common people because it is their job to make themselves an example of holiness. Moreover, they are seen as representatives of a holy God and therefore should always keep themselves in check. Perhaps, what strengthens such perceptions even more are the examples of great men and women of the Bible which are expected to be the role models of ministers. With such outlook of people, choosing a minister for a character to be studied causes curiosity enough to get readers to think about their humanity as well. Black is often used to represent lethargy, death, evil and even the devil himself. The color of the veil has been deliberately chosen to symbolize something that is extremely uncomfortable especially for a minister. Since the black veil was used to cover his face, especially his eyes, he caused different opinions to be brought about. For some, they simply got curious and made fun about it while others seriously thought that there might be something really evil that the minister did which he tried to hide behind the veil. This was used by the author to express that the minister after all is still human and that he is just as vulnerable to sin as other people are. The figure of holiness was brought to the common people’s level in a subtle manner which is, figuratively. As the narration says, “His converts always regarded him with a dread peculiar to themselves, affirming, though but figuratively, that, before he brought them to celestial light, they had been with him behind the black veil”. Such indirect communication, whether the protagonist indeed meant the author’s assumption to be that way, keeps the minister maintain the people’s respect but his silence about the matter does not put it to rest. This keeps the other characters and of course the readers to keep on wondering what could have really been happening in the ministers’ heart and mind. In the story, it was revealed that the minister was in love with a woman named Elizabeth and the reason why he used the veil was because he constrained himself from loving her and avoided people to know about his secret feelings. In the Roman Catholic Church, a pioneer church in most countries, priests are not allowed to marry. Such constraint that the minister demanded from himself suggests that he belongs to the said church. Love is said to be a universal language and is felt by everyone. These qualities are used by the author to bring the readers to wonder if a respected person, known to only express brotherly love towards people, is not really able to have carnal desires toward the opposite sex. In the story, the author explains that ministers, no matter how holy they seem to be, are also human beings with strengths and weaknesses. They also feel hurt, angered and they fall in love, too. However, since they made a vow to remain single all their lives in order to serve God and his people with undivided attention. they have to deny themselves of their feelings. This is explained by the symbolism presented by the minister’s back veil.

I Will Pay For The Following Essay Consequences Of Immoral Behaviors The Essay I

I will pay for the following essay Consequences of Immoral Behaviors. The essay is to be 2 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

According to Donner (2007), American Psychological Association ethical principles of psychologists and code of conduct requires all information given to a psychologist in the cause of his or her professional work be kept in private. As a professional, a forensic psychologist should be able to protect information provided in a professional relationship. It is wrong for a psychologist to allow private information relayed to them to be disclosed to a legal system. A forensic psychologist would have to weigh their decision and consider whether this would harm the prisoner. The inmate gives much trust to the psychologist by admitting to him that he took the blame for his son’s assault to a 17 year old friend. Under no circumstances should the psychologist give this information to a third party. The plaintiff did not protest against the father’s decision to own up his son’s mistake. The process of decision-making is to a large extent based on ethics. A psychologist should be aware of ethics related concerns in a given situation. An informed decision can be arrived at only if there is a clear understanding of these concerns. The psychologist should be able to determine ethics based priorities. Self-honesty is fundamental for the purposes of decision-making. Priorities should be determined on the best interest of the inmate, professional code of ethics and the benefit to society. For example, in a case Tarasoff v. Regents of the University of California, the court held that the protection privileges ends where public peril begins (Buckner & Firestone, 2000). Period of deliberation also comes in hand when dealing with the question on ethics and confidentiality since they are not easily answered. A forensic psychologist should be able to make any ethical decision and take responsibility for that choice.

There may be consequences likely to occur as a result of the verdict taken. In this case, the person who committed

Hrothgar adopts a more reflective behavior for heroism due to his years of experience of dealing with all kinds of circumstances. Being fully aware of the virtues and hazards of power, Hrothgar teaches his people to remain down-to-earth because fate can deceit them anytime.

King Arthur is the King of Camelot. He naturally possesses the skill of humble leadership. The difference between Arthur and Hrothgar is that the former has natural-born leadership skills while for the latter, the fundamental source of leadership knowledge and skills is his experience. Arthur, unlike Hrothgar, doesn’t need to work upon his skills to polish them. In addition to that, Arthur is young while Hrothgar is old. Arthur and Hrothgar are both modest in their leadership as neither of the two ever shows off his worth as a king. Both have a down-to-earth attitude. I Will Pay For The Following Essay Confrontation With Patient Relative Hippa Reg

I will pay for the following essay Confrontation with patient’relative/ HIPPA regulation. The essay is to be 2 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

As a health care provider, I know that it is unethical to give patient information without asking first the consent of the patient and the Health Protection and Affordability Act (HIPAA) regulation was designed to allow Americans to take health insurance coverage when they changed jobs provided that medical information are kept confidential (Gross, 2007, 1). Thus, information are essentially withheld even from relatives if expressed consent is not obtained.

With the occurrence of event like this, I’ve come to analyze the HIPAA regulation system and found out that most of the health care practitioners, including me, misinterpreted the HIPAA regulation. Under the privacy rule of this act, a health care provider may disclose medical information directly related to patient care or corresponding payments to a family member, relatives, close personal friend, or any person identified by the patient without needing a consent form, provided that the patient does not object to the disclosure of information (Gross, 2007, 3). Thus, it has increased my knowledge and understanding that HIPAA regulation may allow sharing of information to family members or identified individuals without a signed consent.

Despite corrections of misconceptions regarding privacy rule of HIPAA regulation, some health care providers and clinicians still requires the use of a signed consent form in disclosing patient’s medical information in fear of possible litigation. As a health care provider, I think that it is better to implement disclosing of information standards strictly rather than regret the consequences of actions. I understand the fear of litigation. however, as members of the health care team, we are all health care advocates and change agents. We promote the common good of our patient by ensuring delivery of quality health care and satisfying health practitioner-patient relationship. This can be done by adapting
