Considering that the baby is in critical condition already and on the ventilator, my response would be to tell the mother that taking the baby off of its support systems would not be a good idea at this time.&nbsp. I would tell her that she might be able to hold the baby later, depending on what everybody decides.

In my opinion, to keep the baby safe at this point, it needs to be kept away from the mother. She has clearly only harmed the baby up until this point, and my decision is for the baby’s own health and safety. Furthermore, until social services make a decision, it is important to make sure the mother does not have a chance to do any further harm to her baby.

There are a few ethical principles in action in this case. First, there is the right of mothers to be able to spend time with their children. Generally, after a mother has given birth to a baby, she will be allowed to hold it, as long as it is seen as acceptable to the child’s state of health. In this case, though, the baby is not necessarily in a healthy condition, and the mother, herself, has caused the harm to the baby, so the best thing to do is to actually keep her away from the baby. Another ethical conflict is the fact that the mother did tell me and nobody else about her use of the drugs. Ultimately, as a nurse, I would be required to report this to social services or I could also be held liable, but it is certain that the mother did not know that and probably did not wish me to tell others. However, this kind of secret cannot be kept because it has to do with the child’s health.

I do not feel that this situation permits for utilitarianism. Utilitarianism means picking the outcome that causes the most happiness for all of those involved.&nbsp.

I will pay for the following essay American Family Culture. The essay is to be 3 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

There are a multitude of family forms and family types in America today and family is a social unit in a constant state of evolution. We will explore the different family configurations found in the United States today and will pepper our analysis with comparisons of American family forms to modern Mexican families, the other half of our analysis.

The ‘traditional’ American family is a heterosexual, nuclear family headed by two parents in which the husband is the primary breadwinner and the wife is the homemaker. On the far left side of the continuum of change, the traditional nuclear family model is widespread across the globe and represents a traditional gendered division of labour, both within the house as well as outside of the home. Mexico families generally also meet the requirements for what can be described as a traditional family which traditional gender expectations and values. In the Western world, the traditional model is becoming less and less viable as many families require the incomes of both parents. Women’s increased education and employment prospects have made the transition from the traditional model to the modern familial model more and more prevalent in modern Western society (Bossen 128-133. Roopnarine & Gielen 32-34).

As with the traditional family, the ‘modern American family’ is nuclear in the sense that it involves the cohabitation of two heterosexual partners but differs in that it involves dual earners as both the man and the woman work outside of the home to earn money. While both husband and wife work outside of the home in paid labor, it is important to note that the gendered division of labour within the home of the modern family has not necessarily changed. Women, within the modern family, still bear the brunt of housekeeping, child rearing and basic familial chores. This form of family life is found throughout the United States and has evolved in response to women’s

The government plays an important role in the economy, as is the case in all countries. From the founding of the Republic, the United States federal government has strongly supported the development of transportation. It financed the first major canal system and later subsidized the railroads and the airlines. It has developed river valleys and built dams and power stations. It has extended electricity and scientific advice to farmers and assures them a minimum price for their basic crops. It checks the purity of food and drugs, insures bank deposits and guarantees loans.

America’s individual 50 states have been most active in building roads and in the field of education. Each year the states spend some $33,31 million on schools and provide a free public education for 29.1 million primary-school pupils and 11.4 million youth in secondary schools. (In addition, 8.3. a million youths attend private primary and secondary schools.) Approximately 60 percent of the students who graduate from secondary schools attend colleges and universities, 77,2 percent of which are supported by public funds. The United States leads the world in the percentage of the population that receives a higher education. Total enrollment in schools o higher learning is 13.4 million. (Bureau of Economic Analysis, 2003)

Despite the fact the United States government supports many segments of the nation’s economy, economists estimate that the public sector accounts for only one-fifth of American economic activity, with the remainder in private hands.

I Will Pay For The Following Essay Analyses Of Characteristics Of Bread Made Fro

I will pay for the following essay Analyses of characteristics of bread made from chestnut flour using standard method. The essay is to be 5 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

It is also seen that addition of chestnut flour helps in increasing sugar content therefore bread prepared from combination of chestnut flour and whole meal flour had more sugar content than whole meal flour bread. Results of odor test, taste test, smell test, triangle test and hedonic test establishes that bread prepared from combination of the healthier gluten-free chest-nut flour and gluten added whole meal flour or rice flour were better alternatives than breads baked solely by using 100% flour of any kind. Thus, combination of flours helps in making bread with enhanced characteristics in appearance taste, smell and health.

Bread forms an integral part of our everyday diet. The choice of bread that is made has an impact on the consumer’s health. History of bread baking goes back almost 30,000 years. At first man was not familiar with the leavening process and produced flat bread. However along with passage of time leavening agents were discovered which helped the rising of the bread. The most common leavening agent was yeast. Using of leavening agent made the bread softer and enhanced sensory properties and therefore the use of leavening agents is widely used today (Yeh et al, 2009).Thus now when one thinks of bread, automatically one imagines a spongy, well risen loaf. The key element responsible for the sponginess of texture and the rising of the bread is gluten, a protein. Gluten is also the structure binding agent that helps the baked bread acquire higher volume (Anton & Artifield, 2008). There exist a wide number of flours that includes gluten in them. However, research has shown that this seemingly essential component of bread has adverse health impacts on human health. It affects different systems of the body including the hormonal, neurological, and digestive and the immune system and causes a number of problems. Some people have developed allergy

Yeast’s rich knowledge about Irish myths and legends and his meetings with Freedom fighters like John .O. Leary inspired him to write about the concept of Nationalist Ireland. He therefore succeeds in being both assertive and courteous: firm and polite, and forthright and respectful, all in one breathe.

In my opinion, a good citizen is one who puts the interest of society before his own. and is ready to champion a course for the common good, without necessarily seeking for personal profit. Dr King has his objectives set beyond his immediate society to global concerns. Though his primary motivation is the liberation of the African-American, he uses this opportunity to go further to other people’s concerns- Jews, Asians, South Americans, Caribbeans and Africans. This concern for and awareness of global issues makes him a global citizen of sorts.

Dr. King is accommodative of other people. Even as he accuses the whites of injustice, he admits that there are some who partner with him in his course. “Some, like Ralph McGill …, have written about our struggle in eloquent, prophetic, and understanding terms.” (King Jr., pg 4). He concedes that some whites have suffered with them in jail, police brutality and being branded “dirty nigger lovers.” (King Jr., pg 4). As a good citizen, he does not condemn the entire white race, but wisely singles out the “moderate brothers” (King Jr., pg 4) whom he addresses. Besides, he condemns the “white church”, but concedes that “there are some notable exceptions.” (King Jr., pg 5)

Dr. King is a mediator and an advocate for non-violence. He stands “… in the middle of two opposing forces”. On one end are the complacent and insensitive African-Americans. and on the other, the extreme African American who is at the verge of violence in the course of fighting for their rights. The complacent African-Americans have been so subjected to oppression “… that they have adjusted to segregation,” (King, Jr. Pg 4) while the extremist African-Americans have been so frustrated by racism that they “…have lost faith in America.” (King Jr. Pg 4). As a good citizen, he

I Will Pay For The Following Essay Analyse And Discuss Concepts Of European Iden

I will pay for the following essay Analyse and discuss concepts of European identity. The essay is to be 8 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

Considering as a dependent variable, identity is repeatedly used to study the creation of racial or territorial identities. It is argued that Central Europeans formed a separate identity that was mainly defined in opposition to Russia and likeness to Western Europe. As an independent variable the study of identity uses to explain some facts of greater concern, for instance the nature of political rivalry.

After the World War II those who wished of a united Europe were searching ways to uphold a strong sense of European identity. Even though, thoughts on a European identity conceptualized ten years earlier to the World War II the political, social, and economic disorders linked with World War II, basically changed the European order. Hence it became necessary to assume of Europe in different ways. The formation of the European Coal and Steel Community, and the European Economic Community (EEC), were the outcome of those views (Williams, 1987). As the hurdles to trade within the EEC began to drop in 1960s, that resulted in the start of discussion of a sprouting United States of Europe. This was not only just a formal economic entity but it was presumed as a possible hub of identity for its inhabitants.

The discussion over the nature and significance of European identity goes deep into many of the critical matters facing Europe today (Deflem and Pampel,1996. Delanty, 1995. Hodgson, 1993). Making the debate difficult are the suppositions that are made about the very nature of identity itself. These assumptions are the creation of political-territorial growth over the past centuries that have cast the state in the role of architect and symbol of international society (Murphy, 1996. Taylor, 1994). Hence, the concepts of nation and state became conflated and national identities to be considered as if they were the major matter of investigation in learning’s of
