I Will Pay For The Following Article Council Board Meeting The Work Is To Be 2 P

I will pay for the following article COUNCIL/BOARD MEETING. The work is to be 2 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Council/board meeting Affiliation: The meeting attended was for the of Saskatoon on the 20th of January, 2014. There were a lot of discussions on the various agendas but the most capturing of all and which was also vivid and hence understandable was in regards to administrative reports which had plans for the community services which were under the community services department.

This report contained plans regarding the how the land in that area would be used and people had been making applications and stating the purpose for the land. The most notable among the planning and operations committee recommendations from the community services department however was the age-friendly Saskatoon initiative report which was on the phase 2 level. This project which was being led by the Saskatoon Council of Aging was formulated with the intention of supporting the older adults in that area to advance in their age having dignity, independence and proper health care. The project was important to the community of Saskatoon because it not only has many older generation people but it would be a long lasting project serving the community for decades to come if well built.

The support of the project by the mayor and other committee members would come because it is consistent with the aspiration of that city to offer its residents a better and desirable quality of life for its entire people and for long time to come. The completion of this project will also be in line with the fulfillment of their policy of positive aging and improving communication and community participation with the older generation. The project was referred to as the Age friendly Saskatoon Initiative.

This report presented in the meeting also included an in depth pictorial report which indicated the dimensions of the plan which was inclusive of outdoor spaces, housing, social participation, access to information and communication and even transportation. There were no financial or environmental implications mentioned in the report at this particular meeting as it was basically about the plans. The success of this project as indicated in the meeting was crucial as it involved many stakeholders and initiative partners such as the Saskatoon Housing Authority, Saskatoon Public Library, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Health Region and Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Association Services for seniors among others. The quick completion of the project was mentioned as being crucial due to the increase in the number of people above 65 years who were mentioned to be at 13% of the total population presently and this number was on the increase.

According to the planning committee, the different dimensions mentioned above of the initiative serve different purposes. The outdoor spaces was to encourage activity among the aged including walking which would provide them with fitness as well as clean air during the summer season. The transportation was to ease mobility, the housing to provide shelter, security and independence while the social participation was to encourage mingling and communication as well as offer entertainment platform for the senior citizens to engage in social activities. The communication and information will provide a channel for them keeping abreast of the happenings not only in their community but the world at large while at the same time reducing boredom and monotony. This would be catered for by the Saskatoon Public Library

I Will Pay For The Following Article Contemporary History Of Middle East The Wor

I will pay for the following article Contemporary History of Middle East. The work is to be 13 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. When British and Russian Empires were in a great tussle to have their control in the&nbsp. Central Asia, which is known as Great Game in history, Alfred Thayer Mahan realized the strategic importance of this region and of the Persian Gulf as well and called the area the Middle East.&nbsp.Mahan used this term in his article. “The Persian Gulf and International Relations, published in the issue of September 1902 in National Review.

This term invited many criticisms for it reflected the Euro centrism to many historians. ². the British labeled Balkan and Ottoman Empire as Near East before the First World War and the region of Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asia was referred to as the Middle East. The United States government first used this term officially in 1957 in the Eisenhower Doctrine and in 1958 the State Department marked the region of Middle East including the areas of Egypt, Syria, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.³

A-Discuss the difficulties faced by the Middle Eastern empires in adapting to the intellectual, technological, economic, political and social challenges presented by the West in the 18th and 19th centuries.

There was a time when Islamic civilization was imposing and its influences extended from the border of China to Spain. It owed its nourishing to Greek antiquity, synthesizing it with Persian and Syrian influences and added valuable contributions in mathematics and music. “Islam was also a paradox. Its social assumptions were feudal and patriarchal” but it tolerated other religions to a high degree. 4. Islam could not demarcate between secular and religious law it was deficient in the sense of divine law or natural law which was the foundation of the Greco-Roman concept of a constitutional state which also provided the determination to the Greco-Western to fight against despotism. In the 10th to 13th century by incorporating Hellenism Islam became unorthodox and interesting religion. But it could not bring itself to the anti despotic values as were observed in the West by continuous renaissance and by the incorporating anti-despotic imagery of Hellenism.

The history of rising and fall of the Ottoman Empire is a good document of the real tragedy of Islamic Civilization.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Conceptual Art As A Response To Modernism T

I will pay for the following article Conceptual Art as a Response to Modernism. The work is to be 7 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. The essay “Conceptual Art as a Response to Modernism” analyzes conceptual art. Conceptual art was a critique and a pushback against modernism, simply because modernism had a structure and a place in history and theory of art. According to Harrison & Wood, modernist art assumes the relationship between art and language and art and theory. Theoretical art, according to Harrison & Wood is post hoc, in that it builds upon tradition and what has gone before. In this sense, modernist art, while new and a repudiation of traditional art forms, still retained a semblance of previous art forms. The modernists explored the future in their art, and built their concepts on the “new man,” yet, the forms that they explored did not stray to far from traditional art, as they looked for a “different means of expression best suited to each component of his language: line, surface and color”. In other words, artists explored different ideas and different ways of creating art, and different means of expression, yet these explorations occurred within the confines of accepted art forms, such as painting, sculpture and the like. So, it is perhaps ironic that one of the fathers of the conceptual art movement was a man who was associated with modernism, and that was Marcel Duchamp. Duchamp was the first artist who conceptualized everyday items as works of art. Or, rather, he was the first artist who was able to turn everyday items into works of art, simply by stating that these items were something else entirely.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Concept Of Correlation The Work Is To Be 2

I will pay for the following article Concept of correlation. The work is to be 2 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Correlation Analysis Correlation analysis is done to measure the strength or magnitude of linear association between two variables. As per definition, a correlation coefficient must lie between -1 and +1. If the correlation between two variables is high, than the model fits the data well depending on whether it is positively or negatively correlated. While, if the correlation is low, than the model is not providing a good fit to the data.

We can explain correlation with the help of graphs

Figure 1: Perfectly Positive Correlation

The graph above shows that the variables are perfectly positively correlated as an increase in the value of independent variable causes the value of dependent variable to increase by the slope of the equation. An example of a perfectly positive correlation can be supply of good with respect to the price of good. As the price increase, the suppliers tend to supply more of the product.

Figure 2: Perfectly Negative Correlation

This graph above shows that the variables are perfectly negatively correlated as an increase in the value of the independent variable causes the value of dependent variable to decrease by the slope of the equation. An example of a perfectly negative correlation can be the demand of good with respect to the price of good. As the price increase, the consumers tend to less of the product.

Figure 3: Minimal Correlation

The third case where the correlation is positive but close to zero since the variables are not closely associated and the data are not scattered around a positive line.

The correlation between two variables is weak if they are close to zero whether they are negative or positive. GDP and interest rates of the economy are correlated but the magnitude of correlation is very low. On the other side, there might be a strong correlation between smoking and lung cancer.

In the article published by Goolsbee and Guryan (2005) we can infer the correlations among the several variables. The table below illustrates how these variables are related:

Variable A

Variable B

Positive, Negative, Minimal Correlation:

Number of school lunch

eligible students in the

school

Amount of funding

received by the school for

federal and state

education-related

programs

Positive Correlation

Impact of subsidy received

Age of students at school

Minimal Correlation

Number of classrooms

connected to the Internet

Student performance, as

measured by standardized

test scores

Minimal Correlation

Teachers’ comfort level

with the Internet

Ability of teachers to use

Internet effectively with

their students

Positively Correlated

1) As per the government policy, the federal government subsidizes or gives free school lunches to students whose family income is below a certain level, usually close to the poverty level. So higher the number of eligible students for lunch, higher will be the amount of funding received by the school

2) Age is not correlated with the impact of subsidy received

3) As mentioned in the case study that increase in classroom Internet connections did not prove to have a profound impact on student achievement, as measured by test scores in a variety of subjects.

4) The authors pointed that if teachers are uncomfortable working with the technology they cannot use internet effectively with their students.

WidgeCorp can use this correlation analysis to effectively market its cold drinks in public schools. Since we know that there is a positive correlation between free school lunches and poverty level therefore WidgeCorp can approach the government to offer quality foods at affordable rates. There will be a stiff competition on the basis of price therefore as a case of bulk discounting WidgeCorp should offer quality foods to Government on competitive prices.

I will pay for the following article Failing Middle Schools. The work is to be 3 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Failing Middle Schools FAILING MIDDLE SCHOOLS: A CASE STUDY OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND TURNAROUND REFORM Introduction World leaders believe that middle schools significantly play a crucial role in enabling the nations. The term “middle schools” or “middle schooling” have been a popular discussion in schools over the past decade. Recent studies, however, have drawn insights on the need to re-conceptualize the role of the middle grade in the public education system.

&nbsp.Merely 10% to 20% probability graduated on time. Moreover, more students continue to fail courses and may not achieve on-time promotion to the next grade. Lack the skills, knowledge, and self-confidence to succeed in high school and feeling distanced from his or her peers, the student continues to fail, does not earn promotion to the 10th grade. Furthermore, school principals have also expressed concerned about some schools’ lack of sufficient staff to carry out their several non-instructional tasks such as the roster chairs, work of technology coordinators, Special Education liaisons, social workers and others (Useem, E., and Teoh, M. 2003).

Schoolings success according to Balfanz, R. (2009)in improving student outcomes were dependent on the manner by which it operates under situations in which teaching is promoted and considers three major conditions which are the teacher career structures, teacher time, and teacher leadership. Some works of literature also suggest that more teacher collaboration, as well as the higher workload on teachers in middle schooling,&nbsp. is required, as compared to the case in traditional schools. Staff development must also be a focus in order to achieve a stronger professional community. The school should provide opportunities to teachers to benefit from career advancement and find ways as to how can they retain the benefits of teachers who practice the traditional subject-based teacher leadership, at the same time sustaining its strength in curriculum relevance, pastoral care, and constructivist pedagogy.

Problem Statement

Research Questions:

1. What is the Level of Reading Competencies among Middle School Students in Selected Middle Schools?

2. To which extent do Middle School teachers involve in professional development, in terms of the following:

a. Attendance to Seminars d. Enrolled in Continuing Education b. Attendance to Pieces of training. Membership to Professional Organization c. Attendance to Conferences f. Research Conduct and Presentations

Failing Middle Schools 2

3. Are the Level of Reading Competencies among Middle School Students in Selected Middle School, strongly relates to the extent of Middle School Teacher involvement in professional development, when categorized based on:

a. Degree acquired b. Length of School Serviced. Rank/Position e.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Ec320 Child Development Assignment 2 The Wo

I will pay for the following article EC320 CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSIGNMENT 2. The work is to be 1 page with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Child Development The birth of a child is an extremely amazing experience, as a new life has been brought into the world. This type of occasion should be celebrated with great joy and excitement. A newborn child is treated like a new ‘toy’ as everyone wants to see it and carry it for the first time. When a new addition to the family arrives, it changes the family dynamics as people’s roles are changed and added responsibility appears.

From the newborn child’s perspective nothing really changes as it has just entered the world. The newborn baby will experience a lot of different people in a short space of time. This is because everyone wants to meet the baby. As the first few days pass the newborn child’s day becomes less hectic and it begins to settle into normal routines with feeds and sleeping patterns. Throughout its early life it will get comfortable with the people that it interacts with on a regular basis. This is usually the mother, father and siblings. By feeling comfortable the child may cry less and be more settled.

The mother is the person who goes through the actual birth. therefore it is understandable if she is slightly shocked and overwhelmed at the occasion. The mother is usually the first person who holds the child. As a result there is that automatic bond between mother and child. The female gains a lot of responsibility from the birth of a child due to the fact that a mother is responsible for the breastfeeding of the child at different intervals during the day. The mother in particular will be very over protective of her child and will not want to let the newborn child out of her sight. If the newborn child is the mother’s first child then the female has a massive shock to her life. She will have to feed the child, be kept up by the child during the night and change the child’s nappy when it needs to be. Simple procedures like changing a nappy can be demanding for new parents.

Father’s reactions are very similar to that of the mothers. However it seems that the father views things from a distance compared to the mother. The mother spends more time with the child, as she is in hospital with the child. If this is the first child then the male gains a huge amount of responsibility. One example is financially as children do not come cheap. The father has to financially analyse how the family are going to support the extra person while trying to spend as much time with his new child as possible. Also parents to a newborn child are really protective. For example if the newborn child has a rash, they seem to come to the worst conclusion. More than likely it is just a harmless rash. This portrays the care and love the parents have for the newborn child.

Siblings to the newborn child can react in to ways to newborn child. They will either embrace the child with open arms. This could be due to the fact that they may feel that they have added responsibility as an older sibling or they genuinely like the baby. On the other hand the siblings may not like the newborn child as it may seem to be stealing the limelight. This is all depends on how the parents handle the situation. If the parents include the older sibling in the activities with the newborn child then bonding between the siblings is more likely to happen and at a lot quicker pace. However as the siblings grow up they will naturally learn to love and protect one another. It has been stated many times that siblings grow some of the strongest bonds in families.

Also other family members such as aunties and uncles have a responsibility for the newborn child. They are the second port of call for the child if the parents are not there. However their lives do not change much due to the fact they have limited involvement as they get on with their own lives. Furthermore they will be extremely happy for the parents of the child as they are their siblings.

In conclusion a family’s life is dramatically changed once a newborn child is born. Usually the parents and the siblings are the ones who gain extra responsibility and interact with the child the most. Other family members have a much distant relationship compared to the immediate family.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Explaining Employees Behaviours Using Psych

I will pay for the following article Explaining Employees Behaviours Using Psychological Motivation Theories. The work is to be 8 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. The results of this paper reveal that there is a relationship between motivation theories and organizational behaviour. These theories can help human resource managers explain and predict human activities within their working environment. The approaches to be used to study organizational behaviour are content and process theories.

In any firm, having a motivated workforce guarantees success. Motivated workers work harder, are less absent from their duties, produce better output and are very productive. Human Resource Departments often use motivation to study organizational behaviour. Motivation is key in explaining and predicting activities within a working environment. Therefore, by conducting a detailed analysis of motivation, it is the same as analyzing the way employees conduct their activities in a working environment (Dye, 2005).

When studying organizational behaviour using motivation, there are two theories involved: content theories and process theories. Content theories cover things that make people motivated. The theory identifies the needs required by employees in order to be motivated. Process theories focus less on the needs required by employees, and more on thought-processes that impact employees’ behaviour (Leonard, 1999). This paper will conduct a detailed analysis of these two theories when evaluating the usefulness of psychological motivation theories in explaining behaviour in organizations. The paper has briefly explained the context of the study. After this brief background of the study, the next chapter is the literature review that will provide appropriate examples of how useful psychological motivation theories are when describing behaviour in organizations. The last chapter will be the conclusion, and it will summarise the results of this paper.

A study by Heng (2003) defined motivation as ‘the study why people think and behave as they do (2003, p. 45).’ Psychology motivation is concerned with examining what employees are doing (choice of behaviour), estimating time taken by an employee to initiate an activity (latency of behaviour), measuring the efforts taken by an employee to complete a task (intensity of behaviour), estimating the time an employee wishes to stay in a particular organisation (persistence of behaviour), and finding out what an individual thinks and feels when doing a task (emotional reactions of behaviour).&nbsp.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Drama Comed And Documentary The Work Is To

I will pay for the following article Drama, Comed, and Documentary. The work is to be 3 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Generally, both drama and comedy attract a larger audience when compared to documentaries. Comedy contains a lot of humor and therefore the liberals and the moderates make up the wide audience that is enjoyed. Conservatives, on the other hand, are able to relish documentaries, News and business channels and Sports.

There are many similarities as well as differences between Drama, Comedy, and Documentaries. While Drama appeals to one’s emotions and feelings, Comedy does not appeal to one’s emotions but appeals to one’s senses. If a person is not a humorous person or does not have a good sense of humor, he will not have the capacity to enjoy any type of Comedy. Drama does not have to be all that serious, neither does Comedy have to be totally hilarious. They could borrow from and lend to each other. Drama is based on people in difficult situations who try to find solutions to come out of it. It is primarily held together by emotionalism. It is supposed to look real and move the audiences emotionally.

Comedy, on the other hand, is mostly hilarious and engages its audience by compelling them to interact, laugh, cry and exhibit the humorous side of their personality. In Drama, there is little or no interaction, but it makes one feel the situation that is being enacted. Drama draws its audience slowly and gradually, whereas Comedy has the capacity to grab at its audience on the spur of the moment. The centrifugal point in Drama is that it has a strong emotional knot that is slowly unraveled as the scenes proceed. Comedy could be a completely separate track all by itself and does not have to depend on other factors. In Drama, we have both Tragedy and Comedy. Tragedy goes beyond just Drama because it has heightened emotion, creates a greater impact on the audience and culminates in a catharsis.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Explain The Basic Principles Of Mr Image Pr

I will pay for the following article Explain the basic principles of MR image production. The work is to be 7 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. MRI is the safest imaging clinical imaging technique that is used for a variety of medical purposes like differentiating between normal and pathological tissues for diagnosis and tracking dynamic changes in tissue properties over time.

Magnetism is physical phenomenon in which materials and moving charged particles can attract or repel other materials or moving charged particles (Ballinger, Intro to MRI, 1998). Magnetism results from moving electric charges or intrinsic spin moments of electrons or nucleis. Spin is a quantum mechanical property. This means that the available spin energy levels are constrained to specific, discrete values. A spin 1/2 particle has only two possible spin states: spin up (+ 1/2) or spin down (- 1/2). The magnetic moment is aligned with the spin. The spin-up and spin-down states are described as being equal in energy, or degenerate. However, if another magnetic field is introduced, the spin-up and spin-down states will be no longer equal in energy. The energy difference introduced by applying the external magnetic field is known as the Zeeman splitting (van Geuns, 1999). This effect is very important in such applications as magnetic resonance imaging. Magnetism can be classified as paramagnetism, diamagnetism, ferromagnetism, and antiferromagnetism (Ballinger, Intro to MRI, 1998).

Having microscopic magnetization, protons within a magnetic field produce wobbling as they spin. The rate of this wobbling or precession constitutes resonance or Larmor frequency (Intro to MRI). The application of a radio frequency pulse at the Larmor frequency causes a change in the distribution of spins with respect to their energy state and precessional phase coherence (Rodr´ıguez, 2003). Practically, it means that If individual nuclei is exposed to RF radiation at the Larmor frequency, nuclei in the lower energy state jumps to the higher energy state (Intro to MRI).

I will pay for the following article Discusssion 7. The work is to be 1 page with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Teacher Response I It is obvious that the security set up in place is not working to prevent nor deter the burglars from breaking into the swimming club. They are also increasingly become more emboldened as they are now taking the time to drill safes knowing that there are no security measures in place. If this lack of security measure will continue, it will not be long that offenders will begin to steal other things in the club. I do not agree with the idea that “Without publicity the effects are simply to contain the problem” (Tilley & Webb, 1994, p. 26) because publicity will not contain nor stop the problem. Instead, I suggest that a roving security guard will be hired to deter offenders.

Response II

I agree that for offenders to be deterred stealing from the swimming club, security measures such as hardening of the target must be instituted. For certain, the absence of security measures in the swimming club must have encouraged offenders to break into the club. t will not be long that this simple burglary will escalate and in addition to cash, other important equipment in the club may be stolen. I also agree with findings of Bruce that apprehension almost do not work (2005 pg. 74). Most of the time, burglars will already be gone before apprehending officers can catch them. So the question now would be what is the most effective way of hardening the target given the situation? By now, the burglars are already emboldened from stealing the club. The best suggestion is to have a combination of security measures that would deter the offenders.
