I Have Really Ponder This Question For A While I Do Not Think Americans In The B

I have really ponder this question for a while. I do not think Americans in the business world have become ruder. One article define rudeness as “insensitive or disrespectful behavior enacted by a person that displays a lack of regards for others” (Woolum, A., et. al., 2017, p 1658). The people that are heading up the business world now are millennials. They do not see answering their phones while in one conversation as being rude, especially when it is business. When ask questions they answer the questions directly and move on to something else. They live in a fast past, need it now environment. They are in the digital media world and are accustomed to the virtual world of doing business. Years ago we did not use cell phones or tablets to conduct business but now it critical. It seems to be acceptable for someone to be in a meeting and texting or reading emails and responding. Is this rudeness or is it another way of handling business in this fast past environment. Now that the business world seem to gravitating towards the team concept. People have to work together to achieve an objective. This can create an environment of dependence. This can lead to a more respected environment.

I also feel that do to the fact people can sue or file claims for being treated unfairly, bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment the business environment is taking steps to ensure this does not happen by providing more training for their supervisors or managers. “Encouraging civility in the workplace is becoming one of the fundamental corporate goals in our diverse, hurried, stressed, and litigation-prone society” (Bell & Roebuck, 2015, p. 73). This type of environment is good for workers, their quality of life is improve and it is also good for the organization customers. When customers are happy business improve.

Luke 6:31 states “And as you wish others would do you, do so to them”.  As Christians when we follow this simple scripture we will know that we are doing our part in changing the business culture for the better.

I Have Read Several Responses To The Below Case Study But I Am Not Getting The H

I have read several responses to the below case study, but I am not getting the help that I need to complete this assignment. I feel as though the professor is asking for specifics, which none of the previous submissions provided. No risks were identified, the recommendations on how to prevent future spills were very general, and the response actions were also general. The professor provided specific information that I believe should be not only noted but referred to and it doesn’t seem like any of the help I have received to this point has helped me with that.

You have been hired as a consultant by your town’s emergency management coordinator to help develop emergency action plans. One of the reasons you were selected is your expertise in using the General Behavior Model (GEBMO) to assess risks. Your first task is to assess the hazardous material risks at a local gas station. The station has one 30,000-gallon underground storage tank compartmentalized to hold 10,000 gallons each of the three gasoline grades, and there is one additional 10,000-gallon tank for diesel fuel. The station has four pumps, and each one can deliver all four products. Also on site is a 2,500 sq. ft. concrete block building used for the cashier and retail sales of service station and convenience store items.

The station is located at a busy intersection near the center of town. It is adjacent to several other local businesses that do a brisk business during the day. Across the street from the station is a large housing development with an elementary school. Behind the station is a city park with playgrounds, baseball fields, and a large wooded area.

Use the GEBMO framework to assess the risks related to the fuels in the underground tanks. Consider physical, chemical, and natural hazards that may contribute to the risks.

1. Discuss how you applied each of the steps in the GEBMO process and what risks you identified.

2. Provide recommendations for preventing spills or releases.

3. Discuss response actions required in the event of a spill or release.

Support your discussion with appropriate references and in-text citations. Your submission must be a minimum of two pages and a maximum of four pages in length.

I have provided a copy below of how the essay should be.

Write a six (6) page minimum overview for each of Samuel Walker’s, The Color of Justice: Race, Ethnicity, and Crime in America chapters beginning with the first week, and deposit it in the Assignment folder. An overview addresses the main ideas of a document, which demonstrates that you are able to follow the literature, thereby demonstrating that you have a clear understanding.  Your opinion can be included.  It shows critical thinking (which says that another perspective might be…)  however, do not disagree with the literature unless you have found research literature that counters what the authors are conveying.  As another suggestion, you may also refer to the course objectives in the syllabus.  Not the weekly objectives.  There are no logistics other than the 6-page minimum.  Some chapters are longer than others and may require more pages to get a complete overview, but no overview should be less than 6 pages.

I Have Provided 2 Different Ted Talks From Professor Jonathon Haidt I Have Also

I have provided 2 different TED Talks from Professor Jonathon Haidt.  I have also provided numerous other websites and TED Talks.  I provided these additional resources to you as additional research sites for this class, but also for your future classes and/or profession.

I think the issues discussed in Chapter 5 and by Professor Haidt are critical at this time in our country.  Arguably, the popularity of Donald Trump in the 2016 election, and the vote by Great Britain to exit the European Union can be traced back to these issues of plurality and our growing inability to find “common ground” for some of our very important looming issues.

Our country is becoming more and more polarized.  You may agree or disagree with what Professor Haidt has to say, but something different about each of his conversations is that at the end of each one he offers some practical ideas that might provide some solutions to bring people back together, so we can at least start to find common ground again.

I think understanding Professor Haidt’s main ideas from the first TED Talk leads to a better understanding of the second TED Talk.

Below are some questions for you to think about and answer from the two TED Talks.

Please complete the following questions:

From the first TED Talk:

1.  What is one of the main differences as described by Jonathan Haidt of Liberals and Conservatives?

2.  What is the irony Professor Haidt points out with regard to the “makeup” of the TED Talk audience?

3.  List the 5 foundations of morality Professor Haidt believes we are born with.

4.  What are the three foundations of Morality that Professor Haidt believes are at odds between Conservatives and Liberals?

5.  According to Professor Haidt, what needs to be implemented or introduced into a larger group in order to get more sharing of common resources?

6.  According to Professor Haidt what lesson can be learned from looking at Eastern Religions?  In other words, how should we be viewing our differences?

7.  Professor Haidt states that we were designed to unite into teams, divide against other teams, and thus we become blinded to the truth.  What does he suggest we should do first in order to begin to cultivate “moral humility”?

From the second TED Talk:

Professor Haidt has come up with an analogy of “asteroids” to help us understand our social issues and how political polarization is halting our ability to solve any large policy challenges.

1.  What are the 2 liberal “asteroids”?   Briefly explain these.

2.  What are the 2 conservative “asteroids”?  Briefly explain these.

3.  During this conversation, Professor Haidt shows several different graphs to demonstrate his points.  What do all of these graphs basically have in common?

4.  Professor Haidt comes up with three suggestions for beginning to fix the problems of polarization within Congress.  List these and briefly explain them.

5.  What is an example given by Professor Haidt showing how two seemingly opposite groups have come together?

Summing it all up:

I have asked you these questions above basically like a guided reading exercise to hopefully assist you in parsing out the main ideas of his presentations.  Above, I just expected you to answer the questions.  For this last question, give me your thoughts.

Do you agree or disagree with any of his assumptions or conclusions?  Have you experienced any situations that support his ideas?  What do you think about his findings regarding the difference between liberals and conservatives?  What do you think of his “asteroid” issues?  Do you think there are other big “asteroid” issues that he did not mention?  Do you think we might have some local “asteroid” issues we should be addressing?  Do you think any of his ideas could work?  Do you have any ideas of your own?  How might this information make you a better public administrator?

There is not a minimum word count here.  My hope is that you found these talks interesting and thought provoking.

As mentioned above, below these directions are some additional TED Talks and websites (Other than the Professor Haidt Ted Talks) that offer even more interesting ideas, activities, thoughts and suggestions for this issue of finding common ground.  Each one offers a slightly different take on this very important issue.  Just take a little time and explore.  I think the additional TED Talks are very interesting in particular.  Again, these additional resources are just there for your general review.

I Have Problems With Interpreting This Nmr Spectrum First Of All I Don T Know Ho

I have problems with interpreting this NMR spectrum. First of all, I don’t know how to calculate J(Hz) values. I’m not sure I got integrated intensity right. As you see attached picture, I can assume peak 2 and 3 has two hydrogens. Peak 2 has hydrogen D and F since it’s close to carboxylic acid but I don’t know which peak is which and get each chemical shift.I can also assume peak 3 has hydrogen E and G but again, I don’t know which peak is which. I’m pretty sure peak 5 is H. The most tricky part is I have no idea about Hydrogen C and DPlease help me how to interpret this NMR spectrumThank you.

I have several functions to complete on a data set in R

1. Load the dataset mtcars.xlsx- completed.

Preview the document into memory and convert column am to a factor using factor() function.

2. Split the data into training set and test set. The training set contains the first 35 observations, the test set containing the remaining observations.

3. Build a logistic regression model with the response is am and the predictors are mpg, cyl, hp, and wt using glm() function

4. Compute the test error on the test data set using a confusion matrix. Is it a good model based on test error?
