Hi Need To Submit A 4000 Words Paper On The Topic Managing People And Developing

Hi, need to submit a 4000 words paper on the topic Managing people and developing, leading team. I am a member of the Libyan students’ society in Leicester. I was involved in a social program that was working with young Libyan people. The organizations involved in coordinating the social program were Libyan Red Crescent and some civil society organizations. The main objective of working with the civil society was to carry out charity works and equip community members with assertive skills with respect to observance of civil rights. Working with young Libyan people was both fun and challenging at the same time because of the stubborn nature of young men when they grow up. This program offered a platform to sharpen my skills, as they will be needed during the next visit. It was crucial that we avoid past mistakes and use new techniques. I worked with young Libyan people in Libyan secondary school in Leicester and Taiba mosque near Libyan school. The project was organized based on the presumption that most young people need some motivations to navigate life and still lead healthy lives. The charity programs helped to reduce the desperation of the locals who were faced with a high rate of unemployment. I applied my aesthetic skills in helping restore the dignity of girls who have been victims of rape and other abuses. There were a lot of activities that indulged young Libyan people, for example, participating in lectures about first aid, playing football, visiting interesting places and others.

In order to accomplish the project’s objectives, there was need to partition ourselves into various teams and use the teams as a means of getting to the end. We organized ourselves into strategic teams, which were headed by my fellow colleagues. There was a need to identify common values, goals, and objectives. This was crucial in the management of conflicting interests and desires. The boys were teenagers in their early and late teens, and had a lot of enthusiasm for fun games.

In todays volatile business environment characterised by changes such as new market development, technological innovation, regulatory requirements, and changing consumer behaviours, technology based companies like Apple need to harness factors that are within their control. Zook (2004) recommends that companies or brands should progress by simultaneously investing in current business and responding to the new opportunities. To achieve this, companies must scan the environment and evaluate its current marketing programme in order to revise its marketing strategies for achieving growth (McGrath 2001). In the following sections, the author shall study these aspects pertaining to Apples iPod brand particularly relating to the UK market, and offer recommendations for improvement.

Every business must operate within its macro and micro environment. The micro environment refers to factors that operate and immediately linked with the firm while the macro and competitive environment is the general factors that affect all firms. The environment can be evaluated so that the best opportunities can be capitalized to the advantage of the brand (Porter 1980). iPods macro and competitive environments are discussed as follows:

Political – The UK is undergoing tremendous social and political change which influences its consumers as well as businesses. As the report declares due to rapid globalization, the demographics of the various areas of the world are rapidly changing and it is therefore common for local residents of a region to compete for resources with newly arriving foreigners originating from other parts of the world. Besides this competition, other factors like political interests or religious differences also contribute to enhancing hatred among different groups of an area, which ultimately translates into occurrence of crimes.

This paper stresses that among the various types of crimes, hate crimes hold a special position due to the fact that violence or anger in this case is motivated by ethnic, linguistic, nationality, racial, color, sexual orientation or other prejudices. The basic difference between hate crimes and regular crimes relates to the motive of crime. Hi Need To Submit A 4000 Words Essay On The Topic The Uk Post Recession Economy

Hi, need to submit a 4000 words essay on the topic The UK post-recession economy.

This essay explores the characteristics and attributes of an entrepreneur, examining different theoretical positions about what constitutes entrepreneurial activity and behavior. Once identifying these characteristics, the essay utilizes various examples of how such activities relate to the UK emerging from a recession environment. Opportunity spotting, as an aspect of theoretical entrepreneurial behavior, is known as a type of alertness, schemata giving an entrepreneur the unique ability to create meaning to various market changes that are not achievable with other managers in the business world (Valliere 2013). Such inherent alertness theoretically gives a real entrepreneur that ability to recognize new opportunities where others in society and the business world do not (Valliere). For instance, an entrepreneur may gain access to important statistics about new trends in consumer behaviour and then determine that their business can be adjusted to better service these trends in a fashion that is innovative and creative, whilst also being designed to satisfy consumer needs in a way not considered by competing companies in an established market. Opportunity spotting, in general, is related to the ability of a theoretical entrepreneur to recognize new market openings or chances to develop a superior business model that can bring a firm greater profitability and competitive advantages by making small-scale or large changes to an existing entrepreneurial venture’s business model.

Hi Need To Submit A 4000 Words Essay On The Topic Mental Health And Its Impact O

Hi, need to submit a 4000 words essay on the topic Mental health and its impact on children.

During these early ages, treatment was archaic, primarily involving therapy and counselling within community settings. Although there was no organised methodical care, there was a strong culture involving documentation and description of mental ailments. This paved way for heightened interest in mental health, hence the emergence of organised societal settings for research and care in form of asylums in the 19th century (Bewley, 2008). Treatments offered in these early asylums were primitive, involving oral administration of experimental sedatives such laudanum and bath therapies, aimed at calming down disturbed patients. These asylums barely distinguished the causes of mental health issues. They usually provided similar long term boarding care for a broad array of patients including individuals with learning problems, epilepsy, dementia from different causes, and even perceived “moral defects” (Burton, 2001). With time, however, asylum care progressed significantly, incorporating advanced drug and psychiatric treatment. The latter progress made way for de-institutionalisation of mental health care in England, in the mid to late 20th century. Closure of asylum-like institutions, as provided for under government policy, has led to development of the contemporary community-based mental health services. These modern mental health services are characterised by advanced and humane care (McCulloch, Glover, & St John, 2003). Despite the significant milestones reached in mental health service in the UK, poor mental health remains a challenge. According to a recent survey by the UK government, bad mental health is the primary causative factor of disability in the UK. The study also showed that poor mental health is closely linked to other problems such as physical ailments, poor social relationships, and reduced work productivity. This paper seeks to explore mental health and

In effect, the major strengths and weaknesses that have been associated with BP Oil’s risk management policies shall be outlined and compared to risk management practices at Tullow Oil Ghana. This comparison will be done so that in later chapters, particularly the discussion chapter, the researcher will draw inferences on how Tullow Oil Ghana can learn from the strengths and weaknesses of risk management policies from BP Oil perspective. In relation to the general aim of the study, particular attention shall be paid to how BP Oil have both benefited and failed to benefit from the use of Enterprise Risk Management practices at different times of risk situations that the company faced. In order to follow the qualitative philosophies of the research, the researcher is going to dwell on the analysis of secondary data instead of the use of primary data. This will be done because of the impact that secondary data has on qualitative data, making it more subjective, but backed by empirical evidence from related literature (PSA, 2007). 4.1 Analysis of Secondary Data on Risk Management Practices at BP 4.11 Risk Management Options at BP As far as risk management practices are concerned, there are a number of options that can be found throughout of existing data for oil and gas companies, of which BP Oil is one. Generally, BP Oil has been identified to have used three major risk management practices at different times of its operations. These options have been avoidance, knowledge and research, and controlling. Avoidance has been used in very high risk situations to ensure that there exist alternative approaches that do not bear any risks at all (Vinnem et al, 2007). The effectiveness of avoidance has however been found to be vested in a risk management environment where risk managers can be proactive enough to identify alternative options (Bly, 2011). Knowledge and research has been pointed out in some existing research data as not being an independent risk management option but an effective tool for equipping the functionality of other risk management options. At BP Oil therefore, knowledge and research is not used in dealing with initial risks but is used as mop up risk management option to consolidate the efficacy of other options on practice. Commonly, research and knowledge is used in relation to the final risk management option at BP, which is controlling. Controlling has been found to be the commonest risk management option at BP for day to day risk situations (PSA, 2007). It has been found to involve the creations of a risk reduction plan made up of parallel development programmes (Vinnem et al, 2007). From the graph above, it can be observed that BP Oil chooses different risk management options depending on the level of risk that the company is presented with at any point in time. Where there is high risk, the company employs the use of avoidance. where there is medium risk, the company employs the use of controlling. and where there is low risk, the company employs the use of knowledge and research (K &amp. R). 4.

Hi Need To Submit A 4000 Words Essay On The Topic Managing Change In Orgainsatio

Hi, need to submit a 4000 words essay on the topic Managing change in orgainsations.

The common definition of globalisation suggests that globalisation is fuelled by the interrelationship between various central trigger factors including economic, technological, socio-cultural, political and biological factors, resulting in the interconnectivity of states. In turn, the proliferation of the globalisation phenomenon has offered novel business opportunities regarding expansion in international business strategy.

The integration of the globalisation phenomenon into business with the increased movement of capital and commodities has had a significant impact on international business strategy (Tomlinson, 1999). Additionally, Held and McGrew argue that globalisation represents the interconnectedness of states, societies and culture, which has thereby propelled global trade, ideas and capital (Held & McGrew, 1999).

Furthermore Brah et al, argue that globalisation as a novel cultural paradigm is exemplified by the internet revolution, which has challenged methods of dissemination (Brah et al, 1999: 3). Moreover, Tomlinson posits that globalisation has had a concomitant effect on traditional cultural models with the creation of new cultural models (Tomlinson et al, 1999).

The digital era fuelled novel business opportunities and the continuous evolution of online business channels has made multi-channel retailing a reality, with the customer now placed at the forefront of business strategy. In turn this has reshaped business distribution and marketing models in addition to competing in a product marketplace. in certain industries the customer is the marketplace. Indeed, the e-commerce business model has challenged traditional adage that “location, location, location” is critical to commercial success (Chaffey, D. 2006). which has threatened the traditional business model for travel agencies in the tourism industry. compelling agencies to formulate novel strategic moves to sustain continued growth (Zhou, Z. 2003).

The governance is held by a board of directors which creates a relationship to the stakeholders, communities and managerial staff of Citi bank. The Board Members are elected by a confidential vote and are inclusive of 13-19 members that are responsible for the direction of the company. This is based on the internal environment working with those in need, specifically so there is a return in responsibility for the financing. This also creates a response to value those who are using the financial services, specifically by creating relationships for specific needs and to provide services that offer alternatives for banking. The concept is followed by social responsibility, including giving to foundations, microfinancing and services that are used for asset building by individuals (Citi Bank, 2011). The approach which Citi Bank has toward financial services is one which has led it into being one of the top recognized banks globally.
