Hi Need To Submit A 1250 Words Essay On The Topic Pop Culture The Print And The

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic Pop-culture.

The print and the electronic media, entertainment tools like music and television, have done absolute justice to the job of brainwashing the impressionable minds of youth. Traditional culture and ideology have traditionally been the binding forces of the society, but in the contemporary age, spirit of the youth is being systematically destroyed by the onslaught of popular culture. The traditionalists and the modernists are permanently at war over approaches to social issues. While the modernists are positive that their endeavors are directed at development of a new society, the traditionalists lament about the steady demise of the indigenous values. A world of interconnectedness is slowly emerging and no one can precisely estimate how circumstances would shape up in the future. However, a strong view prevails that this interconnectedness is heading toward decay of moral and ethical values rather than leading to the path of cohesion and prosperity. In its attempt to pursue individual happiness, the younger generation has compromised societal values and become distracted and clueless. Ill effects of their activities mostly outweigh their honest dispositions and merits.

An offshoot of the popular culture viz. the growth of Jazz provides an example. Jazz music arrived like an avalanche on the American media and became omnipresent in no time. Its growth was not contemplated, like the spread of greenery in the thick jungles of Amazon. The sapling of Jazz grew as it was watered with the agony of the black people. The roots of jazz can be traced back to the times of slavery when slave work songs were made as ‘call-and-response’ to narrate stories for pastime. These songs reflected the blacks’ internal rebellion against the sufferings and cruelties inflicted on them by the white race. Black people brought with them jazz to the big cities as they started to migrate to Chicago and New York with

Hi Need To Submit A 1250 Words Essay On The Topic The Target The Soldier Thinks

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic The Target.

The soldier thinks what this boy’s parents would go through upon receiving the bad news of their son having been shot (Gloucestershire County Council, para.1).

The soldier is in a state of dilemma. He/she had to shoot that boy because that was what the job dictated, and it was not what the heart wanted. One can clearly note the way he starts to think about the action he had done. The soldier also explains that if he is caught responsible for shooting the boy, he/she will explain to the boy that he also felt pain when he shot him. It was not his will to take that action but he was forced to, so he was too feeling the pain even more than the pain that the boy was going through from the bullet in his body (Gloucestershire County Council, paras1-2).

My personal response to this piece is to encourage the soldier to go on with defending his country and not to give up at the call of his job. The soldier should not get any haunting after he shoots someone during the war, as what he is doing is with good intentions. to defend his country. The enemies he/she is fighting with are not good people as their aim is to cause harm and destabilize that country. The actions of the enemies call for the soldiers to fight them, and this will include shooting those enemies as he works in the firing squad. The soldier should also feel any pain when he shoots because he is doing it for his self-defense. I f he failed to fire, he would be the one who would be shot, and this would have cost him his life (Gloucestershire County Council, paras.1-2).

The soldier should continue doing what his job requires him to do, which, in this case, is firing at the enemies with the aim of defending his country. He/she is not shooting with his motives. An example, shooting at a person because of personal grudges, but he doing it because it is what is right according to his job and the current situation of war in the country

Hi Need To Submit A 1250 Words Essay On The Topic The Right And Labor In America

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic The Right and Labor in America.

The explorers to this study research what conservatives believed about the American unions. This is specifically the ideological instincts, oratorical approaches, and political struggles that conservatives have positioned to test unions as a force in the U.S. economic and political life over the century. Many contemporary authors such as Nelson Lichtenstein try to explain why political disputes are so divisive on American parties, personalities, and elections (Lichtenstein and Shermer, 4).

Authors such as Bruce Laurie, makes a major contribution in The Rise of Conservatism in America to a developing organization of work on the genesis of contemporary conservatism and the rise of the New Right. It intensely validates that if anti-unionism did not undertake the same importance as anti-taxation or Christian fundamentalism, it demonstrated to be vital in its own right (Bruce, 64)

Strong and systematic aggression to trade unionism on the side of American conservatism is not the only portion affected by the rise of conservatism. However, this has been a key feature derailing the national political landscape for decades. To understand and uproot the deep-rooted phenomenon obliges something more than mere criticism. Particularly, in the course of the next few years when there is a labor-liberal struggle to reform of the American labor law, along with the escalation of labor’s inspiration within the Democratic Party, is nearly assured to produce a violent and strong-minded counter attack from those who seek to limit the supremacy and sideline the authority of U.S. trade unionism (Buhle and Georgakas, 64).

The legislative violence on public sector unionism that gave escalation to the chaos in Wisconsin and other union throttleholds in 2011 was not just a response to the modern economic hitches encountered by the government. However, it was the effect of an ancient political and ideological aggression in relation to the trade

In his leadership, President Obama has encountered hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, Japan’s and Haiti’s devastating earthquake, inflation in oil prices and a nuclear threat from Iran, and the aftermath of Japan’s earthquake. In all these devastations, Obama has made sound decisions for the greater good of humanity. During and after the great recession that began after the real estate boom in 2008, President Obama worked hard with his economic and political advisors to improve the living standards of American consumers as well as those of the rest of the essential economies that were greatly affected. He improved financial markets, passed healthcare reforms to benefit even the low income earners and proposed a tax and economic reform to increase employment, increase total revenue and improve the living standards of the US consumers.ii President Obama’s leadership style positively affects how he governs the US. During the economic crisis, many US consumers were in panic-mode because of home foreclosures, rise of unemployment rates and mass layoffs. Obama’s calm and assertive leadership style encouraged many Americans to hope and strive for the best in their lives because measures were being taken to improve the economy that was spiraling. President Obama avoided making hasty decisions that would put the US primacy and global economy in jeopardy. The Federal Reserve issued loans to the government to provide temporary money infusions that would jump-start the economy. People with bad credit history were given loans to repay debts such as home mortgages and credit card debts. The adjustment interest rate was lowered for debtors to repay their loans within the time stipulated when their incomes were increased.

Hi Need To Submit A 1250 Words Essay On The Topic The Influence Of Marxist Theor

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic The influence of Marxist theory in ‘The Devil and Commodity Fetishism in South America’ by Michael Taussig.

aussig sets out the premise of his work as an attempt to interpret what are “to us in the industrialized world the exotic ideas of some rural people in Colombia and Bolivia concerning the meaning of the capitalist relations of production and exchange into which they are daily being drawn.” (Taussig,1983, p 3). Therefore, he sets up the critical vantage point that people in peripheral civilizations have on capitalism and suggests that they may offer valuable insight into western culture. On this basis therefore, it may be noted that Taussig appears to place the primitive people of these peripheral tribes of Bolivia and Colombia in a superior position to observe the western cultures, which in reality are the more primitive because they are based upon the system of capitalism.

Marx introduces the concept of commodity fetishism in the introductory chapters of his work “Das Kapital” as a state of social relations which arise in complex capitalist market systems, where such relations are centered upon the value placed by people on commodities. The significance of Marx’s use of the term fetishism in the context of commodities lies in the fact that in Marx’s day, the word was primarily used in the context of primitive religions, therefore Marx’s relegation of commodities to fetishism signifies the primitive nature of the belief system which lies at the heart of modern society. Therefore, it is akin to an illusory role that Marx ascribes to private property which is often at the centre of capitalist systems.

Applying this, Marx argues that the work of social relations among people appears to be conditioned not by their interactions, but largely by commodities in the marketplace, since it is the market that appears to decide who should do what for whom. As a result, human relations conditioned by the market become so commercial that people become unaware of their social relations and become alienated from their own social activity, because they are so lost in
