Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic Motivation at work.

Thus the organization is able to increase the amount of profits it makes since it increases its level of customer satisfaction and retention (Pinder, 2008).

From the article, it is a clear fact that motivation plays a significant role in fulfilling the promise for personal improvement as well as that of the organization. It is shown in the way that the employees at the WestLake Computing Corporation (WCC) are provided with diversity training programs that help them to know how to work within a workforce that is highly diverse. Usually the small problems that are identified within an organization serve as a greater revelation of the main issues that are affecting the overall performance of the organization. One of this is motivation, which although may appear to be a minor issue is a very relevant component towards the success of the organization. It thus reveals that there is a lot of motivation that still needs to be offered below the surface hence an indication of the high capability contained in each individual to perform extraordinarily. For instance, the employees in this organization are given the details, case applications or examples and regulation to provide employment regulations with which they raise their capabilities in dealing with different situations within an environment with multiple cultures (Pinder, 2008).

The article provides a lot of insight regarding the need for motivation at the workplace in relation to the total organizational performance. It is also encouraging in the sense that it is written on a positive perspective and not with the intention to offer criticisms. In relation to the case, it helps to speed up most important issues within the organization that include the expansion of sales to international levels.

According to the author, it is the organizational behavior class that helps individuals to point out towards some of the solutions

Hi Need To Submit A 1250 Words Essay On The Topic Mgmt 4440 Performance Manageme

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic Mgmt 4440.

performance management lies in the fact that it helps distinguish between employees who are active and those who are actually working and motivates the former to be more like the latter, thus improving the overall performance in the organization. Also, when a customer is rewarded adequately for good work (whether monetarily or through promotions), they are more likely to be satisfied with their jobs, thus increasing the company’s retention rate. Also, it helps align the organization’s activities and the efforts of the employees with the goals of the organization. Employees are more engaged in their work. They look to take on more challenging assignments and enjoy working at their workplace, motivated to achieve the best that they can. This also results in timely and high quality work by the organization in turn.

From the employee’s perspective, he / she has greater motivation to work in that organization. An employee who performs well has motivation to continue doing so and an employee who is slacking off is motivated to perform better when they see a coworker being rewarded. Performance management also drives employees to become responsible for their individual performances and drives a better employee experience in the organization. It makes employees strive for greater success and makes them more conscientious of their work.

The statement ‘Business is behavior’ refers to the need for organizations to adopt a behavioral approach to management systems. This is due to the huge gap between an organization’s technical competence and the performance of their employees due to a poor understanding of social skills (Rana 2). Simply put, unless an organization succeeds in promoting positive work behavior and decreasing instances of negative work behavior among employees, it will never be able to actualize its potential no matter how well it boosts its other capabilities. Its success in business is limited by the least progressive factor which is often

In the first phase (Problem Analysis Phase), the researcher conducts a needs analysis to identify the problem. In the second phase (Policy Creation Phase), the researcher formulates a policy to implement the same within the context of school environment. In the third phase (Strategic Communication Phase), the researcher formulates an effective plan to analyze the effectiveness of the measures adopted to solve the problem of bullying at schools. Worldwide, schools act the role of a social institution which moulds the character of the student community. At the same time, a principal is the supreme authority that is responsible to take apt decisions at critical situations and solve the problems within the school environment. So, principals must possess decision making capacity and must be aware of the different techniques made use to solve problems. In addition, dynamic leadership is essential for a principal to take decisions and solve problems. Within this context, bullying is a serious problem to be dealt by school principals. Thesis statement: The evaluation of the innovative techniques used by the researcher/principal to resolve the problem of school bullying proves that needs analysis (Problem Analysis Phase), policy development/implementation (Policy Creation Phase), and strategic planning (Strategic Communication Phase) can reduce the scope of the same within school environment. Problem Analysis Phase Within the context of school administration, problem analysis phase consists of the analysis of the problem identified by the researcher/principal. First of all, my responsibility as the principal is to confirm the rumors on bullying. I will take initiative to collect information from the teachers who are aware of the problem. Rigby (2010) states that, “First, it must be confirmed that an act or a series of acts of aggression has actually taken place. that is, someone has deliberately sought to hurt or threaten another person” (p.23). So as to analyze the problem, I will inform all the teachers and non-teaching staff to attend an immediate staff meeting. At the meeting, I will inform the teachers that bullying is a serious problem and we are responsible to rectify the same. Besides, I will ask the teachers and non-teaching staff to collect evidence on bullying. In this way, I will collect information from the teachers and non-teaching staff. In addition, I will ask the physical education teacher to be vigilant and to watch the bullies and the victims and collect evidence on bullying. After doing this, I will inform the computer instructor to collect evidence from the students who are victimized by the bullies. One can see that this step is difficult because online bullying is beyond school environment. For instance, the bullies can make use of social networking sites to threaten the other students. Still, the victims can provide evidence on online bullying because they can save their activities on the internet and can provide the same to the teacher as evidence. After collecting evidence from the teachers, non-teaching staff and the students, I will approach the parents of the victims. First of all, I will ask those parents to visit the school and provide evidence for bullying.

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic Radiolab Writing.

His results showed that 91% of the men sampled and 84% of the women sampled contemplated murdering someone. Furthermore, they gave vivid descriptions of their alleged victims, the means to be employed and the precise moments they would execute their plans. For example, a female (aged 20 years) respondent wanted to kill an ex-boyfriend who was apparently blackmailing her with the threat of circulating some intimate footage to people at her university.

One can conclude that the respondents of these studies lack emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to an individual’s ability to understand and control their emotions. It encompasses four components, which include perceiving emotions, using emotions, understanding emotions and managing emotions. An individual must first decipher his emotions in order to understand their source of origin. Secondly, one should use their emotions in the appraisal of cognitive functions such as thinking and problem solving. Lastly, one should manage their emotions in order to influence those of others (Zimbardo et al 400).The respondents’ inability to control their emotions results in the development of irrational murderous thoughts, which impedes their ability to explore other alternative solutions of mitigating the problem. Dr. Bauss friend’s inability to control his anger due to public ridicule by his wife is an indicator that he is incapable of accepting negative criticism, which functions to cloud his better judgment.

Stanley Milgram renowned experiment focused on individuals asked to electrocute ‘learners’ who failed to get correct answers after studying paired words displayed on a sheet of paper. The male subjects aged between 20 and 50 years, were required to electrocute the ‘learners’ each time the latter wrongfully answered a question. The main aim of the

Although the presentation had been created specifically for health practitioners, concerned parties (support family groups) may also benefit from the informative content provided by the radiological information presentation. Pediatric Impact of CT Scan As the aim of presentation centers on radiological awareness in pediatric cases, three main objectives have been explicitly expressed: factors behind enhanced susceptibility of children to radiation in CT scans, the dose-related parameters with radiological imaging, and threats of constant exposure to CT scans. The presentation posits the difference between pediatric and adult cases, as anatomical structure and natural defense of the former is immature compared to the latter. The distinguishing aspects led most experts to evaluate the risks of radiation exposure through formulated dose calculations on children on CT scans. In further demonstration, the threats to well-being of pediatric patients are considered, portraying the odds of engaging in CT scans against its diagnostic benefits. The report covers radiologic basics–the process in cellular damages, calculation on dosage risks, and pulling dimensions that may threaten or save young lives. The presentation sheds light on two cellular alterations associated with CT scan radiation exposure: stochastic (random) and genetic effects. As radiation from CT scans enters the body, random injury to fast-growing cells common in young patients can occur, potentially leading to cancerous cells. As affirmed by Medina, Applegate, and Blackmore (2009), such effect can indeed start the carcinogenesis process through low-level radiation imaging, as in CT scans– enhanced with increments in radiation dosage. Moreover, radiation may target cellular tissues of young patients. The DNA materials contained in developmental genes, as insisted by Brenner and Hall (2007), can be disrupted by radiation outputs, leading to structural impairments–allowing opportunities to turn damaged cells into carcinogenic ones. Although approximating dosage risk of radiologic exposure is established in adult patients, pediatric calculation is another matter. The presentation exhibited the reality of higher radiation dose given to children, despite pediatric dosage estimations. Several aspects are said to affect radiation dose: “number of scans…size of the patient, the axial scan range, etc. “(Brenner &amp. Hall, 2007, p. 2278). By this, body size and structure of patient do make significant difference, where organs’ sizes are slight, with closer distance from one another, and with less surface layers (Frush, Donelly, &amp. Rosen, 2003). More radiation is, thereby, absorbed in smaller organ compartments, penetrating the thin protective layers, and easily spreading to nearby tissue organs of close proximity. In the long run, infiltrations may disrupt organ functions, causing fatal conditions, such as cancer.

Hi Need To Submit A 1250 Words Essay On The Topic Queer Theory Sociology Downloa

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic Queer Theory: Sociology.

Download file to see previous pages…

There is a need to institutionalize the opportunity to serve one’s country regardless of sexual orientation. Contrary to common wisdom, there are no inherent dangers or inefficiencies whenever these gay people are allowed to serve, in terms of military discipline and unit cohesion, as a fighting unit. Considering that the U. S. military is a volunteer army (the compulsory draft had been removed), then all the more reason why all kinds of people should be allowed to serve their flag as long as they are qualified in terms of educational attainment, physical requirements (height, vision, etc.), mental stability and emotional maturity. There is no reason to discriminate against homosexuals when society as a whole has accepted the fact that gays are normal people like anybody else. In other countries, gays openly serve in their military services without fear of discrimination or any kind of ridicule or subjected to some form of punishment or threats of dismissal. U. S. military top brass and the politicians in Washington D. C. should make the repeal of the DADT policy a permanent fixture so that the United States will be in line with other countries like Great Britain, Israel and Canada. Banning them from military service has no place in today’s modern society. The term queer is variously defined as something that is abnormal, eccentric, unconventional and strange with regards to behavior, habits, actions, language and mannerisms. Queer has entered a common usage in the ordinary language as a slur, referring to members of the sexual minorities consisting of gays and lesbians. This word has been turned around on its head and used instead as a source of gay pride and self-identification by this much-maligned community. Anyone who is not heterosexual is therefore labeled as queer (gay or homosexual) which denotes or connotes a hidden fear termed as homophobia. Originally used as a derogatory term, the word queer since the 1980s, has been used in a more positive light by the gay community to include people with other sexual leanings such as bisexuals and trans-gendered persons as a catchall umbrella designation. Today, the queer theory as postulated by sociologists and psychologists is largely discredited. The previous military ban was a carryover of this prejudiced view regarding gays, which it perceived as incapable of doing their duty in combat situations and cannot be depended upon. Queer theory emerged later in the early 1990s as a response to studies made on women’s rights movement and it was first coined by Ms. Teresa de Lauretis at a seminar conference. This theory implicitly accepts the possibility (however remote) that people who act against the norms are considered as queer, in relation to the normative aspects that especially pertains to sexuality. This expounds on the idea that gender identification is merely a social construct that is perceived by the majority to be a duality, such as male and female, man and woman or black and white. It is high time the U. S. military does away with its ban on gays permanently as it is anachronistic. It should modernize its recruitment and human resource policies in tune with the changing times. A Social Construct – gender need not necessarily be bi-polar, in the sense that sexuality is actually formed on a scale or range of sexual behaviors.

Hi Need To Submit A 1250 Words Essay On The Topic Providing A Motivation For Add

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic Providing a Motivation for Addressing Your Topic.

This has really paralyzed the education sector in the whole country. This paper will conduct an extensive research on the causes of this menace and give well-thought and feasible recommendations on how it can be ultimately resolved (Creswell, 2008).

Of course, this topic is quite interesting to me. As an educationist, I am a strong advocate for quality education, which I believe, can not be attained if no adequate funding is provided. For this reason, the federal, state and local governments have been pumping money into all the public elementary and high schools across the country that deserve such a funding. In fact, out of its revenues, the federal allocates approximately 4% of its budget for education (Radin, 2006).

Since these are public resources, they should be properly utilized at all times. For this reason, the government, through its relevant agencies, has been mandated to be in charge of the disbursed allocations. However, with the liberalization of the education sector, various state departments of education have decentralized financial control to the individual school principals and administrators. Under the supervision of the School district Management Boards, each principal has been allowed to identify their needs and develop their own budget. This is commendable since it is them who understand their demands.

Interestingly, school resources are still being misused during each and every budget year. Instead of acting as the custodians of school funds, many principals and school administrators have been robbing their institutions of their resources. They do not use it as planned (Starr, 2014). At times, they are tempted to divert these resources into their own personal uses. This has been quite unfortunate because it has been denying thousands of poor American children the opportunity acquire government sponsored education which they entirely rely on.

According to past records, there are

Hi Need To Submit A 1250 Words Essay On The Topic Prose And Mixed Media Compare

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic Prose and Mixed Media: Compare Where are you going, where have you been by Joyce Carol Oates with its cinematic counterpart, Smooth Talk.

He lies to Connie about his age but as Connie continues conversation with her, she finds out that he is actually much older and so is his friend. He tells Connie that he has come to take her for a ride only, but Connie refuses. Soon Arnold’s temper looses and his charismatic and charming voice becomes threatening and forceful, saying that he will harm her family otherwise. Connie is eventually compelled to leave with him and do what he likes. The story comes to an ending where Connie leaves the front porch and her fate is left mysterious.

Meanwhile, the movie “Smooth Talk”, is based on Joyce Carol Oates’ book “Where are you going, where have you been?” The movie however being a little different than the book, the movie shows the same plot but the end showing that she went with him, came back into the house where Arnold’s side kick friend Ellie was waiting for them. The movie however, also keeps the fate of Connie mysterious. But later it is shown that her mother apologizes and she never speaks of the incident again.

Comparing the story and the movie, the story describes the lead character, Connie’s, attitude so perfectly. While reading the story one can have a picture in their mind about how the girl may look like, but comparing the attitude of the girl in the movie, it is not up to the mark. Connie should have been a little more self-centred as described in the book. Also the book shows how the mother is always very cranky and always poking her nose in Connie’s business, should have been a little more obvious. The mother seems simply a normal mother who wants her child to do chores around the house instead of a mother who always nags about her child having so many attitudes.

Also it is mentioned in the book that Connie’s dad usually stays out and is not stated frequently, but in the movie Connie’s dad is shown at various times in various places

The U.S. Senate passed S. 1023, the “Travel Promotion Act of 2009” (TPA) in September, 2009. TPA calls for the establishment of the Corporation for Travel Promotion as an independent nonprofit corporation to promote leisure, business and scholarly visits to the U.S. In October, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Travel Promotion Act (H.R. 1035), sending this bill back to the Senate for one last vote. The U.S. Senate finally passed this Bill (78 to 10) on February 25, 2010 and President Obama signed the Travel Promotion Act of 2009 into law on March 4, 2010.

This Act calls for the creation of the Corporation for Travel Promotion (now Brand USA) which will allocate financial resources to promote the U.S. as an international destination. The promotion is funded through a matching program featuring up to $100 million in private sector contributions and a $10 fee on foreign travelers who do not pay $131 for a visa to enter the United States. The fee will be collected once every two years in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security’s Electronic System for Travel Authorization. No money is provided by U.S. taxpayers.&nbsp.It is estimated that international promotion will generate 1.6 million addition international visitors to the U.S. and create $1.6 billion in visitor spending annually.

Japan is targeted as one of the major countries for aggressive promotion by the Tourism Industries Office in the Department of Commerce and Brand USA (the newly created public and private partnership responsible for marketing USA implemented by the Travel Promotion Act). Hi, need to submit a 1250 words essay on the topic Prejudice & Discrimination.

According to the study a person’s interaction with an elderly person can be easily affected consciously or unconsciously. From a person’s perceived age social and cognitive competencies, political and religious beliefs and physical abilities are assumed by younger people, these assumptions help people know how to act and look for the right information and remember. From this paper it is clear that&nbsp.ageism is something that everyone if lucky would eventually join. It would not be surprising and inherently offensive when one notices a person’s age early in a social encounter, the way at which this information is taken can be destructive to the older person. Ageism, racism and sexism eventually becomes institutionalised which would then affect hiring decisions, medical care and social policies.&nbsp.Most people get scared of approaching old age, becoming old was once upon a time seen as a natural process, but in recent time ageism is seen to be a social problem. The media shows only 1.5 per cent of the elderly people and most of which the majority of them are in minor roles.&nbsp.After the Industrial Revolution swept through the world more individuals lived longer. This was due to more food production, better medical care, and other advancements that allowed workers to live longer.&nbsp.As workers lived longer, the need to have a retirement for the retiring elderly became a necessity.
