A certain set of retirees try to find a place in the sun, some live the life of an involved spectator, some others move into retreat and some combine these paths of life.

Retirees have an individual psychological portfolio that acts as a bridge to connect the past work life and future retired life. The portfolio includes the individual’s relationships, identity and meaningful involvement in the given living environment (Goodman et al 2006 p.51)

Psychological researches claim that there is a great significance for transitions in adulthood especially in the event of retirement because it notifies the beginning of another phase of life where there is a decline in activities and roles played together with changes in socioeconomic and physical status that can impact the psychological well being of the individual.

There are several perceptions by psychological researches that have evolved into theories over time. A number of theories have evolved about old age and retirement because one single theory cannot explain all aspects of social gerontology. Two theories have gained prominence due to its closer evaluation to demonstrate how intensely held values have an impact on all ageing theories and these theories bring out a question regarding the meaning of retirement.

Disengagement theory is one of the earliest detailed efforts that explain the transition of an individual into old age, in modern society. Disengagement theory views old age as a period when the older individual and the society undergoes a mutual separation as it is the condition when a person retires from work.&nbsp.

The area has a population of 5300 people per square kilometer (Kalman 21). One of the most important aspects that tourists may have interest in when visiting the country is the town’s architecture. Vancouver is the only place in Northern America with diverse architecture where it hosts different styles of building. The Marine building is one of the chief architectural landmarks in Vancouver. Visiting it gives tourists a general idea of the manner in which buildings in Canada were constructed in the 20th century. The diversity is unique and attractive and this is something that would amaze tourists (McDonald 18).

Among the most striking figures in the city is Inusk at the Bay of England. Cactus Club Café is attractive from outside and has a welcoming group of people that tend to the visitors (Alberta). Vancouver Bed and Breakfast is another attractive location for tourists where they can spend the night before they wake up to visit the different sites the country has to offer. Hi I Need Help With Essay On Values Socialization Project Paper Must Be At Least

Hi, I need help with essay on Values Socialization Project. Paper must be at least 1250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

All people are born free of any values and social “settings”, but in the course of their life, since infancy, they are involved in the social relations and thus develop physically, intellectually and socially. The values and norms of the society people live in are absorbed and adopted by them, making them turn from mere individuals into sound personalities. To my thinking, socialization is a process of continuous cognition and learning that allows us to find our place in the world and fit in the immense social system full of its peculiar values and knowledge.

However, this process is impossible without any assistance from the outside – and we realize that, looking at small children who are entirely helpless without the adults’ help. Thus, on our way from a mere individual to a personality, we need help from the outside in order to learn the values, behavior patterns and mechanism of the society we live in. This help is transmitted by agents of socialization including individuals, groups and institutions that create a necessary context for this complex process (Monnier).

First, family is a socialization agent helping to transmit and teach the values and norms typical for a certain society an individual lives in. In fact, as the process of socialization and values adoption can be divided into primary and secondary stages, family as the immediate surroundings of a growing child plays a key role in the primary stage of socialization. Within the family, a child is perceived unconditionally – parents ensure emotional support, protection and care for him or her in the period of life when no one else offers equal support, except them.

As the primary stage of socialization, the life of a child is dominated by a mother who is normally an immediate teacher for him/her. Thus, the most elementary settings are transmitted by the mother who teaches to

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Value Of Segmenting Targeting And Positioning From

Hi, I need help with essay on Value of Segmenting, Targeting and Positioning from a companys perspective. Paper must be at least 750 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

All these steps are highly dependent on each other. Segmenting, targeting and positioning commonly called STP means establishing relationships with the right customers. Usually companies do this process in order to select the most suitable segment of the market in which they can perform their best. Another author has described these STP activities as the tool of communicating the personalized message to the relevant customers or the audience (Hanlon 2013).

Segmenting means the process of dividing the whole potential market into certain divisions and segments on the basis of their needs, nature, purchasing power and many other characteristics. At first the market is divided and then every segment’s profile is made on the basis of their characteristics. There are a variety of factors which can be used as a segmentation base. These factors may include geographical base, demographics, psychographic and behavioral factors. Lifestyles, social classes and differences in personalities are certain other sub-factors which are important for the market researchers. Due to advancement in marketing techniques the segmentation bases has also been modified now (McAllister 2013). The homogeneity of the market segments makes it easy for the companies to generalize their research for the whole population of the segment (Rudra 2014). According to another author the 5Ws model clarify the process of segmentation i.e. Who, What, When, Where and Why. These all queries regarding customer will differentiate market segments (Richard 2013).

Targeting means the process of identifying a segment which can be served easily. After segmenting definitely a company must not start to serve all the segments rather it would select those which seem to be attractive to be served. It is important here that the selection of target segment is only based on its attractiveness and potential customers. A target market or the segment is usually classified as the set of potential

Thus, the organization competes by ensuring that the standard and quality of its products is high and that the products satisfy the customers wants fully. The organization also competes by promoting its products with the utmost zeal and dedication. This strategy is mainly reached by committing a substantial amount of funds to the sales and marketing department. Effective promotion is also achieved by employing qualified and experienced sales persons.

Indeed, the competitive strategies employed by the organization blend well with its marketing strategies. This is because. over the past years the organization has managed to attract more customers than its competitors by use of these marketing strategies. Taking for instance, despite the wide use of promotions and advertisements by the organization, it still manages to maintain a low cost/benefit ratio. This is mainly by ensuring that the advertisements are acutely economical and that the resources used do not exceed the benefits obtained (Paley, 2008).

The issue of value proposition is also a strategy employed to ensure the organization competes well in the market. The main value propositions offered include promising the customers to improve the value of products, offer a variety of products, and to ensure that high quality is maintained. The value is communicated to customers by explaining the product relevance to them, stating the benefits that accrue after purchasing the product, and finally informing the customers about the unique differentiation of its products from those of the competitors. The organization also makes use of visuals in order to catch the attention of customers and also achieve a better understanding of the promotion. Over the past years, the organization has managed to make a compelling value proposition by communicating the concrete results to customers clearly. The management also ensures that the

Hi, I need help with essay on Valid Arguments. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

If Christ the messiah was not a great person, why does history refer to him in the counting of the years using BC for years before Christ and AD for years after Christ? The challenge of the atheist is not the existence of God but on the reason why they should believe in his existence. Events in the world do not occur as successions or fate but appear to be arranged in a sequential order. For instance, the existence of related species such as the Donkey and the Zebra defies the philosophy of the atheists of the survival for the fittest and the extinction of the species as a result of non-conformity.

In actual sense, all creature sin the world appears to be very unique and complex defying the evolution theory by Darwin. The evolution theory by Darwin states that organism evolved from simple to complex but biology has proved that even the simplest organism or organelle such as flagella is complex in its composition and operations (Narelle 56). According to Christians, fate is a circumstance through which God performs a miracle and remains anonymous. The events in the world are complex such as a baby surviving a plane crash while in actual sense he or she cannot even walk or save her. Such event illustrate that there is a force in the universe that one cannot recognize or accept easily if not by faith. Faith is the substance that creates an atheist and a Christian. To believe in the existence of God faith comes into play while to believe that god does not exist, faith comes into play.

Therefore, it is evident that the existence of God is directly linked with the personal faith and choice. When evaluating the existence of God, it is important to understand the occurrence of events and the link with what atheists believe is fate. If its fate only, why does the fate occur in certain circumstances and not all the cases. Such occurrence proves that there is a supernatural force that control

For example the production department of the organization needs the concepts of marketing for the smooth physical distribution of goods and services (Gilbert, 2008). These help in the solving problem related to inventory control, cost minimization and that too within certain limits. It terms of distribution purposes and is solely responsible for the sales response to the company stimuli and also focuses on target markets and buying behaviour. The inclusion of concepts of marketing in providing specialised customer service helps in the goals and objectives, establish the interdependence of physical distribution and marketing (Gupta, 2009). Hi I Need Help With Essay On Using Relevant Theories And Examples Explain What T

Hi, I need help with essay on Using relevant theories and examples, explain what the Hawthore Experiments demonstrated in relation to Group Norms, Motivations and Leadership. Paper must be at least 2250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Mayo found a general increase in production and in productivity per worker as well as of the group in general, completely independent of any of the changes he made in the experiments. His findings were not in accordance with the then prevalent theory of the worker as being motivated solely by self-interest. It did not make sense that productivity would continue to rise even when he cut out breaks and returned the workers to longer working hours. The segment of the Hawthorne experiments that emphasised the positive effects of benign supervision and concern for workers that made them feel like part of a team became known as the ‘Hawthorne Effect’. The studies were instrumental for the emergence of the human relations school of management and motivational and related theories of worker-behaviour, of participatory management, team building, etc. However, in a true sense the Hawthorne Effect is not just about “positive outcomes”, it is about the absence of any definite correlation (positive or negative) between productivity and the independent variables used in the experiments such as monetary incentive, rest pauses, etc

While analyzing the “amazing” findings of his experiments, Mayo realised that the workers had exercised a freedom they did not have on the factory floor and which had created a social ambience that included the ‘supervisor’ also who tracked their productivity. ‘The talked, they joked, they began to meet socially outside of work’ It is as if Mayo had discovered a fundamental ‘fact’ that seems obvious today, that workplaces are ‘social environments’ and people there are motivated by much more than mere economic self-interest. He concluded that all features of that work environment had social value. This may be characterised as the ‘group dynamics’ of the experiment. When some workers were singled out from the rest of the factory workers, it raised their self-esteem. when they had a friendly

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Using One Example Of A Cellular Oncogene Illustrate

Hi, I need help with essay on Using one example of a cellular oncogene, illustrate molecular mechanisms of activation and the consequences for protein function; for this specific example, also provide information about the occurrence in cancer and any current treatments. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

The oncogene is also involved in the regulation of diverse behaviors of the cell as part of the larger Ras protein super-family. Their signaling activity results in the growth and division of cells, which means that over-activity on the oncogene’s part, will ultimately cause cancer (Hanahan & Weinberg 2011, p. 654). In fact, the Ras oncogene is the most common in cancer with over 20% of all human cancers possessing permanent Ras mutations and 90% in some cancers like pancreatic cancer. Therefore, inhibitors of the Ras oncogene have been studied in the search for cancer treatment.

Ras is a protein that binds guanosine nucleotides and is referred to as G-protein. As with other G-proteins, Ras functions as a binary signaling switch with binding of GTP switching it on, while binding of GDP acts to switch it off. The additional phosphate functional group ensures that the switch regions are configured as a loaded spring at Gly-60 and Thr-35 (Weinberg 2013, p. 115). Therefore, the cycling between inactive GDP and active GTP molecules controls the deactivation and activation of the Ras oncogene. Exchange between these molecules is, in turn, facilitated by GEF and GAP molecules, of which GEF promotes the release of GDP and attachment of GTP to the Ras oncogene. Examples of GEF’s include cdc25 and Son of Sevenless (Bock & Marsh 2010, p. 65).

The GEF protein catalyzes the release of GDP by inserting near the binding sites for Mg+ and the P-loop, thus inhibiting their interaction with P-. Within the P-loop, a lysine group is pulled away from GDP by negative residues, increasing the distance between switch I and guanine, and breaking the contact between GDP and Ras (Bock & Marsh 2010, p. 65). Since there is an abundance of activated GTP molecules in the cell, it predominantly binds to the Ras molecule’s nucleotide binding site. In this configuration, the oncogene has heightened
