“The Arizona department of health was then tasked with the regulation of sales and the use of marijuana solely for medicinal purposes”. In this quote, Donovan uses alliteration as is shown by the repetition of consonants sounds to bring about flow in the sentence. After the Proposition 203 had been approved, specific rules were put in place explaining who was allowed to grow, distribute, and or to use marijuana for the said medicinal purposes. It is vital to note that marijuana cannot be used for every medical condition. The discussion only gets as interesting as it is controversial. Thus, when Scott Cecil, a board member of Students for Sensible Drug Policy, faced felony charges of possessing marijuana for his own personal use, he began to think that the war on drugs was targeting the wrong crowd. According to him, “the incident made me realize that every year. hundreds of thousands of people were arrested in connection to marijuana as well as other drugs. It is wrong as these people had not committed any violent crimes nor were they selling drugs.” In his defense, they were just using the drugs for their recreational purposes. Mr. Scott’s sentiments are echoed by Mr. Dennis Bolkhe, the treasurer for Safer Arizona, who argues that Arizona would be a safe place when marijuana is legalized. Mr. Scott says that “the arresting of marijuana sellers, users, or distributors is completely outrageous and hence people should not be jailed for such”.

This paper will research and comparatively analyze the challenges faced by McDonalds and Starbuck in India and China respectively.

McDonald’s got engaged into the Indian market in 1996. This entry was in a form of a joint venture between local restaurants in both western India and northern India. This entry was expected to increase the customer base for the company. Having used the local partners, McDonald was sure to have little if any resistance in the industry. This is because it was expected that the taxes and duty issues related to foreign companies would be relatively affordable. Whereas this was not far-fetched, several other challenges became of greater concern. First, the political system in India is not so friendly. Even with the local support, the government still find loopholes to overtax the foreign entities even when partnered. The brand duty is exorbitant, and all profits are taxed for foreign firms (Chari, 2013). Further, violent destruction of hotels was also witnessed as fueled by the politicians and community leaders.

For Starbuck, the political system in China is more strict but relatively transparent. From the beginning, industries and activities are either encouraged, restricted or prohibited. Establishing a business, therefore, requires initial certification (Gaff, Choy, & Chan, 2012). Following 2008 poisoned milk scandal, China has enacted more stringent laws on food and beverages companies and Starbuck almost got kicked out of the country only a few years since its entry. This contributed greatly to the loss of competitiveness in the global luxury markets especially in the large cities in China. However, the management sought to reverse this situation by partnering with real estate agencies in the country to establish shops in cheaper locations and closer to people’s residential areas.

Socially and ethically, McDonald had a variety of challenges. The

Hi, I need help with essay on Learning to look. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

For instance, the pixelated image is pushed to the greater part of the lower left corner, leaving a smaller edge on the upper right corner of the image for the print message. A closer look also indicates some form of harmony in the image. For instance, the pixelated part is seen to be the image of a building. To create harmony, the letters on the upper right corner are also fashioned in a way to also reproduce the image. There is also some rhythm in the image achieved through the repetition of the P-shaped figures in the pixelated part of the design. However, the image lacks motion as well as focus due to the fact that it does not have a basic or obvious flow of direction.

The most striking thing about this ad is its lack of attractive colour. The designer uses an image which has been pixelated thus making the image and the whole advert in essence less attractive. In this regard, the advert may be criticised in terms of its ability to attract the audience since people seem to be attracted towards crystal-clear images and warm colours. The advert is geared towards generating curiosity as opposed to any other emotion. In this regard, it has used elements which leave the person wanting to know more. A pixelated image is an icon of hidden details and in this case, it shows that there are hidden details which the individual needs to know. The advert is geared towards getting the individual to log into a certain website and thus its ability to cause the curiosity is important. It offers little detail as to what it is talking about, only giving the reader an opportunity to explore their curiosity in order to guarantee that the audience will be provoked to visit the website. This method is becoming a modern way of advertising because unlike in earlier days, today’s businesses or any advertising parties have websites where the audience can get more information as well as engage them. The context of the ad is also important in deterring the design.

According to the research findings it can therefore be said that Team D was composed of five members with the objective of working together in the Small Groups and Team Communication Module. The group consisted of three gentlemen and two ladies. A number of goals were established for the group. to achieve the learning outcomes of the Small Groups and Team Communication Module. to make the group experience memorable and effective. to practically learn about group dynamics. The first objective was informed by necessity as all members attending the module were divided in five groups. The second objective was informed by the need to enjoy the experience in the group while at the same time achieving the first/main objectives efficiently. The third objective was established after about a week into the module after the realization that the group offered the members an opportunity to visualize what is learnt in theory. Upon analysis and literature consultation, the goals set by the group were not the most effective as they did not meet all the requirements of SMART goal making. specificity, measurability, achievability, realistic and timelines. While the first goal is SMART, the other two goals are not as specific and measurable. However, the group managed to achieve the three goals amid challenges and successes (discussed in the other areas of this paper) while noting that the deficiencies in goal making such as lack of specificity impacted all other aspects of the group. Communication Strategies, Dynamics and Outcomes Communication is a critical determinant of the team process and outcomes in a small group as argued by Rothwell (2010). The author also explains that communication within a group is a transactional and continuous process in which each party is both a sender and receiver.

There are, however, those that have admitted that if they want to be at time annoying they may stay in a mode that is different from the person that they are working with (Van, 2007). For example, when asking for evidence in an argument they might ask for written evidence clearly knowing that the other person often likes to use oral information. A multimodal learning preference can be described as a preferred way of learning new information or material that incorporates several different and diverse styles of learning. The different modes of learning that are combined in multimodal are visual and auditory.

It is imperative to understand that one is a unique learner, and there is no one that learns exactly as another (Pavičić, 2008). However, there exist a lot of benefits in discovering one’s learning style. First all in academic matters, it often gives on a head start and maximizes one’s learning potential. Secondly, it helps one to succeed in college, or university as one is able to understand how he or she learns best. Further, one is allowed to learn more by overcoming the limitations of poor instructors as well as reduce the stress and frustration that is often accompanied by one not fully realizing his or her learning style.

When it comes to teaching it is imperative for a tutor to understand the different learning styles of his or her student. The tutors must realize that all the students have different learning styles that are unique and for this reason they should be treated as such. If the tutor understands the different learning styles of the students, he or she might become an effective tutor because information will be released easily. Research often suggests that each person often tends to adopt a particular approach when studying (Van, 2007). My preferred learning style is multimodal. this is because this learning style is a combination of all the learning styles. It involves auditory, and visual.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Leadership Theories In A Changing Context Paper Mus

Hi, I need help with essay on Leadership theories in a changing context. Paper must be at least 1000 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Dorfman’s statement, ‘If we think of leadership research as flowing as a stream, it flows in a meandering, intertwining and constantly shifting manner’, creates the perfect example of how leadership works and in particular the hybrid nature of leadership styles which borrow from each other.

I am a finance manager for a veterinary university in which I have to supervise and delegate to three or four staff. I also work with other veterinarians and hospital staff at another three animal hospital sites. Dealing with this large and diverse of a workforce in the healthcare system, it was imperative that I already have developed and used my existing leadership skills. “Leadership cannot exist without followership” (Conger 1990). This helps highlight the relationship that is shared between both leader and follower. We work together as a collective and without the followers. there is no need to lead. It is also important to distinguish between the two different types of leaders: the maximum man and the minimum man. The maximum man is the charismatic leader who inspires change and the minimum man is a manager interested in maintaining the status quo (Conger & Kanungo 1998). There are two leadership styles in particular that I utilize on a daily basis: transformational leadership and transactional leadership.

Transformational leadership is a leadership style in which the leader works on transforming the individual by helping develop them. According to Sendjaya and Sarros (2002), transformational leadership can be described that, “it raises the level of human conduct and ethical aspiration of both leader and led”. This means that transformational leadership transcends to effect both the leader and the follower. It transcends the work environment to influence moral and personality development. In particular this comes into play when I teach a new topic or skill to those following me. It requires both patience as well as effective communication skills.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Liquidity Solvency And Profitability Paper Must Be

Hi, I need help with essay on Liquidity, Solvency and Profitability. Paper must be at least 250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

The level of current ratio for any particular organization is dependent on the industry it is operating in. usually the acceptable current ratio is 1.5 to 3. If an organization is able to maintain its current ratio between these levels, the lenders are of the perception that the company has the ability to meet its short term financial responsibilities. If the current ratio is low or in other words, the company does not have enough assets to meet its liabilities, the company is perceived to fail its financial obligations. This ratio is used by creditors while determining whether to provide loan to a company or not. Creditors perceive that if the company’s current ratio is high, it can pay off its debts and if it is low, it will fail to pay off its debts. This is why certain banks require an organization to meet the requirement of maintaining current ratio levels at 1 or above

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Leadership Styles And Motivational Theories For Sma

Hi, I need help with essay on Leadership Styles and Motivational Theories for Small Businesses. Paper must be at least 1000 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Motivational Theories for a Small Business Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs One of the best known motivational theories is known as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. According to Abraham Maslow, human beings have some basic needs which occur according to the level of their importance. The lowest needs in the hierarchy of needs that must be met first include food, water, air, sleep, and sex. The next level after the first hierarchy involves needs such as safety and security, followed by other social needs such as self-esteem. The highest level in the hierarch has self-actualization needs (Hatten 2011, p. 415). Small business entrepreneurs should be aware that their workers will not always demand these needs in a similar manner and in the same order. There are instances whereby employees will be at different levels of needs in different instances. However, sometimes the needs may occur simultaneously. To cater to the varying employee needs, a variety of ways to motivate their behavior are required. For instance, the use of money to motivate employees can pose challenges at the work place. In most small business environments, money is seen as providing basic physiological needs but not being important for the employee to achieve other needs in the hierarchy. …

ow’s theory helps entrepreneurs to learn that in the process of motivating their employees, they should recognize that people have needs that arise suddenly and continue to require attention until they are satisfied. Employees can have lower end needs that must be met before they concentrate on a higher level need. Employees must have good food, water and air before they begin to achieve social needs at the workplace. Socialization at the workplace cannot be attained when the lower end needs in the hierarchy, which are important, are not met (Miner 2007, p. 27). Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene Theory Another important theory of motivation in the small businesses is known as Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene Theory. Small business entrepreneurs can benefit from this theory since it states that the factors that produce job satisfaction are not the same as those that motivate employees to excel. Herzberg referred to the factors that cause employees to feel good about their job as job hygiene factors. Job hygiene factors such as safe working conditions and reasonable pay should be met at the workplace. In addition, the presence of these factors leads to contentment among employees but may not motivate them to excel. True motivation at workplace may require factors such as recognition, advancement, or job enrichment (Hatten 2011, p. 415). The most important aspect to consider in motivating employees for the small businesses is to know what is important to them. For instance, if the entrepreneur avails a motivational reward that is not appropriate to the employees, it may look like a form of punishment (Miner 2007, p. 27). Leadership Style for a Small Business Many scholars and leadership experts argue that leadership is the driving force of any organization.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Licensing And Professional Organizations Paper Must

Hi, I need help with essay on Licensing and Professional Organizations. Paper must be at least 750 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

I decided to work in the Family Practice Clinic, as it will suit my passion of serving all from the young to the elderly who may have different difficulties due to their ages.

Family nursing practitioner roles requires nurses to be registered nurses in order to serve as primary and as specialty health care providers. FNPs work with patients throughout their lives, conducting exams, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medication and therapy, conduct routine checkups, and assisting in minor surgical procedures. Working in family nursing organization requires one to dedicate his profession in serving the patients as their sole care provider while also running own private practices. Offering of these requires the nurses to be well structured, multifaceted, independent, and to have a patient facing mentality (Mason, Leavitt & Chaffee, 2013).

In family nursing organization, advocacy is the cornerstone of the complete nursing procedures. Nurses usually advocate causes, patients, and the profession itself. The main advocacy in the organization, motivated by the moral and ethical principles will be seeking to influence different policies in the primary health care sector. The influence would be through arguing or pleading within the economic, political, and social systems in an effort to promote the nursing fraternity in offering family nursing services.

The aim of the organization is to coordinate care on a large scale among families adhering to the organizational scope of delivering high quality care to the patients. In this case, communication will be the main governing tool. The organization aims at offering patient-centered care, in that the patients would be in active involvement with their care providers in making health decisions.

The organization aims at being all round although the roles, medical treatments, medical duties, and pharmacological abilities in the nursing profession depend on state of licensure. The main roles of the nurses in the Family
