erature” she writes how fiction contains no paucity in critics since everyone considers themselves the authority when it comes to the fiction’s main subject (O’Connor 122-126). As she addresses English teachers, she criticizes the utilitarian approach used while taking English doctorates which assumes that novels ought to do something instead of being something. In other words the fiction side of the author should be brought to light (O’Connor 124-129). From her experience, she says that teachers do not help students in understanding that “business of fiction is to embody mystery through manners, and mystery is a great embarrassment to the modern mind.”

She tells the way her teachers invented ways to “ignore the nature of literature” through discussing history or examining how authors reasoned when writing their books. In addition, she tells how if any teacher was crafty would integrate English literature with another subject like home economics in order to adjourn the novel’s examination day (O’Connor 124-130). About fiction, she asked why people always get novels about freaks and the poor, violent engagement and actions that are destructive while they live in a rich democratic and strong country with generous people on the streets. From the question she denies the possibility of attempts to “separate mystery from manners in fiction thus making it more acceptable in current state.” She writes that a novelist is not required to start with examining statistics but rather with conscience. She closes by saying that the teacher might use eyes whereby judgment is steadfast through seeing (O’Connor 129-134). This means that what one can see cannot be detached from her moral sense. Notably, any novelist as well as the teacher will be charged with deliberate messing of literature disguised in dignity. Therefore, teachers of English should teach the right content rather than create confusion in the mind of their students.

for traffic signals we have light as the signal, in our cars, we have lights for every signal, if there’s something wrong with the engine then a certain light starts blinking to make us aware of the fault.

Today, our world is relying on lights, if we see cities & suburbs both are dependent on lights & their effects. Lights are used to show an airplane where the landing strip is, lights are used in light houses to show ships where land is. We see uses of lights wherever we see.

With the pros of lights we are definitely facing some cons as well, the biggest of them is wastage of useful energy, so Scientists today are working hard to come up with ways to reduce energy & at the same time get proper lighting effects, how we can do that is a different science in itself. Now we see that usage of Energy Saver bulbs is spreading everywhere because they consume less energy but at the same time give equal amount of light which is required.

We also need to designs rooms in a way that light goes to all places of room at the same time we also need to make sure that areas where we don’t want the light to go are the ones where light doesn’t fall. Where we place the light bulb or source of light is also very important in this regard. If the lighting is done properly then it will give pleasant effect to anyone entering the room and if its not done properly then it’ll be stressful for eyes.

This thesis will focus on the trend of lighting design as how lights should be placed, what can be some alternatives of energy. The influence or impact to our environment. And light sustainability. At the same time we also need to achieve the right balance between visual comfort, energy saving, function and aesthetic into the design.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Balanced Scorecard Paper Must Be At Least 2000 Word

Hi, I need help with essay on Balanced Scorecard. Paper must be at least 2000 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Download file to see previous pages…

Essentially, the balanced scorecard is concerned with analysis of four areas including customers, finance, business processes and learning and growth. Managers are usually engaged in collection of quantitative data and then analyzing it with the aim of making appropriate and long-term decisions courtesy of balanced scorecard technique. This paper will analyze five different papers, which have examined balanced scorecard through case studies, primary data collection and as well as secondary research. The papers have good insight on the applicability, advantages as well as the challenges of balanced scorecard in different organizational setups. The study will involve analysis of the aims, methods and results of each of the papers and then a different section will compare their results. Finally, the paper will end by a conclusion, which will explain what I have understood from this study.

Purpose of the study

The purpose of this study is to have a critical analysis of balanced scorecard based on the studies of other authors who have conducted their studies in various settings and using different methodologies. Analysis of researches done in different settings and based on different methods and results will provide insightful information on what balanced scorecard entails, its challenges and application in different organizations….

Using the insights derived from Yin (1994), the authors have researched the manner in which balanced scorecard performance management system has been fruitfully put into practice in two major hotel chains including Towers and ITC Maurya, which are located within the India’s capital. This case study comprises of the organizations’ interaction of 45 several stakeholders. Among those who participated in providing information in this study included the vice president, HR. In addition, secondary sources were examined for more evidence, which included power point presentations used to make communications in the organizations. Also conducted in the study was a cultural analysis that espoused the innovative intervention, whereby 20 employees including managers holding the top, middle and lower level positions were interviewed and the results recorded in an open-ended format. The results of the study show that a strategic and innovative HRM intervention in ITC Maurya leads to a relearning of a fresh performance-based culture and unlearning of the past culture, hence enhancing the successful execution of the balance scorecard technique. Nonetheless, this leads to institutionalization of HR role and the innovative process. The case study also typified BSC implementation in Maurya hotels. However, it is found that HR managers will have a challenge of repeating this intervention in the rest of the hotels in the capital, particularly depending on how the stakeholders are involved in the process as well as the manner in which the intervention involves the non-managerial staff.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Biomasses Energy Paper Must Be At Least 500 Words P

Hi, I need help with essay on Biomasses energy. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Hence, there is increased release of carbon to the atmosphere. On the other hand, the reliance of biomass such as cutting whole tree will lead to a reduced intake of carbon. Most of the biomass is generally received from the forest (Greene and Lyutse 1). Forest is said to play a significant role as carbon sinks. It absorbs large amount of carbon that protects from global warming. Hence, cutting trees as a source of biomass will mean reduced carbon sink and hence more amount of carbon will not be absorbed.

The Kaya concept is an equation used to determine the rate of carbon dioxide release to the environment based on the economic activity of nay given country. The rate of energy use of the country is shown to have a strong link to carbon intensity of that energy use (FREE 1). As most of the countries join the league of emerging economies, it is expected that there will be an increased emissions of products the most significant being carbon dioxide. This is because an increased out put per capita is expected to occur over an increased use of energy. Because of the increase, the concept makes various suggestions to the emerging economies. One of the significant suggestions is for these countries to engage in ways of reducing energy intensity. One alternative for the countries is to adopt increased efficiency in energy use. The other suggestion is to change consumer behavior when it comes to energy use. The changes are said to be real through adoption of ‘green energy’ in the future.

The wood industry is a legitimate player in biofuels due to its heavy carbon content. First, the wood industry has more reliable energy in the name of biopower as compared to other sources of energy that have been heavily used in the past (Union of Concerned Scientist(UCS) 1). The energy is beneficial to society once it is used in a sustainable way. The use of this form of power in a sustainable way means that

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Automated Fingerprint Identification System Paper M

Hi, I need help with essay on Automated Fingerprint Identification System. Paper must be at least 5250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

These automated fingerprint identification systems provide rapid and accurate comparisons with large databases (Tilstone, Savage & Leigh 2006). Most newly built buildings have this system installed in them especially so that only authorized people can enter specific places. In this system, a person is identified exclusively by his or her fingerprints, unlike verification system where ID card or PIN numbers are also required side by side fingerprint identification.

Fingerprints are scanned into the automated fingerprint system where ridge details and other identifying characteristics are digitized in such in detail that the system can find a match among the millions of fingerprints that are available in the database (Lane 2002). This new structure of identification has helped governments in different ways. It is vastly used in civil identification projects like registration for elections, driving license, welfare systems et cetera. Through this system, a government can make sure that no identity theft takes place or one person is not using two identities in order to vote. This kind of crime is quite common all over the world. Sometimes a highly sensitive job requires the employer to check the background of the candidate for the job so that all kind of risks can be avoided. This type of identification check is mostly done for high-level posts in the government or law enforcement agencies.

In the United States of America, this automated system of fingerprint identifications has the entire fingerprint collection from the country and is under the authority of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Other countries also have their own automated fingerprint identification systems which have capabilities to do work like electronic image storage, hidden searches and the exchange of these fingerprints can also take place.&nbsp.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Biggest Challenge Paper Must Be At Least 500 Words

Hi, I need help with essay on Biggest challenge. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

With the vast number of people on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, it is hard not to be distracted by it. There is nothing worse than getting down to some serious study or washing the dishes when a Facebook notification pops up asking if you would like to go to a friend’s birthday party next weekend. Before a decision can be made, the guest list has to be checked (i.e. stalked) to see who is going to be there. If the event is worth going to, then practically every cool person should be attending. Before realizing it, 25 minutes have passed by and studying, or the dishes, has been left far behind.

Despite the drawbacks, Facebook and Twitter are not all bad. In fact, they can be quite helpful in the area of homework in particular. For example, study groups can be formed online and classmates can provide encouragement and expertise wherever needed. In the case of a household chore, mentioning it on a Facebook status update or sending out a tweet may provoke a flurry of responses. The key is to leave everyone also while carrying out the chore and only check the reaction

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Berthe Morisot The Pink Dress 1870 And Young Woman

Hi, I need help with essay on Berthe Morisot, The PInk Dress, 1870 and YOung Woman Sitting on a Sofa, 1879. Paper must be at least 3000 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

However, a woman artist also belonged to this group but was not acknowledged in the art history or by the contemporary critics. She is Berthe Morisot, with more than 400 paintings to her credit.

Most of Berthe Morisot’s paintings apart from her landscape paintings have women in her family as the subject. There is an underlying paradox in the contemporary as well as modern view points and criticisms of Berthe’s works of art and Berthe as an artist. While books on art history do not list her as a major Impressionist, or associate her as a disciple or student of Manet, and her works to follow his style, feminist art and history critics look upon these as essentially patriarchal. However conflicting the views are, it should be considered that nothing else could be a better source of learning the techniques of Berthe’s art than her paintings themselves. The critiques are interpretations painted in different social and ideological colors.

Berthe Morisot’s gender, social status, personal relationships had a huge influence on her as an artist, from the choice of the subject matter to the painting techniques adopted. This paper looks into Berthe Morisot painting technique and compares two of her paintings “The Pink Dress” (1870) and “Young Woman Seated on a Sofa (1879) to deduce the developments and changes in the latter painting from the earlier one. Also, it analyses her art from a perspective of Berthe as a woman, impressionist and a bourgeois. [Thesis statement after finishing the essay]

A few have shown interest in studying the art technique and the social background of Berthe Morisot. This has happened after her works gained international reputation post-death. A close observation of the characteristics of the period in which Berthe lived would be of great help to contextualize her as a woman artist of nineteenth century.

Anne Higonnet’s biography of Berthe Morisot is a significant work that throws light on Berthe as an individual and

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Atkins Diet Paper Must Be At Least 750 Words Please

Hi, I need help with essay on Atkins Diet. Paper must be at least 750 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Some of the popular diets are low carbohydrate diets, low fat diets, correct carbohydrates diet and perfect proportions and careful combinations diet. Atkins diet is one of the popular diets recommended for weight reduction. In this article, the benefits and harms of Atkins diet will be explored through review of literature and critical analysis.

Atkins diet is a type of low carbohydrate diet that was first introduced by Dr.Robert. C. Atkin in 1972 and revolutionized in the 1990s (Goodwin, 2006). The diet mainly constitutes high-protein meats, poultry, eggs and full-fat dairy products. The diet banishes carbohydrate foods like rice, bread and pasta and encourages intake of high-protein, high-fat food. Atkins diet is based on the fact that consumption of carbohydrates raises the glucose levels in the blood which in turn triggers insulin secretion from the pancreas (Harvard Medical School, 2007). However, high insulin levels make the person feel hungry and this again leads to increased carbohydrate intake. Carbohydrate meal is more satisfying and people prefer to eat such meals when they are hungry. The weight gain thus continues. On the other hand, fatty diet is more satisfying and filling and people tend to eat less. Fatty diet does not make the insulin levels surge. Also, diets low in carbohydrate cause dehydration because not much water is released in the metabolism. Hence the body mobilizes carbohydrates from the stores in the liver and muscle. This results in weight loss (Harvard Medical School, 2007).

There are basically four phases in the Atkins diet. They are induction, ongoing weight loss, premaintenance and maintenance phases. The duration of each of the phases depends on the extent of obesity of the person and response to the diet. Most often than not, Atkins diet is recommended in the induction phase during which time, carbohydrate intake is restricted to less than 20 grams per day. Most of the carbohydrates are to be derived from

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Benchmarking Paper Must Be At Least 3500 Words Plea

Hi, I need help with essay on Benchmarking. Paper must be at least 3500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Download file to see previous pages…

Benchmarking is used to compare the processes of one business to the best of the industry or to the best practices from other industries. There may be many dimensions that are measured such as quality, cost and time as per the performance of the business. In the business world, this process of benchmarking is used as a tool to improve and compete with the other better business practices. The management of the business uses the results of comparing their practices with others, and then they evaluate their performance, and how they are achieving their targets to be successful than the others. Performance can be measured in benchmarking using indicators which measure cost per unit, productivity per unit of measure, defects per unit of measure and these results in a performance metrics which is used to compare to the others. Mostly this process of benchmarking is used in strategic management. It helps the organizations to evaluate their process in comparison to the other companies with best practices. It allows the organizations to plan their goals and targets to make improvements and enhance their own practices to increase business performance. Benchmarking is seen as an important process as it continually allows organizations to improvise and enhance their practices. Sustainability in the process of benchmarking: The term sustainability is used in many contexts generally, but when we talk about sustainability in the process of benchmarking, it refers to the sustainable practices which improve business performance. Sustainability allows businesses to carry out practices and strategies in a way that are long lasting and do not have a negative impact in the long term future of the business. There are many decisions and strategies that the business uses up at different stages of its growth, yet there are some important and constant strategies on which each and every practice is based. Once the business starts operating, it has some strategies which are continually being followed by all the members and it soon becomes the organization culture, in accordance to which every decision is made. However, there are some decisions and goals that are temporary or for a short term only such as for a specific project, or in businesses where the nature of work changes according to the projects given. Such decisions are not counted in the measurement of sustainability nor are they important in benchmarking. A sustainable decision or target is that which is long term and influences the performance outcomes of the business. A business will be termed as sustainable when it applies practices that have a positive impact on the environment, its chain practices and the strategic development. A sustainable business is the one which can rely on its practices to overcome any problems occurring in the future (Moore,&nbsp.2008, p. 37). Benchmarking sustainability thus, refers to the processes of the business set out by the management of the business in order to make sure they are better than the other businesses in the industry. Benchmarking sustainability is to ensure decisions, actions, plans and strategies that asses the improvement of the business in comparison to others. It talks about the competitive strategies and decisions taken after the process of benchmarking to improve the level of practices in the businesses.
