Hi I Need Help With Essay On About Lenses Paper Must Be At Least 1000 Words Plea

Hi, I need help with essay on About lenses. Paper must be at least 1000 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

All these have been exemplified well in the analysis segment and discussion segment.

The main objective of this experiment is the determination of the focal length as well as the focal points of lenses. In this entire experiment, two methodologies for finding out the spherical lens’s focal length were chosen. They refer to the lens replacement methodology, and the lens formula methodology. The first method sets basis on the lens formula which is very essential when it comes to this concept. This formula states that there is a linear relationship between, image distance (v), object distance (u), and focal length (f) of the spherical lens (Boston, 2010).Therefore, after recording some variables regarding the object and the image distances, the computation of the focal length will be a very easy task. This can be done using the following formula:

On the other hand, the lens replacement technique has to do with a number of frameworks. For instance. if the screen and the lamp housing are separated from maybe (a) to around (s) cm, two positions between shall definitely be established, hence leading to the formation of an image on a screen. This is with accordance to the concept of reversibility of light. From that point, the focal length can hence be computed using the following formula:

The experiment started after assembling all the apparatus that included. the optical lens, light source, optical benches, lens mounts, as well as the screens. Using the lens mounts, a lens was mounted on a flat surface. The targeted object was then placed at a specific distance in front of the lens. The screen was thus placed at the rear end so as to monitor the reflected image. The object distance was slightly altered with, and based on this, the consequent variation on the image distance was thus determined. The same procedure was repeated with a constant variation in the object distances. The results were the recorded accordingly for further

Hi I Need Help With Essay On An Analysis For Lewis Relection Following The Death

Hi, I need help with essay on An analysis for Lewis’relection following the death of his wife. Paper must be at least 1500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Events involving loss or separation may occur throughout our lives (Lendrum & Syme 2004) but death is a particular form of loss that is very different from the loss of innocence or control, such as in sexual abuse or rape. or loss of status and income such as in retrenchment or unemployment. It is also vastly different from the loss of dreams or ambition such as in the birth of a disabled child. Death is not only devastating, it is final, (Lendrum & Syme 2004) and any counselling that occurs must take into consideration that bereaved persons understand this in different ways.

Different individuals have varying concepts on what death brings, not only to them as the bereaved, but to the person who has died (Walton 1996). Not everyone believes in the hereafter, and that souls are reunited after death. Not all believers share the same concepts about death and resurrection (Duffey 2007). There are many variations on both philosophies. C S Lewis is well known for his Christian outlook, with an understanding that eternal life lies ahead for all souls, but a variety of these concepts exist in the community (Blank 2009).

In addition, the shock of bereavement can give any person a new insight into their long-held beliefs. So allowances must be made. and jumping to conclusions, or making presumptions, must be avoided if possible (Kubler-Ross & Kessler 2007) .Just as C S Lewis had to redress his faith when his beloved wife died (Lewis 2001), many of those recently bereaved experience a shift in attitude – no matter how long they were held – that comes through shock and disbelief.

Initial distress can often register as physical pain (Malkinson 2007). Lewis suffered from osteoporosis, so he was no stranger to pain, but the loss of ‘H’ struck him like an ache from which there was no relief (Lewis 2001). Reaction to the death of someone

Hi I Need Help With Essay On American Security Culture In History Paper Must Be

Hi, I need help with essay on American security culture in history. Paper must be at least 1250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Terrorism activities have been among the most life claiming catastrophes in this century. In America alone which is the world’s super power, terrorism has had an adverse effect especially after the 9/11 attacks and American citizens learnt how easy their security systems could have been bleached by the ruthless terrorist attackers. The constitution of the homeland security in 2002 was the most brilliant security measure that the United States governments could have come up with at that time in order to avert future catastrophic attacks in America. However, as the American government is exploring all available channels to stop future attacks, the terrorists are also working to ensure they exploit various weaknesses in the system and render to such attacks happening again. The task seeks to dig out several issues such as the reality of the terrorist attacks, ability to mitigate them to prevent reoccurrence and the effects on the citizens and security systems in place if they did occur.

America having experienced a traumatizing encounter with terrorism, there is still suspicion and fear that other attacks can hit the American people by surprise. The fact that currently terrorists may gain access to weapons of mass destruction such as nuclear weapons, poisonous gasses, germ dispensers, and computer viruses should be a cause for alarm to security agencies in America. One of the cited loopholes that security critics feel could be exploited by aggressors is in the coordination of The Department of Homeland Security (DHS).The DHS having 22 existing agencies that report to numerous congressional committees and the nagging engagement of U.S public by the security personnel may be seen as a way of intruding their privacy. In a different context that could be seen as a success by the Homeland security but it may be a venue to be exploited by the terrorists is the fact that there has been no attack for almost 13 years

Hi I Need Help With Essay On American Women History Paper Must Be At Least 1250

Hi, I need help with essay on American women history. Paper must be at least 1250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

“Women are seen to have always had a rather influential role in determining the general growth and prosperity of the communities in which they happen to live in” (Taylor and Moore, 2008). Colonial North America is seen to have had two major groups of women, these are the women of European decent and the Native Indian women. These two different groups of women are seen to come from extremely different backgrounds and were affected in diverse ways by the change in gender roles. During the 16th century, European women are seen to have had very specific roles. These traditional roles primarily entailed the weaving of clothes, the preparation and serving of food and the education and raising of children. However, when colonial North American settlers first came to the New World, they were greatly appalled to discover that the Native Indian women were the ones who had been assigned all of what was considered to be manual and traditional labor according to their European standards. The native Indian women were responsible for the rearing of their children, conducting all the various works in and around their houses, the creation of pottery and the preparation of food while the Native Indian men were seen to be enjoying themselves by going on fishing and hunting expeditions, and the building of homes for their families. To the women European settlers, all these activities conducted by women were essentially activities that were conducted by the European noble class as leisure activities.

on the market in the fifties rather than to, say, Equanil or Valium, gains ominous proportions when put in the perspective of a canvas which makes Lowell see the sun as a feared savage and the white magnolia blossoms as “murderous”. True the metaphors are localised and the “rising sun” is symptomatic of the jaundiced imagination of the poet who fears passion and vitality, very much like an Indian savage in “war paint” who “dyes us red.” But what is more important than the intensifying death-in-life existence of the couple as explained by the pun on “dyes”, is the association of this feeling of death with the word Miltown in the beginning of the poem. It is now that the word Miltown no longer remains a torment, but goes onto metonymically suggest such terms as Mill town, mill stone, and small town. It becomes an emblem of the space of doubt, of frustration, of angst that loomed large over the American population at a time when the first effects of a looming Cold War was being felt. The poets state of anxiety is thus immediately seen as true representation of a larger American dilemma, of a crisis that occurs in Small Town or Any Town in the United States. The image of neurotic fracture is intensified in the second half of the line and the dislocation of humankind is aptly shown in the image of the nuptial bed that has been replaced by “Mothers bed”. Lowell seems to imply that this voice of degeneration, of aridity, of being a dislocated whole, is so alike the husband and wife, locked in a social charter called marriage and continuing to feel consummated, exhausted and dead in the relationship. He feels that these shadow lines can only grow larger until of course the marriage falls apart.

In a way, the poem, trying to show the failure of the relationship, is an attempt to question the so-called Christian idea of family and happiness. It seems to make a mockery of the Christian values in a world where Miltown, the tranquilliser rules, and a space where, Miltown the

This was the period when elegant and clever verses, were very fashionable in England, her verses could seem smug at one moment and far-reaching in the next. As one goes through Stockton’s verses, one cannot help but notice the values she establishes and the understated way in which she develops her individuality. Stockton was an avid reader and an intelligent poet. she was able to maintain a fine balance between intelligence and emotions through her poetry.

Thomas Jefferson was well-educated and studied law. He had a wide knowledge of English history and political philosophy. Jefferson was a person of strong ideologies, he stressed that all men were equal and laid emphasis on natural rights, including right for migration, and was against the authority of parliament over the colonies, laid emphasis on ties only with the king. Jefferson wrote the ‘Declaration of Independence’, which was considered as a radical document, which had a great impact on the people of America. Most of Jefferson’s ideologies were reflected in the Declaration, his stress on the importance of the freedom of religion.

This was the main idea for the beginning of the republican society to work, through division of church and state. This was the main cause for the many splits in the many faiths in the colonies. It took a long time to split the church from the state because of the old fundamentals set by England. Jefferson set the movement for freedom in this declaration to give everyone a fair chance to be “whomever they wanted to be regardless of race, creed or religion” (Zinn p.77).

Franklin was a great man with amazing accomplishments as founding father, framer, statesman, ambassador, scientist, dreamer, author and source of simple wisdom. he was a man with a strict sense of values. Franklin discarded the values of the past to create a new structure, which was based

dance and artwork enhanced the participant’s knowledge of Native American culture, especially through the vendors who were eager to explain what they were exhibiting. Since most of the arts have been handed over long generations, it was possible to visualize the Native Americans hundreds of years ago. However, this event was all about the dance and music for most people attending.

Going to the event, I expected a day out enjoying the culture of Native Americans in Phoenix, although most of the Native Americans I know act like me most of the time. The event was more than I expected, however, as I realized that, the Native American culture in Phoenix is more diverse than I thought. For example, there are more than thirty distinct Indian tribes living in Arizona. The congregation of the Indians during their “pow wows” drew me to just how diverse Indian tribes are, rather than the few tribes most of us believe them to be. I expected the natives to be very social with one another, and I was not disappointed. It was possible to strike up a conversation with almost everyone. However, there was no marijuana anywhere, despite common myth that Native American POW wows are not complete without a marijuana smoking session among the old men.

During the course of the event, I learnt many things about Native Americans living in Phoenix. The first one was that the City of Phoenix was a prehistoric settlement of the Hohokam tribe who, however, had disappeared by 1054 A.D., rather than a settlement by the Pima tribe who came later. I was also fascinated to learn that the Hopi tribe in Phoenix had a home led by the mother who was also in charge of the family. As with several other tribes at the event, the Hopi are a matrilineal society, and they trace their families through their mother’s side of the family. I also came to understand why Native Americans wear a manta over their blouses. The manta was initially worn without anything underneath, fastened from one shoulder

He made decisions crucial to war and peace of the nations.

What is significant about this case is not only about the children and schools but also about the human tendency to prejudice people according to their race, color, religion, gender and ethnicity. At that time, racial prejudice was so strife that blacks are not allowed to enter public facilities and to attend same schools. The case is significant as the ruling of the Supreme Court to stop racial segregation of the white and black children became a turning point of the country development. This ruling became the basis for the future legal policies of human rights {Brown vs. Board. 2004)).

In 1954, the Brown vs. Board of Education was a legal protest on the right of the blacks to attend same school with the whites. The ruling of the law in favor of the blacks eventually opened the doors for equal treatment to children in education and to other public facilities. The case became so controversial that even President Eisenhower got so concerned and had to send army troops to Arkansas in 1957 at the height of the segregation crisis. (Almanac, p.554)

The significance of the Brown Case can still be felt until this day. Today, color discrimination is almost non-existent and have accepted the blacks in the society not only in the United States but also worldwide. In fact, the United States have elected the first black U.S.

This report also presents a comprehensive observation of the complex and subtle relationship that determine the success or failure of an organization. With a brief analysis, the report concludes the case, presenting a few suggestions drawn from the study. Introduction According to a 2004 survey by CSC Consulting involving more than 500 Information System executives, the main concern for IS executives is the alignment of IS to organizational goals. Currently, more organizations are embedding information system and information technology functions into their business activities, increasing the necessity for alignment between corporate goals and IS (Keyes, 2005:169). The central focus of this report is the strategic Information technology and Business plan as one of the ways of achieving alignment. The paper provides a comprehensive analysis of GTE Government Systems Corporation and its three-year efforts in developing a strategic IT plan (GTESystems, 2012:24). GTE Government Systems Corporation GTE Government Systems Corporation is a subsidiary of GTE Corporation, a communications giant. The headquarters of the corporation is in Needham, Massachusetts. The principle customer of the organization is the Federal Government, which makes about 80% of the corporation’s revenue. The corporation deals with space and earth-based systems, voice and data communication software and hardware, telecommunication installation, maintenance, and operation of computer-based network systems, intelligence imaging services, and electronic warfare (Cale and Kanter, 2000:1). All these products display the characteristic leading edge technology in image technology, computing, and communication. Fig1: Simplified Organization chart for GSC. Available from http://jitm.ubalt.edu/IX-1/article1.pdf. The corporation has five lines of products that the corporation develops and markets to customers: Communication systems, service sector, Systems Operation, Electronic Defence System, and Service sector. Moreover, the corporation adopts a corporate organizational structure that incorporates vice presidents for finance, legal, human resources, business development, and engineering, as well as their staffs. The corporation runs technically, with majority of the management having engineering backgrounds. In 1991, the company realized $2.1 billion in revenues, but they soon went down to about $1.3 billion in 1994, declining further to $1.2 billion in 1995 and 1996 (Cale and Kanter, 2000:2). The decline in revenues, resulting from decreasing military spending, prompted the management of the company to initiate campaigns to cut costs to ensure that necessary spending occurred due to relevant and effective expenditures only. Among the targets was the IS functions at the corporation. The paper presents the functions of the IS before the cost cutting measures, decision of executives about the functions of the IS, and the planning process resulting from the reorganization (Khosrowpour, 471). IS Prior to Cost Cutting Fig2: Partial Organization Chart before IS Reorganization. Available from http://jitm.ubalt.edu/IX-1/article1.pdf. The IS at the corporation was predominantly centralized.
