Needs Assessment Email Imagine That You Have Recently Been Hired As A Health Pr

 Needs Assessment Email

Imagine that you have recently been hired as a health promotion  specialist at a large company to coordinate their worksite wellness  program. You are the first person ever hired by this company in this  capacity. This position was created by the president of the company  because she recently read an article in a magazine that said worksite  wellness programs can boost profits. The company is doing well overall  financially, but the president has concerns that worker absenteeism,  health insurance costs, and employee morale are affecting profits. She  thinks a company wellness program can help address these issues. Your  supervisor is the director of human resources. He does not have a  background in health promotion and education or worksite wellness and is  relying on you to create their program from the ground up.

On  your first day of work, your supervisor asks, “so, what are you going to  do?” He would like an email from you by Thursday that outlines your  plan to get the program going. You know that the first thing to do is  create a needs assessment to determine where you should focus your time  and budget. You are worried that your supervisor might not support doing  a needs assessment first because he wants to see things move forward  quickly to get results. You decide to write him an email advocating that  you begin by conducting a needs assessment and outlining your plan for  conducting a needs assessment with employees.

For your post,  craft an email to your supervisor describing your strategy for how you  will do a needs assessment in the next six weeks. Your post should be  written as a formal email that you would actually send to a supervisor.  In your email you should:

  • Examine what a needs assessment is and why this is significant to the health promotion and program planning process.
  • Select at least two of the needs assessment methods outlined in  chapter 4 of our textbook and explain how they would be used in the  needs assessment process.
  • Summarize the advantages of using these methods and address any  potential disadvantages or concerns of such methods that your supervisor  might raise.
  • Outline what data you intend to have at the end of the needs  assessment process and how you will use it to determine your program  goals.

Need To Answer All Two Discussion Questions Also Specify Which Answer Goes To W 3

NEED TO ANSWER ALL TWO DISCUSSION QUESTIONS…also specify which answer goes to which discussion question

question 1

For your initial post, you should write two full (5-6 sentences each) paragraphs as described below:

Paragraph 1: As you finish your last module in Modern World Literature, select your favorite story from the readings to discuss in a paragraph for the initial post to the forum. Use your biographical notes from this module, your text, or the Internet to look up facts about your chosen author. Think about the following questions as you make your selection:

  • What is the theme of your story?
  • What was culturally significant about the events and time period of your chosen piece?
  • How did the author use his/her background to craft the characters or setting?
  • How would this story have been different if written from a mainstream cultural perspective?
  • What impact did this story have on your understanding of the author’s cultural experiences?

Paragraph 2: In 5-6 sentences, summarize your ideas and experiences with what you have read and watched (the films) in this course. For example:

  • Did you discover a favorite new author?
  • Were you surprised by any of the styles of writing that you read?
  • What film was your favorite? Did you like having films included in the readings?
  • Which style of literature was your favorite and why? (Select from magical realism, modernism, post-modernism, post-colonialism, minority literature, feminist literature, mystery).
  • You may include commentary on the novel in this section as well as that fits both post-modernism and the mystery genre categories.

question 2

Choose one of the logos above address the following points using the content from Module 6:

  1. Describe the semiotic/symbolic visual elements in the logo design.
  2. Discuss why having visual symbolic and iconic communication in a logo may be a good strategy to communicate visually with your targeted audience.
  3. Discuss why drastically changing the visual elements in an established and successful logo such as Disney, Apple, or Nike, would have a negative effect on the emotion-based trust relationship clients have with the company.

*Remember— Analysis requires that you substantiate your ideas with quotes from academic sources and experts in the field. Analysis without substantiated evidence is opinion. Use your etextbook, another academic article or source, or a career or real-life example to support your analysis points in your initial discussion post to demonstrate your full comprehension of the topics.

Need Someone Good With Statistics And Has The Spss Software Believe It Or Not S

**NEED: Someone good with Statistics and has the SPSS software!!!!

Believe it or not, SPSS is a software that is a lot of fun to use. Some may think of it as a spreadsheet pre-programmed with the mathematical formulas researchers need to generate the types of statistics you are familiar with in research articles (such as correlation co-efficients). As you build your experience with SPSS through this course, remember there are resources on Campus to support your first steps. You may always use the Ask Your Instructor if you get stuck. Let us get started exploring all that this tool can do!

After completing this unit’s readings, review the “Chapter Summary Organized by Learning Objective” section near the end of each Privitera chapter. These pages will provide you with a general overview of each chapter and may offer an additional perspective on learning the materials. For this discussion, answer each of the questions below. Remember to answer all of the questions listed. Answer the questions in complete sentences and number each question to correspond with the question number in the text. Remember to place all answers in APA style, and pay special attention to technical notations and formatting.

Complete questions 19 and 25 in Chapter 1, “End of Chapter Problems, pages 26–29. Provide a rationale for your answers.

Complete questions 12, 21, and 33 in Chapter 2, “End of Chapter Problems,” pages 60–65.

In order to answer these questions, you will need to load and utilize SPSS. It is recommended that you complete the “SPSS in Focus” exercises found throughout the chapters in order to facilitate mastery of the discussion questions.

Hint: Consider completing some of the even-numbered questions as practice too, because the answers are in the back of the book.

Refer to the Copy/Export Output Instructions (in the Resources) to help you copy and paste the SPSS output tables into your discussion.

Discuss any successes, shortcuts, challenges, or difficulties you had when completing the problems.

Be sure to include your output tables in your discussion.

TED talks are organized and highly-vetted public speeches that give normal people—people like you and me—a chance to spread their message to the world. Visit TED.com and watch several TED speakers. Note that you can sort by topic, speaker, and a host of other criteria. You can watch any TED talk you wish. After watching a TED talk (or a few!), write a short analysis of that talk. Please ensure that you cite the talk you watched in appropriate APA formatting. You should answer the following questions in your analysis:

·  What is the topic and who is the speaker?

·  How does the speaker get the audience’s attention in the introduction?

·  What are the main points of the talk? Are they easily identifiable?

·  What techniques of delivery does the speaker use effectively (e.g., emotion, vivid language, nonverbals, humor, etc.)? Please be sure to provide examples.

·  How does the speaker conclude the speech? Does it echo the themes in the introduction and “tie the knot” or does it go in a different direction?

·  Is the speech effective? Did it leave an impact on you? Tell us why or why not.

What did you learn about speech delivery after listening to this speech?
