This brochure should be informational and geared towards understanding a common injury in a sport, and the immediate treatment of the injury.  Identify the anatomy and resulting damage, mechanism of injury, initial first aid response to the injury, and treatment of this injury.  You should also include what are the recommended return to play criteria.  You may also include:  key information, educating about your injury, as well as resources for more information.  This brochure should be able to be used to educate coaches on the action plan and parents about their child’s injury.  Graphics should be used. (The best and easiest program to use to create a brochure is Microsoft Publisher–the second best is Powerpoint.  Use the internet to find examples and/or templates.  Do NOT simply put words and pictures on a piece of paper. In Chapter 2 facilities and equipment are discussed. Injuries often occur because of poor facility maintenance and faulty equipment. These types of injuries can easily be prevented.  In this activity you will consider issues created by hazards common to facilities and equipment used in a sport you would like to coach. Please develop a power point that describes the sport chosen, the type of facility and equipment used, and at least 2 injuries that are directly related to hazardous conditions, poorly maintained facilities, or damaged equipment–do NOT describe ill-fitting shoes, poorly-sized helmets, choosing to not use safety equipment, etc.--these are human errors and not appropriate for this assignment.  You must clearly link the facility/equipment hazards to specific injuries common to participation in that sport. Lastly, describe how you would address these issues (hazards) as a coach to prevent the injuries chosen. The injuries and prevention strategies chosen must clearly relate to the physical hazards described–this connection is the entire point of the assignment. Step 1 Write definitions for patterns of organization.

In a two-page (500-word) paper, write a brief definition or description in your own words for each of the following patterns used to structure the flow of information in a speech: (This is for the first section of your paper that includes at least 500 words.
