Introduction
History is the choice made by humanity through time. These choices have fostered the world that we live in today. In a similar sense, learning does not just “just happen” to you. You must be actively engaged in the learning process by making choices to devise strategies to maximize your potentials, reflect on the strategies that worked and those that didn’t, and modify these strategies moving forward. I want all of you to earn an A in this class!

Instructions
For this journal entry, envision yourself having received an A at the end of the class. Imagine yourself looking back over the class and describe the strategies you used to earn that A. Here are some items for you to consider in your response:

• How often did you log in to class?
• What time management techniques did you use?
• How did you manage the reading?
• What was your plan for completing the case studies?
• How do you think history connects to your profession and/or your life in general?

Assignment: Practicum – Week 1 Journal Entry

As a future advanced practice nurse, it is important that you are able to connect your classroom experience to your practicum experience. By applying the concepts you study in the classroom to clinical settings, you enhance your professional competency. In preparation for this course’s practicum experience, address the following in your Practicum Journal:

· Select one nursing theory and one counseling theory to best guide your practice in psychotherapy.

 

· Explain why you selected these theories. Support your approach with evidence-based literature.

· Develop at least three goals and at least three objectives for the practicum experience in this course.

· Create a timeline of practicum activities based on your practicum requirements.

I participated in the 2nd day of the Leadership development organized by Global Innovative Consulting Networking. 1st speaker Marjorie Lozama spoke about Leadership vs Management, the question was: who is your lader holder?

The 2nd speaker Pastor Fayola Delica (Miss Florida 2019), she had a more spiritual approach to the subject. She pray with the group and we took pictures with Miss Florida.
