Q1. Suppose you wish to test the hypothesis that the number of print media (newspaper, magazine,

(2) Formulate null and research hypotheses that can be tested adequately using a correlation
analysis.

H1: ______________________________________ (p=0)
(3) If the computed t value is in the rejection region (r=.97, p<.05), can you reject the null hypothesis at the p<.05 level of significance? Why? Show your work for t test.
Q2. Design a media effects study for which a correlation analysis is appropriate.

research paper 1737
/in Uncategorized /by developerCreate research questions based on a topic covered in class that interest you. Research and find answers to those questions by using articles from current or past events from any major publication (electronic or print edition) to be your research references. Articles that appear in economic journals or business magazines such as The Economist are good resources. In addition, articles that appear in blogs or newspapers are good sources for further research. Several links to good references are available under the Content and the Announcement section on the class website as well as a sample and guildlines for your research.
The objective of the paper is to summarize, analyze, critique, support (or question) the articles, and relate the articles to your research questions. The paper must show an analysis of a real world situation using economics concepts, framework, and theories to suggest such as what the problems are, why there are the problems, how to fix the problems, what the pros and cons of each solution are, and how it will affect each group of people.
Remember: Your assignment is to write a research paper, NOT a dictionary or a section of a textbook or a newspaper article or a Wikipedia. Use economics theories and concepts to analyze real world economic problems.
Each paper must have a minimum of 1000 words but should not over 1,200 words excluding title, quotes, and references.
Submit in Doc, Docx, or RTF format only. Submission in any other format will not be graded.
Paper#2 should cover a topic from the last half of the course.

phil 150 draft introduction critical essay
/in Uncategorized /by developerThis week we continue to build on our Critical Essays due in Week 7. In this assignment, you will create a thesis statement.
An excellent thesis statement is specific and informative and insightful. It tells your reader precisely what you are going to argue in your paper and why. It doesn’t just promise an examination. Please avoid backing into your thesis by way of a question too. Put your thesis forward in declarative terms.
Please include your list of references (in APA format) noting any revisions in light of feedback provided Week 2. Remember, your references need to be primary references which refers to the works of people who take a stand for and against the issue you’ll consider. This rules out encyclopedias (even specialized encyclopedias) that just give us a synopsis of what the primary source has to say.
Thesis Statement Rubric:
Once again, you are free to select a topic falling under any of the following general categories: (1) Why Philosophy? (2) What is Real? (3) Who Are We? (4) Does God Exist? (5) How Do We Know? (Epistemology) (6) What is Truth? (7) What is Justice? (8) What is the good life? You are also welcome to entertain the question of Aesthetics, specifically, the role of art in society.

1. Using the internet, determine if your state has a criminal injuries compensation fund. If they do not, use a surrounding state. In no less than 500 words give an overview of the program – include funding sources, eligibility requirements, qualifying crimes, qualifying expenses and any other pertinent information.
2. Even though many possible sources of reimbursement exist – court ordered restitution, private insurance coverage, state compensation funds – why do so many victims still fail to receive any repayment of their losses and expenses?
3. Imagine you were assigned to construct a program that would place burglars and robbers in jobs that pay a living wage so they could repay their victims. Describe any objections that you think would be raised against such a program – from the community, the victim and victim’s family, the convicted criminal.

formulate analyze and illustrate a decision situation involving risk and write a report 2
/in Uncategorized /by developerFormulate, analyze, and illustrate a decision situation involving risk. Describe or propose a specific decision situation in which you see away of quantifying probabilities and consequences (i.e., do risk assessment) for different “actions†or “strategiesâ€, one often being the “reference action†(“do nothingâ€, “status quoâ€, “business as usualâ€). Then illustrate the use of a methodology of risk management to arrive at the “best actionâ€. The decision considered may be “terminal†(design, regulation, operating rule, strategy) or “preterminal†(further investigation, inspection, data acquisition) or both. The report would normally consist of the following components:
There is a outline for the report, please use the topic in the “Outline and Toipc” file. More details in the “Project” file, there is a example report for you to compare. I expect a similar report with the example.
