Need an argumentative essay on LEADERSHIP STYLES. Needs to be 3 pages. Please no plagiarism.

Over the period of time, the nature and orientation of the leadership therefore has changed and increasing body of research is suggesting interesting aspects about leadership. The leadership styles can vary and depend upon the ability of the leader to lead the organization and followers in a particular manner.

From the perspective of nursing leadership can be important as it outlines the way as to how one will lead as the career progress takes place over the period of time. It is therefore important for nurses to clearly understand the difference between management and leadership besides understanding different leadership styles. This understanding is critical because it directly have an impact on the performance.

This paper will discuss and explore two different leadership styles and how that leadership style or leader fits in my philosophy of leader. A comparison and contrast will also be made between leadership and management.

Transformational leadership is considered as the leadership which can bring in positive change within individuals to achieve certain objectives. This type of leadership style is often considered as one the most important ways to actually convert followers into leaders by systematically transforming the way they approach different aspects of the organizational environment or their career.

By redesigning the values and belief systems, this approach towards leadership creates strong changes within the followers and therefore makes some important changes in the way they approach different aspects of their life and organization. It is also important to note that a transformational leader is also a moral example for the followers. As such leaders become like role models for improving the moral standing of the followers too. (Roesner, 1990)

Another style of leadership is based upon the notion of servant leadership which is based upon the idea of giving preference to

This brings out a wholesome portrait of the leader’s personality, the relevance of the ideology, the focus of the leader and the ability of the leader to stay current with the situation. Besides, the relevance of a philosophy is contextual, when the context changes without a concurrent change in philosophy it is quickly rendered redundant.

An extension of the philosophy used by these leaders to a multinational corporate context must consider the overall business purpose of the corporation in line with the political, economic, social and cultural factors that come into play during business and the creation and management of excellence

Wilcox’s poem ideates a leader who comes as the right answer at a time when the populace is parched and suffering and looking to someone who cares to alleviate their suffering instead of focusing on personal growth and the furtherance of personal grandeur. In times of difficulty, an individual who seems to provide the solution may start on the right path and get waylaid by the importance placed or continues to follow a steady method of operation without considering the changed context and thereby loses track of the needs of currency. Wilcox’s poem highlights the need for a leader to focus on human suffering and provide hope, strength and kindness. Adichie (Danger of the Single Story, 2009) explains the danger of cultural stereotypes that are formed by unilateral versions and perceptions about different cultures and individuals, the same may be extended to the depiction of world leaders. The tendency to glorify a single aspect of a leader would have us believe in Gandhi as a saint and the non-violence movement as a highly effective means to counter power based government tactics. Gandhi came to a position of leadership when the country was in a state of strife due to the stifling colonial policies that threatened the survival of indigenous resources.

Link lifestyle and what is happening)

In a decade’s time (1991-2001), the diagnosis of self-reported diabetes increased 61% in the US (Mokdad et al, 2003) including a startling increase from 1990 to 1998 among people in their 30s (Mokdad et al, 2000). Accounting for roughly 95% of all diabetes, type 2 diabetes is associated with obesity and weight gain (Mokdad et al, 2001), which is also increased over the same time period. One projection is that the 11 million residents that have been diagnosed with diabetes will increase to 29 million in 2050 (Boyle et al, 2001). The escalating prevalence of type 2 diabetes portends serious consequences for the quality of life of those affected and their families and communities.

To stem the rising tide of diabetes, public health policies need to move upstream toward prevention or at least delay in the onset of type 2 diabetes. A number of scientific studies offer scientific evidence and new hope for curtailing the epidemic of type 2 diabetes with support for intensive lifestyle modification and modest weight loss as effective interventions among adults at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes (Diabetes Program Research Group, n.d.. Pan et al, 1997. Tuomilchto et al, 2001). The transitional state in the natural history of diabetes when impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), impaired fasting glucose, or both are present has recently become known as “pre-diabetes” which affects 12 million overweight Americans between the aged 45-74 years (Benjamin et al, 2003), also raising their risk for cardiovascular disease (American Diabetes Association, 2002). Detection of pre-diabetes is not a goal for most diabetes screening programs (Rolka et al, 2001), but the lengthy development period diabetes, coupled with the potential to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes, offers an opportunity for multifaceted prevention efforts.

Distinct preventive medicine strategies have been presented by Rose (1985) as follows: 1) the

Employees of the organization are also encouraged to be practicing green practices. This is in line with the dedicated areas of recycling such as in the storage of bikes in locker rooms for those employees who cycle to work due to the renovation created. In the process of renovating the warehouse, about 20% of the materials that were used in its construction were obtained from regional products while another 20% comprised of recycled materials. Subsequently, other additional sustainable features of the building include brick walls that are highly insulated, plumbing fixtures that are low in their flow, permeable pavers, sustainably resourced wood, furnishings, and low VOC materials. In other aspects, green practices were promoted through the partnerships that the company has had with The Arbor Day Foundation. In this partnership, every purchase of a toy from Radio Flyer would require the planting of a tree. These aspects led to the LEED certification of the company. For instance, in transporting its products, the company is sustainably conscious through the partnership it has had with the SmartWay Transport Partnership of the US Environmental Protection Agency. thus, ensuring that the movement of their products is done in a clean and most efficient way (Cottrell 25).The organization now attributes the attainment of sustainable green practices to be affiliated to the hiring of new staff. It is considered as a significant selling point for the company in the hiring and retaining of new talent.

Need An Argumentative Essay On Legal Custody Needs To Be 2 Pages Please No Plagi

Need an argumentative essay on Legal Custody. Needs to be 2 pages. Please no plagiarism.

Legal Custody Legal Custody A parent is given full custody of the child so long as it is to the best interest of that particular child. Therefore, if one of the parents does not communicate with the other on issues that favor the child and make the child’s life comfortable, it means that one of the parents who is interested in the child’s well being has a right to be given full custody of the child. However, the parent seeking custody of the child should provide concrete evidence based on the reasons as to why he or she thinks that the partner is not responsible, and provide information showing how and why the parent has not been co-parenting or cooperating in ensuring that the child is comfortable and his or her child rights have been considered. In this case, the parents should agree on the terms required to ensure that the child has got medical cover, and this is to her own advantage just in case the child gets sick or needs medical attention (Maggio, 2012).

In the case of Jacob A. vs. C.H in 2011, a mother who was given custody of the child was denied the request to move away from the country due to the fact that she might have been moving away with a bad intention of moving away from the child’s father. The mother of the child wanted to move away from the country since the father of the child sought custody of the child in court in the year 2008. The mother was thus restricted from moving with the child to Washington and thus, was forced to stay in California. The court believed that it was on the best interest of the child if the mother stayed in California. The court therefore had to give concrete information on the person who was to take custody of the child if the parents relocated to another area. The court assumed that if the mother is allowed to move to another country, she will have custody of the child and will be responsible for all the child’s needs (SussmanLawFirm, 2011). This case is relevant to the present case because a parent who does not communicate with the other on the child’s welfare is said to be irresponsible and thus cannot be given custody of the child.

In another case on Keith R. vs. Superior Court, the father of a child filed a divorce, and the mother of that child wanted full custody of the child, accusing the father of domestic violence. The court ordered full custody of the child to the mother after there were many allegations on the father’s behavior of domestic violence (Fybel & Ikola, 2009). The father in this case did not care about the welfare of the child and that of the child’s mother. Therefore, the court did not give custody to the father because it was not to the best interest of the child. A parent who does not communicate with the other on the issues of best interest to the child should not be given custody of a child.

According to Cornell University Law School (2010), the parent who is given full custody of the child has the responsibility of ensuring that the child gets educated, has a good upbringing, and is provided with good healthcare services. In this case for example, one of the parents is not responsible in providing medical care, as it is the wish of the other parent. Therefore, the parent should not be given full custody of the child, since he or she would not be in a good position to ensure that the child is well protected.

Need An Argumentative Essay On Legal Elements Of A Business Contract Needs To Be

Need an argumentative essay on Legal Elements of a Business Contract. Needs to be 4 pages. Please no plagiarism.

Consideration is the third element in contracts and is denoted as a valuable item or cash, which is presented so as to make the contract more binding. For example, a seller may require a buyer to present the payments for goods if they are to be delivered. The payment is considered as a consideration in this case. However, the buyer does not need to buy the full amount. The consideration is only given if there is a promise made (Boundy 2010, p. 64).

In addition, the law requires that both parties should have an intention of getting into a contract. They must exhibit the awareness that their agreement is to be bound by law. The contract must be made by people out of their free consent without any form of coercion, fraud, mistake, misrepresentation or undue influence. The individuals must be in their right capacity to make contracts. This refers to the soundness of mind, being of the right age as well as individuals not disqualified by law to make any contract. There must be a lawful object of the contract as well as the certainty of the contract. The law also considers the possibility of performance surrounding the lawful object which is the subject of the contract. If it is something that cannot happen, then the law cannot enforce such contracts. Some contracts require legal formalities in form of writing (Boundy 2010, p. 67).

Bilateral contracts are made by two parties after the agreement of terms and conditions while unilateral contracts only involve one party who presents the terms as well as the offer. Unilateral contracts are commonly applied by individuals looking for lost items who offer rewards to individuals who find them. In unilateral contracts, only one person is bound by the law (Boundy 2010, p. 94).

Need An Argumentative Essay On Legal Issues Facing Law Enforcement Needs To Be 1

Need an argumentative essay on Legal Issues Facing Law Enforcement. Needs to be 15 pages. Please no plagiarism.

The decisions taken by police personnel are crucial in the enforcement of criminal law, and eventually for the perpetuation of justice. Police are the first line to intervene in the criminal justice system. Consequently, the decisions taken by them reduce the choices available to prosecutors, judges, juries, probation officers, and parole boards. Therefore, the police possess the power to determine the application of the provisions of the criminal justice system to various incidents (Bell, Policing Hatred: Law Enforcement, Civil Rights, and Hate Crime, 2004. p. 2). There is significantly greater empowerment of the police in hate crimes. These crimes are accorded a different treatment by the police and the charges differ from that of other crimes. Such crimes have very high or low visibility, and some of the hate crimes transpire under enormous public scrutiny (Bell, Policing Hatred: Law Enforcement, Civil Rights, and Hate Crime, 2004. p. 3). Police officers often abuse citizens verbally and psychologically. Citizens feel extremely hurt by the verbal abuse of police officers, who operate under the protection provided by their unquestioned powers. It is an unfortunate lot of citizens to accept such verbal abuse. On many occasion, police officers use profanity in their verbal assaults, in order to belittle and denigrate citizens (Peak, 2009. p. 118). It cannot be gainsaid those police officers breach the constitutional rights of citizens, by their reprehensible acts verbal abuse and profanity. The other activities that violate the civil rights of citizens include false arrest, unjustified detention, and harassment. All these activities violate the fundamental rights of citizens. Legal abuse is commonly committed by police officers, by commencing the intentional search, arresting the victim on false criminal charges and obfuscating the true nature of a search (Peak, 2009. p. 118).

Need An Argumentative Essay On Legal Theory Law Is By Its Nature A Moral Enterp

Need an argumentative essay on Legal theory- law is, by its nature, a moral enterprise discuss. Needs to be 12 pages. Please no plagiarism.

The value system their codes represent, although enforced by the elite or recognised by the mainstream, are all quite frequently untruthful.2 We thus admire individuals who, for the sake of morality, have endangered their lives in defiance. Inopportunely, a good deal of what they declare in their own justification is difficult to believe.

The idea of Aquinas of higher law can function as a point of comparison. He argued that the process of promulgation is fundamental to law, that a law not disseminated by a source is impossible.3 This means that a higher law has a source, which is its promulgator. This particular promulgator cannot be simply a mortal—not if the law under consideration is better and greater than all codes transmitted by humans.4 God is the promulgator, the law He disseminates perpetual. The natural law, which takes part in the timeless law, is a thing that can be understood by mortals naturally.5Therefore, law is naturally moral.

When laws bestow guardianship of minor children to the parent who shows the most potential to further the wellbeing and security of the child, extradite those accused of moral turpitude, they obviously oblige judges to resolve cases morally throughout their legal decision makings.6 Similarly, when constitutions oblige judges to re-examine laws to discern whether they give the procedure that is due individuals, respect the rights of citizens to free speech, freedom from unjustified searches and arrests, freedom to exercise any religion, and others, they oblige judges to make legal decisions founded on moral codes.7 Likewise, once the common law raises tort accountability on whether a person behaved rationally, or once law defends what would otherwise be unlawful behaviour by symmetry of evils justification, judges should resolve cases morally in order to reach legal resolutions.8

Such clear integration of morality by the evident law raises issues for some
