Need an argumentative essay on International People Management. Needs to be 14 pages. Please no plagiarism.

Employees encounter more ambiguity and decreased job security (Coetzee, 2005). Because of lack of job security, the employees too expect the employers to demonstrate their commitment in terms or providing the right work environment like safety and work-life balance. Even change management requires not just effective leaders but committed followers. Thus, gaining and maintaining employee commitment is a challenge that management faces because they need committed employees. The HR functions have to be integrated and this includes recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, remuneration and managing workforce diversity.

Employee commitment has been defined by various authors in different ways and there is no consensus. This force is experienced as a mindset. Commitment has been defined as the basis of an individual’s psychological attachment to the organization (Caldwell, Chatman & O’Reilly, 1990. Jafri, 2010). It has been defined as a stabilizing force that acts to maintain behavioural direction….an obliging force that requires that the employee honour the commitment ….the psychological attachment felt by the individual….or that state which binds the individual to the organization. Thus all the definitions suggest that there has to be a force that directs the individual’s behaviour (Coetzee, 2005). Authors also differ on the various forms that commitment can take. Commitment can be retain their organizational membership or a commitment to support the goals of the organization. Organizational commitment has also been defined as an attitude toward the organization manifested as identification with organizational goals, willingness to exert effort on behalf of the organization, and a strong desire to maintain membership in the organization (Taylor, Levy, Boyacigiller & Beechler, 2008).

Two approaches have been used to define commitment by the

Need An Argumentative Essay On International Relations For Mao Zedong And Deng X

Need an argumentative essay on International Relations for Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping. Needs to be 2 pages. Please no plagiarism.

Actually, Mao Zedong through his Communist Party of China collaborated even with the capitalist states like the United States of America, Japan and many European countries.

Mao Zedong had a great quest for dominance over the perceived neighbors and trade partners like Russia and Germany. As demonstrated by Wang (27), this made him appear resistant to the external forces advising him how to manage the government to find a throughway towards better economic development. In fact, Mao Zedong did ignore otherwise good advice from Stalin who wanted China to become a fully communist state. Mao also appeared to cheer over the death of Stalin hoping that he would become the next powerful leader to control the allied group. This however did not materialize when Khrushchev ascended to power to continue the initial state of power held by Stalin. Mao’s continued opposition against the ideologies of his fellow leaders in the Communist world including Khrushchev soured to the extent of causing withdrawal of China dismissal from the Communist Movement. Mao continually resisted moves and policies adopted by Khrushchev towards defending their members. One such opposition occurred when Khrushchev backed down to Cuban missile milieu.

Deng appears as one of the Chinese leaders who took the revolution vehicle to the right direction. After the death of Mao Zedong in 1976, and his rise to power, Deng repaired their tutored relationship with the international community by denouncing communism and adopting socialism form of rule. Deng went ahead to reconcile with Soviet Union and all countries that surrounded China having he pains of the peasant citizens at hand (Deng 23). In fact, Deng is one lead who contributed to the economic classification of countries as first class, second and third. In the classification, Deng admitted that Soviet Union and United States were in the first class.

tical science, is the study of foreign affairs of and relations among states within the international system, including the roles of states, inter-governmental organizations (IGOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and multinational corporations (MNCs). It is both an academic and public policy field, and can be either positive or normative as it both seeks to analyze as well as formulate foreign policy.” It also referred to IR as drawing upon such diverse fields as economics, history, law, philosophy, geography, sociology, anthropology, psychology, and cultural studies and that it involves a diverse range of issues, from globalization and its impacts on societies and state sovereignty to ecological sustainability, nuclear proliferation, nationalism, economic development, terrorism, organized crime, human security and human rights. (Paraphrasing made)

As to how international relations originated, one cannot avoid talking about the Peace of Westphalia of 1648. It is with Westphalia that e the modern state system was developed since it encouraged the rise of the nation-state and the institutionalization of diplomacy and armies. (Wikipedia-IR, 2006) (Paraphrasing made)

Having a background therefore of IR, we are confronted with the questions: What are the institutions involved? The United Nations assumes a major role in IR as it describes itself as a “global association of governments facilitating co-operation in international law, international security, economic development, and social equity”. Wikipedia, (2006) stated that it is the most prominent international institution and many of the legal institutions follow the same organizational structure as the UN. (Paraphrasing made)

UN has therefore affiliations with several legal institutions which include International Court of Justice, European Court of Justice and the African Court of Justice. It has also affiliations with human rights organisations which include, United Nations Human Rights Council,

Need an argumentative essay on International student as an outsider. Needs to be 6 pages. Please no plagiarism.

The intricacies entail living in a state of confusion since the international students are not aware of the actions to take or their identities. This is worsened when the international find that their proficiency in the English language is better compared to their mother tongues. Aidah is aware of how it feels to seek to honor and respect customs and traditions, while to the same time being considered and branded westernized by the family. Human beings, as you would expect, seek to achieve wholeness and this is extremely challenging when an individual is identified with two cultures that are completely different. Aidah is forced to balance and straddle her being part of more than one culture, and she empathizes with other international students around her how are in the country on foreign visas as the attempt to fit in the learning institutions. In some way, international student visas, demonstrate to the local students, particularly the ones who have to balance between different cultures the same way Aidah does, ways of navigating and succeeding as an outsider, while at the same time being divided. In Aidah’s case, the positives of her double identity are a progressive aspect as she is able to communicate in her native language as well as English fluently. Aidah is able to dress in both the western attire and the traditional dressing worn by her community with ease and comfort and this is the reason, regardless of the confusion created by sharing cultures, she had remained appreciative of having two cultures.

According to this theory, there is no race just color hence race is a social construction. It also argues that there is no gender and sexuality but just bodies hence gender and sexuality differences are socially constructed. When children are born, they are socialized into different roles that define their gender and sexuality and are made aware of the superiority of the male gender over the female. They also grow up knowing that heterosexuality is the norm hence being gay or lesbian is unacceptable. The biological factors therefore do not count in categorizing people and oppressing them but the society constrains individuals to behave in a certain way. However, changing the system may allow individuals to liberate themselves and invent other laws, ideas and social institutions to guide behavior. Feminism movements have been very critical in performing this role especially by eliminating gender differences that are the bases of social inequalities. Women are socialized into believing that they are inferior to men and that their place is in the kitchen although in recent years women have been absorbed in the workplace but still they are engaged in the service sector which is lowly paid. They also take up part time jobs due to their caring role for the family and rarely work away from home. Gender differences are therefore apparent in the society not based on biological but social factors. Aulette explains how gender differences play a part during natural disasters. they disadvantage the females although in isolated cases they also disadvantage men. Wearing long clothes, not learning how to swim, nurturing role contributed to many female deaths during the Tsunami. According to Aulette et al. gender is part of network of social inequalities. No single social category is sufficient to understand social oppression hence gender combines with race ethnicity, sexuality, religion, disability, age, class and nationality to produce social inequalities. Being a woman denies one economic participation and opportunity, educational attainment, political empowerment, health and survival. Combined with other categories such as race, worsens the situation. A black woman is considered inferior to a white woman hence even if one is educated. she still suffers oppression due to race ethnicity. If the woman is a lesbian, even if she is white she is considered inferior to a heterosexual. A man of low social class may be considered superior in his community or household but compared to a white high class woman, he is inferior. One cannot therefore be judged using one social category. rather the categories intersect to create a place for an individual. For example, one may be regarded as a black African female from a middle or low social class and a lesbian. The theory also states that there is no universally valid way to be a man or woman Aulette et al. some forms of masculinity and feminity are more dominant in society hence leading to formation of subordinate or marginalized categories. People are only socialized to believing there is a right way to be a man or woman and if one does not behave in such a way, he/she is out of the norm and becomes socially invisible. People at positions of power are considered to be superior and others should emulate them. However, when they intersect with other social categories they produce new classifications in the social hierarchy.

The study was conducted in Sydney, Australia. The participants in the study were 172 and they were individuals with non-specific low back pain. They received 14 sessions of individualized supervised exercise therapy and they were randomly assigned to receive either motor control exercises or graded activity as a way of establishing the advantage and applicability of the motor control exercises in reducing back pain (Gazzi Macedo et al., 2012).

These two studies were aimed at establishing whether the exercise program could be used as an intervention into reducing PGD and LBP. However, the researchers in the first study found no effect of the treatment program on the prevalence of self-reported LBP and PGD during the time of pregnancy not exceeding 20 weeks. This cannot rule out the program though it cannot be used widely due to the failed positive results. The results of the second study however shoed that motor control exercises and graded activity have similar effects for patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain (Gazzi Macedo et al., 2012). These can be used well as an intervention in the reduction of back pain, LBP and PGD in pregnant women.

Article one shows the details of the study done to establish whether the introduction of a group-based exercise program can be applied as an intervention for reducing Lower Back Pain and Pelvic Girdle Pain in pregnant women before the 20th week of gestation. The results however shows little difference in the two groups which consist of the controlled group and the non-controlled group. The sample size is 257 which consists of pregnant women before the 20th week of gestation.

The Second is a parallel study done on a suburban area in Sydney, Australia. The participants in the study were 172 and they were individuals with non-specific low back pain. They undergo individualized supervised exercise therapy and they were randomly assigned to receive either motor

In the course of discussing my findings, I will include a comparison to the characteristics of adult learning as presented in Merriam and Bierema’s (2014) Adult Learning: Linking Theory and Practice.

The respondent in the interview is female. Her name is Mariam Aleide. She is 27 years old. This is consistent with Merriam and Bierema’s definition of an adult (2014, p.11), where they point out that an adult is one whose age, social roles and sense of self perception define them as such-as adults. Therefore, her identity as an adult, apart from her age, is also a factor of her having multiple roles in society Merriam and Beirema (2014, p.12). For example, Aleide points out that she is a wife, a mother, and has a job as a teacher, apart from being a student. This distinguishes her as an adult as per the standards set in the text.

The economic aspect of Aleide’s life is not easy to decipher. However, given the number of activities she has been a part of, one may infer that she is in a position to afford the various types of education. One the other hand, she points out that her mother had to sponsor her in matters to do with her baby. This shows that there may be a bit of financial struggle. This is predicted by Merriam and Bierama’s work. The roles taken on by Aleide as a wife, mother and student all require some level of financial contribution.

Technologically, Aleide is proficient in computer programs. She specifies that she has a basic understanding of Microsoft office programs. In their work, Merriam and Bierema (2014, p.5) point out that due to globalization, there has been a rising demand for proficiency in computer programs. As such, by gaining basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, Aleide is on consistency with ideas of the text. she incorporates the knowledge and use of technology into her learning endeavors. This is reported to ease the learning process, especially since she is a student in a country that is highly

People indulge in alcohol for a variety reasons. There are those who drink to feel high while there are those drink just to pass time and it may not matter to them whether they are high on alcohol or not. There are also a number of factors that may prevent one from deriving the same level of satisfaction by taking in an equal amount of alcohol. For instance taking alcohol on empty stomach may result in one deriving a given level of satisfaction by just taking in less than he would have if he or she had taken in alcohol on a full stomach. Probably, this may be because a full stomach slows down the rate at which alcohol is absorbed in the body (Powell, 2006:14). Question 2 C2H4g + 2O2g = 2CO2g + 2H2Ol Reaction Enthalpy (Er) = Products’ (Ep) – Reactants’ (Ere) Standard enthalpy for C2H4g = -1411.1 kJ/mol. mainly at ordinary temperatures. Question 3 (a) Alcohol behavioral patterns Alcohol addiction may be defined by seven behavioural characteristics experienced by alcoholics. The first stage of alcohol addiction is acute dependency on alcohol. For an alcoholic, drinking is no longer a form of social activity, but rather an escape to quench emotional shortcomings. Nick heavily relies on alcohol to shield his problems as he sees alcohol as a form of escape from the pressures in his life. In the second stage of alcoholism, the indulgence in alcohol begins to get more intense. Often the alcoholic will start drinking early in the day and such drinking will change from emotional anxiety to alcohol dependence. Nick exhibited these symptoms when he starts drinking often at will and at odd hours of the day. As the drinking continues, the alcoholic will start losing control of his/her actions. At this stage, he/she will be overly emotional and experience sudden bursts of anger or violence. Nick at this stage experienced sudden bursts of anger and unexplained instances of violence. In the next stage, the alcoholic will adopt introvert behavior, and thus this stage is characterized by isolation. Often the alcoholic will seclude himself with his drink and avoid contact with other people. Nick experienced this stage when her states that he preferred being by himself as he did not often enjoy the company of other people. As the drinking progresses, the alcoholic will start to display symptoms such as shaking, insomnia, increased thirst and constant drinking. This is the final stage of alcoholism before the addict starts displaying medical problems. Nick experienced these problems before deciding to seek professional help from the support group.
