Need an argumentative essay on Gone Girl by David Fincher. Needs to be 9 pages. Please no plagiarism.
The movie is the screen version of the best-seller by the former television critic Gillian Flynn. The critic Scott Smith wrote about it: “I cannot say this urgently enough: you have to read Gone Girl. It’s as if Gillian Flynn has mixed us a martini using battery acid instead of vermouth and somehow managed to make it taste really, really good. Gone Girl is delicious and intoxicating and delightfully poisonous. It’s smart (brilliant, actually). It’s funny (in the darkest possible way). The writing is jarringly good, and the story is, well…amazing. Read the book and you’ll discover – among many other treasures – just how much freight (and fright) that last adjective can bear” (Smith).
Flynn wrote the script for a movie herself. She says that her main goal was to keep the spirit of the novel. This spirit is gloomy and depressive. Therefore, it is no wonder that the author of movies Seven, The Game, Fight Club, Panic Room, Zodiac, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo David Fincher decided to make the screen version. For now, his only optimistic picture is “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. In all the other works Fincher tells us about maniacs, mental pathologies, etc. Certainly, we shouldn’t forget about his “Social network”, but it also cant be called optimistic. It is interesting that Gone Girl is a feminist and anti-feminist movie at the same time. For example, Fincher’s “The girl with the dragon tattoo” was absolutely feminist. However, as a new movie of the director is in general anti-human, it contains two opposite doctrines: the sacrifices women make for men are great and dramatic, but women also mock at men so much that it depreciates their own sacrifices. The psychological thriller is a genre that is very popular in the modern world, but the movies of this genre are usually very pessimistic. The inner world of every person is dark and frightening, thus this genre appears to be the most difficult and not every director decides to work with it.
.  .  .  .  .  . .Still, there is one thing that makes Gone Girl less gloomy. One of two main characters seems to be too specific, not corresponding to the ideas of an average person. Rothman states: “Gone Girl” is a fantasy, of course, and it takes place in a dream world, not reality. Leaving the theatre, you have to ask yourself how connected these ideas are in real life. And you can’t miss the fact that, fundamentally, “Gone Girl” is a farce. There is no .real .crime or horror in the Dunne household. Amy and Nick hurt one another, but in unexceptional ways. Nick’s affair with a sexy student – Emily Ratajkowski, of the “Blurred Lines” music video – is played for comedy. In fact, it’s the creation of a heightened atmosphere of suspicion around those banal “crimes” that leads, eventually, to the real ones. Maybe “Gone Girl” is just playing around-making up, rather than finding, connections within our imaginative lives”. The movie is a fantasy. therefore, it is not necessary to make frightening generalizations. But they still can be made. And this really frightens.

Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, the Cuba Assets Control Regulations of 1963, the Cuban Democracy Act of 1992, the Helms-Burton Act of 1996, and the Trade Sanctions Reform and Export Enhancement Act of 20001. When the embargo reached its fiftieth anniversary, there are arguments both in favor of and against it. While some people claim that it is the only way for the U.S to bring Cuba to respect democracy and human rights, some others think that it only hinders Cuba from converting to democracy. This paper argues that lifting the embargo would promote democracy and free trade markets in Cuba.
When Batista was overthrown in Cuba in the Cuban Revolution, the new revolutionary government, under the leadership of Castro, started seizing U.S properties in the island and nationalizing them. As a response, the U.S reduced the Cuban import quota of brown sugar through the Sugar Act of 1948. However, the revolutionary government of Cuba gained support from the Soviet Union, which offered to purchase sugar from Cuba2.
The situation grew worse when Cuba supported the Soviet Union in the Cold War. Infuriated, the Kennedy government extended the embargo measures. During the Cuban Missile Crisis, travel restrictions to Cuba came into force in 1963 and as a response to the Cuban hosting of Soviet nuclear weapons, Cuban Assets Control Regulations came into force, freezing Cuban properties in the U.S. Though the restriction on the U.S citizens from visiting Cuba expired in 1977, it is still illegal for U.S citizens to spend money or receive gifts in Cuba without a U.S government issued license. That is, it is not possible for the U.S citizens to pay airfare ticket taxes at a Cuban airport. In essence, though the travel restriction was removed, it is not possible for U.S citizens to visit Cuba without breaking the monetary transaction rule. However, by the year 2009, a change came as the Obama administration eased the ban, allowing Cuban-Americans to travel freely to Cuba3.

key players in New Zealand Biofuels Market: AECOM, AES, Ag Research, Anchor Ethanol Fonterra, Aquaflow Bionomic Corporation, Biodiesel New Zealand, Carbonscape, Cawthron Institute, Ecodiesel, Flo-Dry Engineering, GNS Science, IPL/Biofuel Testing New Zealand, Lanzatech and many more (Bioenergy Association of New Zealand, 2007). These companies have simple and basic idea and that is to help the environment by relying on the capability of technology to address issues concerning global climate change. These companies have considered innovating possibilities on how to come up with biofuels that are cost-effective, renewable and sustainable aside from their great contribution to minimise pollution and emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. However, there are various concerns in this area which are discussed in this paper. The production of biofuel as an alternative to fossil fuel is a remarkable issue to be investigated further. For instance, it is clear that companies that continuously produce biofuels have wonderful business opportunity amidst the climate change but they are also faced with other global economic and social concerns.
Biofuel is known to affect the economy by indirectly creating impact to other sectors or industries. It is believed that there was an upward spiral increase for biofuel production in international trade and investment in the last few years, but it was linked to 2007 and 2008 global food crisis (Timilsina & Shrestha, 2010). Eventually, there was a problem on this idea in the first place knowing that the production of biofuel will need enough supply of food-based raw materials. Thus, non-food based materials are now widely explored for this concern. The New Zealand energy strategy and policy is a gateway to discover technology that could help the environment especially on the reduction of carbon emission and other greenhouse gases. For instance, there is a new study in New Zealand revealing the potential of growing algae to

Instead, it is referred as the integration of commodities and labor markets among others. It has been ascertained that the nature pertaining to commodities along with commoditization within the global economies has greatly addressed the human societal structure. Further observations have revealed that complexity along with interconnectedness related to the global economy assists in the development of the analytical techniques (Cronon 97-130). In this regard, it has been assumed that these particular techniques will accelerate the trade between the multinational companies. The study related to the commodity chain basically offers solution to numerous globalization problems. It has been defined that “commodity chains are tools that enable one to study the operation of global capitalism beyond the territorial confines of the national economy” (Collins 1-2). The commodity chain assists in having a better understanding of the global connections. It further helps in the distribution of profits amidst the various commodities chain being framed.

The study will focus on evaluating the trend of progression of coffee as a globally used commodity that has viewed a major development within the past two centuries and beyond.
In the era of 16th century, the Muslim coffee industry emerged with the arrival of the Europeans which facilitated in the ‘The Making of a Global commodity Out of Arabia’. It was in the year 1718 that coffee was transported to America from Europe. Correspondingly, it has been observed that the Dutch had forced the Javanese for production of coffee within the Asian colony. Need An Argumentative Essay On Good And Bad Stress Final Needs To Be 2 Pages Ple
/in Uncategorized /by developerNeed an argumentative essay on Good and Bad Stress Final. Needs to be 2 pages. Please no plagiarism.
Professions related to criminal justice are enlisted among the most stressful professions. This is partly because the nature of job exposes the ones involved to all kinds of social and psychological stressors. However, stress in the professions of criminal justice differs from the stress encountered by people in other professions in that the effects of stress don’t show up immediately. In a vast majority of cases, the stress is post-traumatic in type. The highest mean scores of the stressors are experienced by the officers who have been six and ten years of experience in the profession of criminal justice. (Violanti & Aron, 1995). This paper explores the good and bad stresses in the profession of criminal justice.
Sleye (1975) has identified two kinds of stress. good stress and bad stress. Good stress is also known as eustress while another name for bad stress is distress. One of the most fundamental traits that makes the good stress experienced by officers in all professions of criminal justice in general and in police in particular different from the good stress experienced by other professionals is that in criminal justice area, it is as bad or even worse as compared to the bad stress. This is because of the fact that the people belonging to the professions of criminal justice are authorized and empowered to provide people with justice. With power comes responsibility. This is the reason why people get higher salaries and more benefits in the professions of criminal justice. However, the same benefits and luxuries associated with these professions sometimes cause huge burden upon one’s conscience if one is not satisfied with one’s performance. “High points in life can turn into disasters. You feel guilty, you party, you spend, you gamble, you drink, you go into more debt, and these are the times when you start looking to fool around” (O’Connor, 2010). Bad stress in the criminal justice professions occurs because of several reasons which

Need An Argumentative Essay On Good Life Two Additional Philosophical Needs To B
/in Uncategorized /by developerNeed an argumentative essay on Good life two additional philosophical. Needs to be 8 pages. Please no plagiarism.
No one is therefore born good or evil, virtuous or the opposite, because everyone becomes virtuous only by virtue of deed. In fact, for Aristotle, “By doing the acts we do in our transactions with other men we become just or unjust” (II.1). Thus, no one can be called just or unjust unless he proves this through his dealings with his fellowmen. This alone presupposes that what Aristotle meant by a good life is a life of moral or virtuous action towards one’s fellowman.
Moreover, for Aristotle, “happiness” is doing something for the sake of doing it and never for a particular purpose. The Greek philosopher defines “happiness” as the “end of the things we do, which we desire for its own sake” (Aristotle I.2). Aristotle, therefore, gives us a very strict definition of happiness, equating it with something that is desired just for itself. This therefore does not translate as money, career, friends and family because these things are not desired for themselves but for the happiness that they can give us. For Aristotle, happiness is virtue and the only way to attain it is by living the virtuous life, or the good life. The good life is therefore “the good and noble performance of [a man’s function which is based on a rational principle]” (Aristotle I.7). From this statement of Aristotle’s, not everyone can attain true happiness because the fulfillment of a good and noble purpose as a rational being cannot possibly be performed by all people. Therefore, the good life can only be had by those who live the virtuous and noble life according to rational principles. If, therefore, one is a teacher, then he must teach virtuously for that is what a good and noble life means to him, and so this life brings him happiness.
For Aristotle, the good or virtuous life can only be had if one understands the meaning of virtue. According to the Nicomachean Ethics, virtue seeks “the

/in Uncategorized /by developerNeed an argumentative essay on GOOGLE IN CHINA:. Needs to be 20 pages. Please no plagiarism.
The cultural environment prevailing in the country proved to be a hurdle in the expansion plans of Google.
The company had decided to tap the burgeoning Chinese market by setting up search engines in the country. Google is based in America, where search related to human rights will yield a number of results. But it found the Chinese environment to be very complex. Any kind of search relating to human rights is frowned upon by the Chinese government. Since, the Chinese government was not in a position to demand for voluntary restrictions by the company, it jammed the internet traffic. The government also used the firewall technique to restrict access to the search of Google. These had an adverse impact on the company’s operations within the country. The consumers were forced to switch to the local service providers. This impacted the market share of Google. It was slowly losing out to the local rivals.
The Chinese government even blocked the site of the company in 2002. But, this was quickly restored for the fear of public outcry. The company’s operations until now were based from outside the Chinese border. After this the company started giving serious thoughts to operating from within the Chinese territory. Although this meant giving in to the Chinese regulations the company agreed to it as it will save the market of the company from slipping to the Chinese rivals. This can be seen as a compromise made by Google for getting a foothold in the Chinese market. In the underlying sections, a detailed discussion has been done about the Chinese censorship practices and the concept of firewall. The reason for this attitude of the government has also been highlighted. The apathetic attitude of the existing firms has also been talked about. In the end, the merits and demerits of a joint venture of Google with a Chinese competitor has been discussed. It has been shown as to how the company
