Therefore, this is not a valid argument since the premise is weak (Bouwsma 141).
.The second argument states that if we are able to detect the deception through the five senses, then we are not deceived about the world around. Bouwsma states that if the evil genius decides to deceive us and we do not notice, we will be deceived. For instance, if he misleads us in to thinking that everything that exists in nature such as people, flowers, and trees is mere paper, we will be deceived if we do not use the five senses. This is because the evil genius uses illusions by making things look and sound like the real things. He creates illusions because he knows they will easily make us mistake things for what they are not. thus, deceiving us. Bouwsma (144) gives an example of Tom, who experiences the illusion that everything around him is just paper. However, tom is not deceived because he to detects the illusion and differentiate the real flowers from paper. The plan of the evil genius was to make paper look so much like flowers that Tom would not tell the difference, but Tom recognized the difference. Thus, if we are able to detect deception using the five senses, then we are not deceived about the world around. Therefore, were can conclude that this argument is valid because the premise is true (Bouwsma 145).
.The third argument states that if we are not able to detect the deception through the five senses, then we are not deceived about the world around. As Bouwsma states, the evil genius uses illusions to deceive people, and for us to detect these illusions we must be able to use the five senses. thus, detect deception. If Tom would be able to detect the illusion in these things, then he would have been deceived. However, according to, the evil genius can detect illusion. For this reason, he sees the illusion and can sense the real thing, which human beings cannot sense. Thus, the

Need An Argumentative Essay On Evaluation Of Intervention Mapping Needs To Be 6

This will be followed by choice, implementation, and evaluation of intervention methods that may pose to change the health-related behaviour. (Bartholomew et al., 1998, 545-563).
If a health intervention is effective leading to change in related health practices, there would be demonstrable change in the determinants and antecedents of health behaviour. Health promotion strategies are closely related to the psychological theories of behavioural changes. These can be achieved in an organised manner through intervention mapping, which had been the result of works of L. Kay Bartholomew, Guy S. Parcel, Gerjo Kok, and Nell H. Gottlieb (Bartholomew et al., 2001), which was published as “Intervention Mapping: Developing theory and evidence-based health education programs” in the year 2001. This was designed to provide a framework for effective decision making in intervention planning, implementation, and evaluation. It is known that health promotion is possible only through an effective health education. Drawing on this, health promotion is a synergy of educational and environmental supports for actions and conditions health-conducive living. Green & Kreuter (2005) have defined health promotion as “Any combination of education, political, regulatory and organizational supports for actions and conditions of living conducive to the health of individuals, groups or communities” (Green & Kreuter, 2005, p. G-4). If these change health behaviour, appropriate evaluation is necessary to ensure detection of these changes to assess whether these conform to evidence, so the health promoters can take a decision at every step of the process of planning and implementation of intervention (Kok et al., 2004, 85-98).
Theory is the pillar of evidence-informed health promotion. Interventions that address the determinants of intervention or change must be evidence based and guided by need (Green, 2000, 125-129). Many authors have concluded that

Need An Argumentative Essay On Evaluation Of The Movie The Dangerous Minds Needs
/in Uncategorized /by developerNeed an argumentative essay on Evaluation of the Movie The Dangerous Minds. Needs to be 1 pages. Please no plagiarism.
Evaluation of the Movie “The Dangerous Minds”
The lead character in this movie is an unqualified and inexperienced teacher who is thrown into a situation in which she has to handle a class of urban black and Hispanic children. Beside the hostile teaching environment, she emerges as a triumphant hero due to her motivated approach. She miraculously rescues her students from their deprived surroundings and builds a sense to believe in them selves. I believe that a teacher plays an important role in shaping the personality of students. However, the teacher’s role that is being played in the movie by Michelle Pfeiffer is far from reality. The underlying message given by this movie suggests that teachers have the ability and skills which they can use effectively in changing the lives of their students living in “non-white” environment. This movie highlights the basic idea that one should take pride in his/her culture, religion, values and tradition rather considering your identity as a “misfortune.” Dangerous Minds represents the struggle of an ex-marine teacher Ms.Johnson in connecting with her students and helping them to reform their personalities both socially and morally. This movie also highlights that how in America the younger generation from different cultural backgrounds feel themselves inferior as compare to white people. In my opinion the message conveyed through this movie is to remain steady on your stance no matter how hard or bad the circumstances turn for you. hope and determination is what help you most in getting through the hard times.

Need An Argumentative Essay On Evidence That Cigarettes Smoking Is A Health Haza
/in Uncategorized /by developerNeed an argumentative essay on Evidence that cigarettes smoking is a health hazard is well-known and yet, every year teens starts smoking for the first time. discuss the important reasons that explain why young ppl begin smoking and describe the health risks associated with this habit. Needs to be 2 pages. Please no plagiarism.
Cigarette smoking is one of the major causes of lung diseases in the society today. Health statistics indicate that the largest percentage of lung diseases such as cancer in many countries is caused by Tobacco smoking. The Cancer Research UK (2013) shows that over 86% of the lung cancer deaths in the UK result from tobacco smoking in the public. Also, tobacco is known for causing pancreas, stomach kidney and aero-digestive tract cancers. These figures show that the cigarette smoking claims the largest percent of lung cancer deaths in this country. The implication of this is that the only way to reduce lung cancer is to launch a strategic war against tobacco smoking in the society. If the government reduces the number of smokers in the country, it would save the lives of not only the smokers but also those close to the smokers (Rao, Aslam, Zaheer & Shafique, 2014). This is the reason why the government in many countries has launched many awareness campaigns to discourage cigarette smoking among the youths who are the most affected in the society. In brief, tobacco smoking is an unhealthy habit that leads to high death rates in most countries.
The youths are the majority of smokers in many countries in the world. This can be associated with the increasing attention to leisure in the world and the consequent peer pressure within the society. Statistics by the Cancer Research UK (2013) shows that majority of smokers lie within the age of 20 and 24 years. In 2011, 13% of the youths between the age of 20 and 24 years were smoking. In each day, at least five youth were smoking for the first time in UK, and mong these were being introduced by their peers. This statistics shows that the youths are the majority of the people affected with this behaviour. This means that the war against youth smoking has not succeeded and that more youths are bound to join in

Recycling of consumer electronics is beneficial because of its environmental and health benefits. To ensure that the whole process is fruitful, Best Buy ensures compliance with policies for hazardous and non-hazardous material handling. It only employs competent employees that are conversant with the recycling process. The company does not accept air-conditioners and refrigerants because their output presents hazardous materials that they cannot handle.
Best Buy has a take-back program as an alternative in case there are no federal or state policies for e-waste. Even so, it observes The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), which governs hazardous waste regulations, in its waste management process. In this policy, they measure factors such as corrosiveness, ignitability, reactivity, and toxicity to ensure proper the recycling and disposal process does not harm the environment.

In this article, there is a focus on policy required in implementing of the death penalty in various parts of the country. Baker notes that the Oklahoma execution is a clear example that something is amiss in the process of conviction. It shows the president of the United States also called for policy review in the sector. I chose the article as it helps in showing what need to be done to balance the view of those for and against the death penalty. The article is of the essence as it helps in showing areas that need policy changes.
Baldus, David, C., Grosso, Catherine, M., Woodworth, George, Newell, Richard. “Racial Discrimination in the Administration of the Death Penalty: The Experience of the United States Armed Forces (1984-2005).” Journal of criminal law and criminology 101.4 (2011): 1227-1335. Print.
The article presents evidence that there is racial bias in the implementation of the death penalty. The authors note that this is well documented in the administration of the death penalty in the United States armed forces in over two decades. The authors rely on three scenarios of racial disparities in the treatment of similarly situated death-eligible offenders. I chose this article as it highlights racial bias in the implementation of the death penalty programs. It is also of benefit as it helps in presenting evidence while the death penalty should be stopped due to racial bias in issuing the death sentences.

In this process, the doctor warns that although the patient will be able to work normally or even run, he advises that the exercise should not be vigorous. The physician plans of an 8-week therapy session where the patient is up to different tests. The exercises are made on a regular to help the patient cope with the pain at the stump area. After the therapy sessions, the patient feels normal and comfortable with his bionic right leg. The physician keeps a true record of each days exercise. On the point of discharge from the therapy, patient A returns to his normal practice at the tracks. After a few sessions on the tracks, he complains of pain at the stump area. This leads him back to the physician with insistence of getting a raw deal. He threatens to sue the physician since he cannot return to his professional racing even after the therapy. Is this claim compelling?
This case is without a doubt related to contributory negligence. This alleged lawsuit stands no ground since the therapist has clear records of all the therapy sessions and the advice given to patient A. The records are clearly documented and therefore the patient lacks sufficient cause for the lawsuit.
To solve this crisis, the patient can opt for a different solution. This is whereby he returns to the doctor so that more therapy sessions can be prescribed if indeed he was not to return full in the race trucks. On terms of legality, the doctor gave the patient a chance to choose. This is based on the principle of respect to autonomy.
Patient B is an old man suffering stroke and has been through therapy. The patient is showing positive signs in terms of response to therapy. After the patient care unit for post stroke patients agrees that no more therapy can be availed to the patients, the family members agree to take the patient back home. However, after a brief look up at the family’s history, the doctor notices that the family

I would need to be thoroughly and constantly motivated in order to best deal with these situations, particularly considering that an emergency demands that I be in top form.
Organization. Organization is important for a paramedic. When you are organized then you can treat patients more quickly. For example: When arriving at the accident spot where 2 people have been involved in an accident, I am first on the spot therefore need to quickly assess the situation and what I can best do to help. I need to determine whom is the most hurt and in which places in order to know who to treat first and who gets treated last. Organization helps keep me and others (my patients or assistant) calm, as well as helping me focus on the most important tasks.
Using support: A person’s injuries might sometimes be life threatening. I might not have time to transport him or her to hospital, making it necessary that I conduct the required life-interventions on the spot. This might be traumatic for me, or the person might die despite my greatest efforts. These and other instances would make it easier for me to have a supervisor and/ or teacher that would assist me (someone whom I can talk cases over with) and family and friends whom I can share the pain with.
Realistic expectations – Since I am the ‘doctor on the go’ and perhaps the only one in the situation, I must be prepared to deal with any possible situation. This could involve: CPR, assisting with childbirth, or using EKGs or X-ray devices.
Reflect on their experience. Experience helps me become more confident and relaxed about my work. On the other hand, if I become too confident I might become too smug and make mistakes, therefore, it would help me to always reflect on situations that have occurred and ask myself where I did well and how I can do better.
Strategic thinking. This means that I need to
