The increasing competition in clothing and Apparel industry has not shaken Zara so much. In that regard, several questions are abounding as to its survival tactics. It is worth to note that the customer base of Zara is significantly large and dominates the better parts of North America, Europe and parts of Asia. The critical aspect of Zara’s survival tactics is attributed to the strategic emphasis on information technology to track customer demands in this dynamic market. In various stores in North America, Spain, and other market segments, the staff constitutes Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) armed with mobile telecommunication gadgets to gather customer feedback and suggestions for relevant adjustments. This has seen Zara become proactive when it comes to customer’s changing tastes and preferences. Regular update of the customer’s data has yielded a demographic characterized by increasing United States, Mexico, Spain, and Taiwan among others. Online shopping introduced allows customers to choose from the variety and even order customized products. Since the largest customer base of Zara products is in developed nations and emerging economies, it is the obvious use of point-of-sale (POS) system gives important consumer behavior data. The innovative management information system that is reflected in customer base trend across the world is set to carry Zara through the mounting competitive pressure from new entrants and dynamic consumer needs.

I will pay for the following essay Zhang Xin. The essay is to be 1 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

For me, the rooster is a fascinating bird (that has stunning coloration of feathers) as it is beautiful and dangerous, at the same time. I visited a friend who has a farm and there I saw several roosters (who scared me to death).

I love the painting as it captures a fascinating moment of a bright fight. I try not to think about the violent part of the fight. For me, the fight depicted is the natural life cycle, which is also a kind of fight. When I was looking at the picture, I understood that it resembles the struggle of yin and yan. For me, the picture contains the very essence of people’s life: never give up and be in constant

I Will Post My Two Questions Question 1

I need help with step by step instructions on how to solve these two problems concerning sampling distribution using the std normal distribution table. I will post my two questions:Question #1: A supervisor has determined that the average salary of the employees in his department is $40,000 with a standard deviation of $15,000. A sample of 25 of the employees salaries was selected at random. Assuming the distribution of the salaries is normal, what is the probability that the average for this sample is between $36,000 and $42,000?Question #2: A tire manufacturer claims that the lives of its tires are normally distributed and will last an average of 60,000 miles with a standard deviation of 3,000 miles. Sixty-four randomly selected tires were tested and the average miles where the tire failed were recorded. What is the probability that the mean miles recorded when the tires failed will be more than 59,500 miles. Use the standard normal distribution table for both problems to assist with the calculation.

Introduction to Public Speaking

Week 5 Assignment

Sales Pitch

This week we’re working on demonstrating how our nonverbal communication can enhance delivery. For your speech this week you need to find a product you enjoy and then sell it!

Once you’ve decided what you want to sell you have to figure who you’re selling to. Submit a short paragraph in the comments area about who your audience is. Be specific!

Research your product and find what your audience needs.

Use enthusiasm and nonverbal communication (such as gestures) to enhance your sales pitch.

A few parameters:

1.     Research your product (any product you enjoy or would want to purchase). What can this product do that others can’t? Why would you need it?

2.     Pick an audience and tailor the speech to them. Why would they need this product? How could this product solve some of their problems?

3.     Create and record a 3-4 minute sales pitch.

4.     Submit a paragraph about what product you picked and who your target audience is. Submit this paragraph in the comments area when attaching your speech video.

Week 6 Assignment

Informative Speech

It’s time to take what you’ve learned from all of your prior presentations and add an element of research to create your Informative Speech. You have to be cautious when choosing an Informative topic, as it’s easy to think an Informative Speech and a Persuasive Speech as the same thing. However an Informative Speech JUST provides information. The most basic informative speech is the kind that teaches us (much in the way the Demonstration Speech taught us) something detailed about a topic with which we are already familiar. For instance, we know George Washington was our first President, but a lot of people don’t know much about his life prior to the military or serving in office. That would make for an interesting Informative Speech.

With an informative Speech, you’ll want to establish credibility by referencing and citing your materials. For example:  “In the July 13, 2007 edition of the New York Times, John Smith said that George Washington suffered from depression as a young boy.” It is critical that you discuss where you found your information in order to maintain your credibility.

A few parameters:

1.     Your speech should be 5-10 minutes in length.

2.     Feel free to incorporate visual aids. This is not mandatory, but it makes for a better presentation, as we learned last week.

3.     Cite a minimum of two different sources for your materials. Do NOT use Wikipedia as a source. Please copy and paste these sources into the ‘comments’ area when submitting or submit as a paper. I will evaluate your sources.

4.     Be sure to have a good introduction, a body that contains at least three main points (with appropriate supporting evidence) and a conclusion that appropriately wraps everything up.

As always, you may draft your speech word for word, but be very careful not to simply read from your paper! We want eye contact and emotion!  Good luck with this assignment and have fun!

I Will Send Additional Details Regarding Assignment Once A Handshake Has Been Ma

I will send additional details regarding assignment once a handshake has been made (Possible essay topics). Must have experience writing research papers. This is a final paper that has to be well researched.

From the Professor:

The essay should be very well focused, concentrating on a specific thesis that is defended thoroughly in each of the body paragraphs. The thesis should be your idea in both its direction and its execution. Keep your idea as the central catalyst for progress. A sample essay would be: “Exploring how certain elements of Blake’s life affect his writing of Songs of Innocence and Experience.”

Please follow the formula from David James “Literary Analysis Research Paper,” which is:

Your ideas + Textual Evidence + Research= Literary analysis Research Paper.

Remember that the essay should focus on the text at all times, you are developing a thesis around your analysis of the text and synthesis of the information you gather during your research, but the focus should be on the text. A minimum of 5 sources should be used. The expectations is that the sources will be used within the essay to back up your points, either by having a critic agree with you. Or demonstrating your control of your topic by arguing against an opposing viewpoint.
