The USA corporate receives numerous and strong incentives to promote adherence to the business ethics and corporate code of conduct from the government. Thus, the USA corporate has the high tendency of establishing ethic programs based on the existing government legal framework, thus making the American ethical culture excessively legalistic (Ardichvili, Jondle & Kowske, 2009). The overall effect of the excessively legalistic American ethical culture is that the American business environment is less flexible, thus creating little room for interpreting rules more loosely based on the situations and the relationships involved. In this respect, ethics does not play an important role in the American business environment, since it is simply geared towards legal compliance (Ardichvili, Jondle & Kowske, 2009). Nevertheless, the American business ethical culture benefits the wider population, due to the creation of a universally and equitable ground for establishing and running the business, by limiting the extent to which the unethical business conduct such as corruption can persist in this business environment. On the other hand, the Chinese business culture is defined by a stronger and dominant ethical dimension, as opposed to strict compliance with the law. The Chinese business culture is largely defined by the need to ‘preserve face’, which then means that many illegal business tendencies are overlooked for the sake of presenting the Chinese business environment as friendly and accommodative.

The government plays an important role in the economy, as is the case in all countries. From the founding of the Republic, the United States federal government has strongly supported the development of transportation. It financed the first major canal system and later subsidized the railroads and the airlines. It has developed river valleys and built dams and power stations. It has extended electricity and scientific advice to farmers and assures them a minimum price for their basic crops. It checks the purity of food and drugs, insures bank deposits and guarantees loans.

America’s individual 50 states have been most active in building roads and in the field of education. Each year the states spend some $33,31 million on schools and provide a free public education for 29.1 million primary-school pupils and 11.4 million youth in secondary schools. (In addition, 8.3. a million youths attend private primary and secondary schools.) Approximately 60 percent of the students who graduate from secondary schools attend colleges and universities, 77,2 percent of which are supported by public funds. The United States leads the world in the percentage of the population that receives a higher education. Total enrollment in schools o higher learning is 13.4 million. (Bureau of Economic Analysis, 2003)

Despite the fact the United States government supports many segments of the nation’s economy, economists estimate that the public sector accounts for only one-fifth of American economic activity, with the remainder in private hands.

I Will Pay For The Following Essay American Family Culture The Essay Is To Be 3

I will pay for the following essay American Family Culture. The essay is to be 3 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

There are a multitude of family forms and family types in America today and family is a social unit in a constant state of evolution. We will explore the different family configurations found in the United States today and will pepper our analysis with comparisons of American family forms to modern Mexican families, the other half of our analysis.

The ‘traditional’ American family is a heterosexual, nuclear family headed by two parents in which the husband is the primary breadwinner and the wife is the homemaker. On the far left side of the continuum of change, the traditional nuclear family model is widespread across the globe and represents a traditional gendered division of labour, both within the house as well as outside of the home. Mexico families generally also meet the requirements for what can be described as a traditional family which traditional gender expectations and values. In the Western world, the traditional model is becoming less and less viable as many families require the incomes of both parents. Women’s increased education and employment prospects have made the transition from the traditional model to the modern familial model more and more prevalent in modern Western society (Bossen 128-133. Roopnarine & Gielen 32-34).

As with the traditional family, the ‘modern American family’ is nuclear in the sense that it involves the cohabitation of two heterosexual partners but differs in that it involves dual earners as both the man and the woman work outside of the home to earn money. While both husband and wife work outside of the home in paid labor, it is important to note that the gendered division of labour within the home of the modern family has not necessarily changed. Women, within the modern family, still bear the brunt of housekeeping, child rearing and basic familial chores. This form of family life is found throughout the United States and has evolved in response to women’s

Berkin, Carol. Making America: A History of the United States. Brief Sixth ed. Boston, MA: WADSWORTH CENGAGE Learning, 2014

This bibliography demonstrates history as a vibrant process twisted by human expectations, tricky choices, and frequently the startling consequences. The book encourages readers to reason historically and to grow into citizens who value their past. The straightforward narrative and clear chronology emphasize communication over intimidation making if very interesting to read.

Berkin, Carol. Making America: A History of the United States. Brief Sixth ed. Boston, MA: WADSWORTH CENGAGE Learning, 2014

This book acknowledges President Abraham Lincoln consideration of other approaches to remedying the menace of slavery during his reign. The book uses various artistic devices to present a bigoted and flawed notion of colonization as a temporary fixture of U.S. As such, the historical book remembers Lincoln as having discarded his backup of colonization when he signed the declaration.

I Will Pay For The Following Essay American Nursing Association The Essay Is To

I will pay for the following essay American Nursing Association. The essay is to be 3 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

Considering that the baby is in critical condition already and on the ventilator, my response would be to tell the mother that taking the baby off of its support systems would not be a good idea at this time.&nbsp. I would tell her that she might be able to hold the baby later, depending on what everybody decides.

In my opinion, to keep the baby safe at this point, it needs to be kept away from the mother. She has clearly only harmed the baby up until this point, and my decision is for the baby’s own health and safety. Furthermore, until social services make a decision, it is important to make sure the mother does not have a chance to do any further harm to her baby.

There are a few ethical principles in action in this case. First, there is the right of mothers to be able to spend time with their children. Generally, after a mother has given birth to a baby, she will be allowed to hold it, as long as it is seen as acceptable to the child’s state of health. In this case, though, the baby is not necessarily in a healthy condition, and the mother, herself, has caused the harm to the baby, so the best thing to do is to actually keep her away from the baby. Another ethical conflict is the fact that the mother did tell me and nobody else about her use of the drugs. Ultimately, as a nurse, I would be required to report this to social services or I could also be held liable, but it is certain that the mother did not know that and probably did not wish me to tell others. However, this kind of secret cannot be kept because it has to do with the child’s health.

I do not feel that this situation permits for utilitarianism. Utilitarianism means picking the outcome that causes the most happiness for all of those involved.&nbsp.

t 2010) article discussing the same report indicated similar positive indicators and speculated on the nature of the connection between the economy and the unemployment figures. It attributed the lowered rates to both the general flux of the economy, and the most recent stimulus package. It states that, “All the well-known private economic research firms estimate that it’s had a huge impact. IHS Global Insight, for instance, says the economy has about 1.7 million more jobs today than it would have had without the stimulus.”

While one would conceivably believe this to be indicative of a recovering economy a number of researchers argue that the percentage change is not as beneficial as observers might believe. Cook (2010) discusses that overall the unemployment rate remains awful, “men (10 percent), teenagers (26.4 percent), African-Americans (16.5 percent), and Hispanics (12.6 percent).” Other negative indicators are that the number of people who have been unemployed for 27 weeks or more has actually increased with this report, and that the amount of people who have stopped looking for work has increased to over 1 million, from the 500,000 figure of last year. It is also estimated that for the economy to keep pace with population growth, and the unemployment numbers to at least remain stable, the country would have to produce more than 140,000 new jobs per month (Leonhardt 2010). Other researchers state that the findings also indicate that the recession is worse than was originally assumed. The New York Times (Leonhardt 2010) stated that the reports indicate the economy had 1.4 million fewer jobs last year than was originally reported.

An Economist (2010) article points out that even when the economy begins to recover certain job sectors may never see pre-recession employment figures. It argues that, “The past decade’s jobs in retail and in entertainment were largely supported by household borrowing. Not only is a new wave of borrowing unlikely to

I Will Pay For The Following Essay An Argument Against Platos Mimesis The Essay

I will pay for the following essay An Argument Against Platos Mimesis. The essay is to be 8 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

The reason Plato did not appreciate the value of literature was because it could not supply us with knowledge. Plato believed in what he referred to as true forms. Every object or idea had a true form counterpart, and all people had some innate sense of these forms. This was how Plato explained how we knew what a tree was. In other words, somewhere in the universe exists the true form of a tree in its most pure form, and we as humans all had some innate sense of what a tree is, and because we have an innate sense of what a tree is because of the true form, we are able to recognize a tree when we see it. The idea of true forms also pertained to notions such as justice, honor, beauty, and other intangibles. The way he applied this to literature was that he felt that literature merely was able to create a reflection, an imitation, of something like justice. Because it was merely creating an imitation, it was inferior to the true form, and because of this it was not able to supply us with true knowledge.

Also, Plato argued against poets having any real knowledge of the true forms because of their actions. According to this argument, Plato stated that if poetry were to have a real sense or representation of, for instance, justice, then the poet would have to have real knowledge of the true form of justice. If, according to Plato, these poets had a real sense of the true form of justice, then they would not write poetry, which appeals to the emotions and leads people to an unhappy life. Rather, they would choose a course of action in their lives that would lead to this sense of the true form of justice being carried out.

the exchange current densityobtained by extrapolation to zero over potential depends on the Tafel-slope value used for extrapolation the author is able to choose his variables. This is because variations in Tafel-slope used forextrapolation could result in large deviations to occur in the intrinsic exchange current density for ORR. The amount of temperature in the oxygen reduction reaction has to be considered since temperatures above 70o C are difficult to operate in.

In this experiment, the set up made sure transport losses are minimum. For that to happen, the H+ was transported through the membrane and electrode whereas oxygen is transported through diffuse medium and electrode this is at an operational workplace of 1o00%RH and pure oxygen. By reducing the cathode platinum loading and the oxygen partial pressure in this experiment, low cell potential is attained.

The experiment was a not a success due to the many inconsistencies in the results. Despite of that, it was able to demonstrate the increased performance of the coverage dependent kinetics could be used instead of constant Tafel-slope kinetics for performance in real life experiments. Details of how that will work are outside the scope of the

ted States are entitled within restraint of the law and are still in use today as much as they had ever been, with the first ten articles being known as the Bill of Rights. Although every state had something to gain from the signing of the Constitution, it was Pennsylvania that had much to strive for by the new laws written in the document, such as more freedom and more rights that they could benefit from, as well as having the honor of being the location decided upon for the convention to take place. When it comes to politics, many people find it hard to become excited, yet by becoming the home of such an important event and document, the people of Pennsylvania quickly felt like they were truly Americans.

Of the thirty-nine delegates to sign the Constitution, eight of them came from and represented Pennsylvania: Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Mifflin, Robert Morris, George Clymer, Thomas Fitzsimons, Jered Ingersoll, James Wilson, and Gouverneur Morris (Webster, 2010). All of these Pennsylvanian men are also considered to be among the Founding Fathers of the United States as they were behind some of the more drastic changes that the nation has ever seen, including the signing of the documents that would change the laws and freedoms in which a United States citizen was entitled to, as well as presidencies and highly looked upon government careers. All of these men had strong political backgrounds and experiences with working for law-driven changes, which gave them the knowledge that they needed to adopt the laws and articles in the Constitution. As political figures, they knew what citizens required to live free, fulfilling lives, as well as what legal issues needed to be addressed, such as what rights citizens were entitled to and what rights needed to be altered in accordance to the demands of the citizens and the needs of the time, like gun laws and criminal rights laws. It had been readily agreed upon that the people that should be in charge of creating such laws

From this discussion it is clear that&nbsp.financial data in a company is of much consequence. In order to ensure accurate financial data collection and its correct use, the company must make sure that the IT function and Finance team collaborate and use the expertise of one another for better data and analysis. Both teams must be on the same page.&nbsp.This study declares that another important aspect is to make it simple and understandable to the extent that all stakeholders of a particular kind of data know what to do with it. however, it should not be broken down so much that it loses the essence of its purpose. For this reason, metrics are very important. It is extremely important to note what is measured. Off the mark measures will waste time and money, force people into performing on wrong parameters, all rendering the collected data unusable. To give meaning to any meaningless collection of data and convert it into useful and interpretable information, it is imperative that key tools and techniques are in place which a) collect the right kind and data and b) make the conversion into useful information easy.&nbsp.The very first step in this process is to assess whether the data collected is important in the first place. Was the purpose of collecting data to answer an important business question such as sales figures, costing information, employee satisfaction, etc.?&nbsp.To have efficiency in the overall system, it is important that the data collected is for a reason.
