I will pay for the following article ‘Euthanasia is a compassionate response to the suffering of life’. Discuss the statement. The work is to be 4 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Many individuals believe that life is a very sacred and gifted thing and by taking it away it can be tagged as murder, other people, however have different views. They believe that a person’s life is his own and he/she has the right to do whatever he/she wants with their life, even if it calls for termination (Michael Manning, 1998, pg 45-56).

Different individuals have varied opinions about euthanasia which is why there is no definite answer to whether or not euthanasia can be justified as a compassionate response to the suffering of life. On one hand, a person who is on a life supporting device for the past week and has shown no signs of recovery will eventually die so one might as well spare him the misery of the pain, suffering and torture that is accompanied by a life supporting device. Conversely, there have been many incidences where patients have come around and successfully fought the battle for life. Thus, miracles do happen, although rarely but terminating a person’s life without giving him a chance to fight is also considered by many as ‘murder’. The time frame involved is also important to be considered. What are the chances of survival for an aged person who has been in surviving artificially for the past four years as compared to a young girl who went on a machine a day before? Therefore, many aspects, perspectives and differences in opinion must be catered to before a final decision regarding pulling the plug is taken.

The name Teri Schiavo should ring a bell in every person’s mind. It has been the most renowned cases in the history of America regarding euthanasia. Teri, at the age of 26 was diagnosed with a neurological condition called PVS also known as the persistent vegetative state according to which she was practically brain dead.

I will pay for the following article Examining Your Community’s Source of Energy. The work is to be 8 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. These three sources are used in the community to fulfill the different energy needs of community members. The lives of the community members are heavily dependent on the basis of these energy sources. These sources have a significant influence on the lives of community members. Fossil fuel is consisting of high percentages of coal, carbon, petroleum and natural gas. Nuclear energy has different radioactive materials. Hydroelectricity is generated from water.

Yes, certainly all these energy resources have different negative impacts on the environment of the community. According to the statistic of Energy information administration, fossil fuel emits 3.2 billion tons of extra carbon dioxide on yearly bases. Carbon dioxide is highly detrimental to the environment of the community. It adds a significant amount of pollution in the air. Burning of oil and coal. damages community lands, causes lung diseases and over all environmental degradation takes place. It causes global warming, acid rain and water pollution in the community. Different radioactive materials like uranium and plutonium are being used in the case of nuclear energy. These materials are very hazardous for the community environment and can reduce the natural growth of plants and create an unhygienic environment in the community for living. Different radioactive isotopes are very dangerous and have sheer negative impacts on the environment of the community. It can bring catastrophic situation for the environment of the community. In the case of hydroelectric power generation, big dams are needed to be prepared. It restricts the normal flow of water. Once the normal flow of water has been restricted there are high risks of floods. Global warming is a serious negative impact on the environment of the community when hydroelectric plants are installed then it creates lots of air pollution in the community.

Yes, the community has different nuclear waste at its disposal. As nuclear energy is being used as one of the&nbsp.primary sources of energy, then it is quite obvious that there will be significant nuclear wastes.&nbsp.

I will pay for the following article Explain the advantages and disadvantages of starting a business from scratch, franchises, and existing businesses. The work is to be 2 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Running head: Entrepreneurship: Small Business Entrepreneurship: Small Business Franchises (your module (Instructors Name)

Entrepreneurship: Small Business Franchises

Introduction

An aspiring entrepreneur has a few alternatives available to fulfill his/her dreams of owning and managing a business like franchise, buyout, and starting a new venture from the scratch. These options present different risk/reward situations and a careful evaluation can lead to the right choice. This essay briefly describes the advantages/disadvantages of starting a business from the scratch or buying out an existing business, and considers the specific case of a franchise option.

Advantages/disadvantages of alternatives

Starting from the scratch denotes a high risk-reward situation. Advantages include the freedom to implement one’s ideas to a large extent, aligning the investment and resource mobilization with market conditions rather than committing to rigid plans, and ease of entry and exit with minimum dependence on outsiders (Longenecker et al, 2011, pp.104-133). Disadvantages include high risk of venture failure due to lack of previous experience, making a wrong choice of product/service, and longer time needed to achieve physical and financial goals.

Outright purchasing of an existing business denotes a medium risk and gives assured customer base and revenues from the start. This advantage is diluted if the unit has poor reputation for quality or ethical practices. While the experienced staff is an advantage, if there are unresolved industrial relations problems, the new owner has to solve them, which is not always easy. Also, it may not always be possible to identify hidden liabilities representing additional risks, which accrue to the new owner (ibid.).

Taking out a franchise is a minimum risk option for new entrepreneurs since it provides the advantages of a new unit as well as a running business model. On the minus side, one has to depend on the parent company for all major decisions besides committing to pay initial fees and royalties. Profitability is reduced as a result of these limitations.

The International Franchise Association (IFA) provides assistance, both online and offline, and is of considerable help to entrepreneurs in choosing a franchise that fits their bill (IFA, 2012).

IFA and franchise as an option

One of IFA’s best features is the listing of several franchise options, complete with the preliminary information for analysis, negotiations and decision making. I have considered the option of Expedia®CruiseShip Sales Center Franchise from IFA’s website for analysis (Franchise opportunities, IFA, 2012). This is an established company with a strong brand image and 150 franchises. With an initial investment of $9500 and total investment of up to $20,000, this business is within my reach (ExpediaFranchise, 2012). The business is related to travel and vacation for which the demand has always been good. Further, a franchisee can start operations alone and expand with more cruise consultants, and even as a Retail Center Franchise, thus enabling scaling up of operations. Franchisees are provided with the basic training in the firm’s academy, followed by ongoing support and training as required. Expedia®CruiseShip uses technology extensively to help customers as well as franchises.

Conclusion

Various options are available for new entrepreneurs with different risk/reward profiles. Starting and running a business requires experience. Risks of failure can be minimized if one goes for franchise option and gain experience before implementing more ambitious plans. Even while choosing a franchisor, one needs to consider the nature of business vis-à-vis one’s interest, investment levels, initial training and on-going support, scalability etc.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Explain The Basic Principles Of Mr Image Pr

I will pay for the following article Explain the basic principles of MR image production. The work is to be 7 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. MRI is the safest imaging clinical imaging technique that is used for a variety of medical purposes like differentiating between normal and pathological tissues for diagnosis and tracking dynamic changes in tissue properties over time.

Magnetism is physical phenomenon in which materials and moving charged particles can attract or repel other materials or moving charged particles (Ballinger, Intro to MRI, 1998). Magnetism results from moving electric charges or intrinsic spin moments of electrons or nucleis. Spin is a quantum mechanical property. This means that the available spin energy levels are constrained to specific, discrete values. A spin 1/2 particle has only two possible spin states: spin up (+ 1/2) or spin down (- 1/2). The magnetic moment is aligned with the spin. The spin-up and spin-down states are described as being equal in energy, or degenerate. However, if another magnetic field is introduced, the spin-up and spin-down states will be no longer equal in energy. The energy difference introduced by applying the external magnetic field is known as the Zeeman splitting (van Geuns, 1999). This effect is very important in such applications as magnetic resonance imaging. Magnetism can be classified as paramagnetism, diamagnetism, ferromagnetism, and antiferromagnetism (Ballinger, Intro to MRI, 1998).

Having microscopic magnetization, protons within a magnetic field produce wobbling as they spin. The rate of this wobbling or precession constitutes resonance or Larmor frequency (Intro to MRI). The application of a radio frequency pulse at the Larmor frequency causes a change in the distribution of spins with respect to their energy state and precessional phase coherence (Rodr´ıguez, 2003). Practically, it means that If individual nuclei is exposed to RF radiation at the Larmor frequency, nuclei in the lower energy state jumps to the higher energy state (Intro to MRI).

I Will Pay For The Following Article Explaining Employees Behaviours Using Psych

I will pay for the following article Explaining Employees Behaviours Using Psychological Motivation Theories. The work is to be 8 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. The results of this paper reveal that there is a relationship between motivation theories and organizational behaviour. These theories can help human resource managers explain and predict human activities within their working environment. The approaches to be used to study organizational behaviour are content and process theories.

In any firm, having a motivated workforce guarantees success. Motivated workers work harder, are less absent from their duties, produce better output and are very productive. Human Resource Departments often use motivation to study organizational behaviour. Motivation is key in explaining and predicting activities within a working environment. Therefore, by conducting a detailed analysis of motivation, it is the same as analyzing the way employees conduct their activities in a working environment (Dye, 2005).

When studying organizational behaviour using motivation, there are two theories involved: content theories and process theories. Content theories cover things that make people motivated. The theory identifies the needs required by employees in order to be motivated. Process theories focus less on the needs required by employees, and more on thought-processes that impact employees’ behaviour (Leonard, 1999). This paper will conduct a detailed analysis of these two theories when evaluating the usefulness of psychological motivation theories in explaining behaviour in organizations. The paper has briefly explained the context of the study. After this brief background of the study, the next chapter is the literature review that will provide appropriate examples of how useful psychological motivation theories are when describing behaviour in organizations. The last chapter will be the conclusion, and it will summarise the results of this paper.

A study by Heng (2003) defined motivation as ‘the study why people think and behave as they do (2003, p. 45).’ Psychology motivation is concerned with examining what employees are doing (choice of behaviour), estimating time taken by an employee to initiate an activity (latency of behaviour), measuring the efforts taken by an employee to complete a task (intensity of behaviour), estimating the time an employee wishes to stay in a particular organisation (persistence of behaviour), and finding out what an individual thinks and feels when doing a task (emotional reactions of behaviour).&nbsp.

Failing Middle Schools FAILING MIDDLE SCHOOLS: A CASE STUDY OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND TURNAROUND REFORM Introduction World leaders believe that middle schools significantly play a crucial role in enabling the nations. The term “middle schools” or “middle schooling” have been a popular discussion in schools over the past decade. Recent studies, however, have drawn insights on the need to re-conceptualize the role of the middle grade in the public education system.

&nbsp.Merely 10% to 20% probability graduated on time. Moreover, more students continue to fail courses and may not achieve on-time promotion to the next grade. Lack the skills, knowledge, and self-confidence to succeed in high school and feeling distanced from his or her peers, the student continues to fail, does not earn promotion to the 10th grade. Furthermore, school principals have also expressed concerned about some schools’ lack of sufficient staff to carry out their several non-instructional tasks such as the roster chairs, work of technology coordinators, Special Education liaisons, social workers and others (Useem, E., and Teoh, M. 2003).

Schoolings success according to Balfanz, R. (2009)in improving student outcomes were dependent on the manner by which it operates under situations in which teaching is promoted and considers three major conditions which are the teacher career structures, teacher time, and teacher leadership. Some works of literature also suggest that more teacher collaboration, as well as the higher workload on teachers in middle schooling,&nbsp. is required, as compared to the case in traditional schools. Staff development must also be a focus in order to achieve a stronger professional community. The school should provide opportunities to teachers to benefit from career advancement and find ways as to how can they retain the benefits of teachers who practice the traditional subject-based teacher leadership, at the same time sustaining its strength in curriculum relevance, pastoral care, and constructivist pedagogy.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Forecasting Business Needs The Work Is To B

I will pay for the following article Forecasting business needs. The work is to be 2 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

Forecasting business needs

Our forecasting team recently completed the project to forecast next year’s business needs, and specifically to arrive at a production schedule for you. To arrive at our forecast it was necessary to consider several variables and how they impact our sales. We took into account the overall industry sales, our market share, our growth rate, and seasonal variations in sales.

We anticipate sales this year to reach $2.4 billion dollars. This is based on our 6 percent market share of a $40 billion industry. The advertising budget has been forecast based on sales due to its high correlation coefficient with sales (.96). Historically, at Blues Inc., changes in sales are closely reflected in changes in the advertising budget. Based on the $2.4 million figure, we forecast an advertising budget of $162 million.

We have also forecast the overall market size based on its recent performance. Currently the market size is approximately $39 billion. To eliminate the effects of temporary changes in market conditions, we used a two-year weighted moving average, with the most recent year having greater significance. This gives us an indication of the trend, and helps to even out any spikes or sudden changes.

You have also requested a production schedule, by quarter, for the next year. We have based the overall production level based on our 6 percent market share of a $39 billion industry. This is approximately 777 million units. Accounting for the industry growth rate, for Blue inc, this will mean 50 million units for the year. Because there has been a considerable fluctuation in sales during the fourth quarter of previous years, we used a centered moving average to arrive at our results to compensate for the seasonal changes. We utilized the past 6 years of data. This gave us sufficient information to arrive at an answer, without using data that is outdated and may skew the results. The results have been included in a separate report.

Arriving at the results of this forecast has required my team to consider past results to predict our future performance. When deciding which method to use, it was important to review the existing data to see which method would yield the best results. The chosen method needs to account for a high correlation coefficient of independent variables, the number of periods that affect the next period, the statistical impact of the most recent period, and compensate for any seasonal or temporary fluctuations.

I Will Pay For The Following Article Foreign Direct Investment In Australia The

I will pay for the following article Foreign Direct Investment in Australia. The work is to be 1 page with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Increasing overseas arrivals as threats result to struggling of negligible number of customers worldwide, a factor that leads to reduction of market share. Overseas countries offer cheap and incredible hotel services with the intention of scrambling for customers globally. hence, increasing competition. (Todd & Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, 2008).

Solution

The international organization in charge of hotels should endorse fair competition by setting a standard price for services offered in hotels globally. The policy will limit the chances of hotels offering extremely lower prices, which spoils business for other hotels globally, especially Australia.

Increasing GDP

High GDP in Australia affects the hotel industry negatively since the hotels have to pay additional taxes to the government to raise the capital to pay the debts (Faeth, 2010). Consequently, the annual income for the hotels is reduced by a big percentage exceptionally.

Solution

Australia government should maintain high economic levels and avoid having debts that by ensuring that pay according to the initial agreement. This reduces the chances of hotels paying extra taxes to raise money for debts.

High exchange rate

High exchange rate frightens potential investors interested in the Hotel industry. It is expensive to invest in the business, for example, constructing of international hotels in the country. Moreover, clients, especially visitors, find traveling costly because of the expensive fare. Domestic clients are forced to seek cheap services oversees. The high exchange rate has caused unemployment and limitation in getting sufficient services from hotels, which are supposed to satisfy them (Sharma, 2005).

Solution

Australia’s government should trade their dollar attractively to draw international investors and customers in the country for a thriving hotel business. This reduces the high prices that spoil the hotel business by startles potential customers.
