While I was studying, I have gained much work experience at a shipping company, Pakistan International Container Terminal. Now, however, I can run just about any application on my laptop. The story details how Chinese women are now interested in work and employment opportunities, rather than love and family ties.

The story is from a feminist perspective, in which the society presumes that women are the victims of a divorce. Zhu LXiaofen desperately tries to convince people that she in fact wanted the divorce and feels quite liberated. The chauvinistic society sees men as superior, and women prejudiced as the ‘second’ or ‘weaker’ sex, dependent on men. Her friends do not seem to understand the joy she has a free women without any obligations to a man. She now has a chance to enhance her self-development, something that she could not do under the constraints of her husband.
