The staff feels they are not getting enough pay with the current high cost of living and financial constraints, thus. need for salary review. They also want Hawaiian shirts to identify them with the company.

The workers complain of gender imbalance, nepotism and long working hours. Existing discrimination on employment results in the workforce comprising mostly of one gender. Nepotism is so rife that the top positions are filled only by relatives rather than promoting our employees leaving them with no opportunities for professional development. Furthermore, the working hours are longer than the usual fifty hours a week. We can have employees working alternately every week or adding more employees. The unplanned travels and additional working hours need to be addressed as well as considering Fridays as unofficial days.

However, we have done well this year, and I believe addressing these issues would further improve the performance of the company. Some of the programs we introduced such as ride-sharing, day care and installation of auto-sensors for the lights have greatly helped in reducing our expenses. Therefore, we should encourage all our employees to support these programs (Brizee 1).
