The ability to communicate effectively has an implication in patient care. In order to provide a systematic approach and continuity to effective communication. The following information are recommended:

2. Case Models through Independent Community Based Inputs: Case presentations and teaching models should be critically examined to rule our unrecognized personal, cultural and professional biases and barriers.

There are so many factors and skills that a medical professional and a patient can use to communicate with each other. One thing that a patient is looking at to most doctors is the trust they can acquire through effective explanation of all procedures and the trust they could get from the nurses on how effective they could deliver the health care services necessary for them to feel good from any diseases.

Effective communication involves continuous process between doctors and doctors. doctors and nurses. doctors and patients. patients and nurses. Set skills are essential in order to implement it with confidence. Normally, the process starts with interviewing the patient by introducing self (doctor) and by simply doing an interactive line of questioning to the patient and assessment of the nature of complaint. At times, doctors can depend on facilitation movements specially for patients whos language is not the doctors language but the danger of merely relying on facilitation could be detrimental as this may cause incorrect diagnosis. Facilitations are done through eye contact, posture, gesture or even silence. Doctor to doctor communication varies from one another depending on the nature of the patients disease.

Hi, I need help with essay on Short Paper. Paper must be at least 250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

It is evident in the commonality in the forms of discrimination manifested in institutions and across countries and even religions. This paper examines a specific institutional setting, where a student who is from a different race is discriminated based on the skin color. It will also outline an example of a student from United Arab Emirates who is studying in the University of Arizona.

Racism can be manifested through stereotypes, prejudice or through discrimination. However, while institutional racism is based on stereotypes and prejudice, it is mainly expressed through discrimination. Racism is dominant in the American society through social institutions such as University of Arizona. American institutions are in most cases oriented to white, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant values and its associated lifestyle. The mentioned is the dominant lifestyle and culture that permeates the whole American society. This does not suggest that there is anything wrong in the cultural orientation. What needs to be questioned is the implication that only protestant values and culture can be viewed as exemplary in the American culture. According to Better (41), the greatness of the United States has been utilized to champion people who have been subjugated. The American troops sent to Haiti and Kosovo attests to the nation’s concern for the poor people. As a student from United Arab Emirates, one can face segregation since policies, practices and procedures in most American institutions favor the dominant culture.

Different practices and policies aimed at addressing differential outcomes for different races continue to fail to address inequalities and perceived discrimination in various institutions. Broad anti-discrimination legislation and diversity cannot sufficiently address the current discriminations in institutional

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Should Corporate Social Responsibility Csr Be Consi

Hi, I need help with essay on Should Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) be considered in the rating of Wall Street companies. Paper must be at least 2000 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

This poses the question whether CSR should be considered in rating of Wall Street companies. In this paper, CSR is discussed in cases for and against inclusion in Wall Street company ratings. Approaches to CSR, research and trends are also examined. The author argues that CSR is important and should be considered side by side the companies’ ratings so that stakeholders get a clearer picture about the companies’ operations in the society they work with. The author proposes a simple, qualitative rating scale as a starting point for something as universal as CSR for inclusion in rating Wall Street Companies. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an ethical belief and practice that companies, just like individuals, are responsibilities as good stewards of the society in which they do business with (Wood, 1991). Corporations have an obligation to act in ways that will benefit or sustain society and that their responsibility is not limited to their profit. In the last decade, we have seen movements gather momentum requesting for more corporate social responsibilities in ethical practices, for the environment, the working conditions of employees, for the local communities, and towards all stakeholders from suppliers to post-consumption of products. CSR is soon to be integrated with the human resources, business development, operations, and relations (Barnea and Rubin, 2010). This paper will examine the two companies rated by Wall Street: Goldman Sachs and British Petroleum (BP), which very recently have been involved in practices that did not do well to the society in which they do business with. An attempt will be made to see if CSR should be considered in their ratings. In the year 2010, each of the three major credit rating agencies – Moody’s Investor Services, Standard &amp. Poor’s and Fitch Ratings – rated both of these companies mainly on their credit worthiness. In the same year, Fortune Magazine also named them as two of the world’s most admired companies. The question then is whether these companies should be rated solely on scales that show their credit-worthiness or should these ratings also include a dimension that will show how well a company performing in the society in general. British Petroleum (BP) In April 2010, an explosion occurred on BP’s oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. The Coast Guard reported that 11 people were killed, 17 other others injured and about 4.9 million barrels of oil released to the Gulf of Mexico affecting Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. The oil spill caused extensive environmental damage to the sea and wildlife creatures in the Gulf of Mexico. It also damaged the fishing and tourism industries. The US Government held BP accountable for the damages. BP officials committed to shoulder all cleanup costs and other damages. In addition, the company is also being investigated for alleged unsafe practices which caused the occurrence on the rig leading to the explosion. An internal probe made BP admit to mistakes that led to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. In 2010, Moody’s rated BP’s senior unsecured ratings as an Aa2 from Aa1. Fitch Ratings rated BP’s long-term issuer default rating and senior unsecured rating as an AA from AA+.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Should Kin Be The First Choice As Adoptive Parents

Hi, I need help with essay on Should kin be the first choice as adoptive parents. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

However, this is difficult to ascertain due to the ever-changing family set up. In America, the kinship adoption involves the adoption of a child by a relative either a grandparent or stepparent (Green, n.d.). Most of the kinship care is voluntary.

Kinship plays an important role in the adoption. therefore, preference should be given at the time of an initial placement. There are various benefits of having the relatives as first choice adoptive parent. The child is protected from the challenges such as cultural shock, and feeling out of place. There is also more chance of having the biological parent associating with the child more often. This means that the bureaucracy faced with the reintegration process will be minimized. Indeed, this promotes the continuity of family relationship through regular visitation. Moreover, in America most of the states allow the welfare worker to have a continued interaction with the child being adopted. This is mostly emphasized in foster homes, but in cases where the child is under the attention of the relatives the roles of welfare workers is minimized.

Secondly, there is an advantage of relatives being an adoptive parent. Kinship is essential in the adoption process as there is more understanding of the child needs, behavior and other sociological aspects. This is because most of the relatives have deeper knowledge of the child since birth. The child is also likely to be familiar with the caregiver. This means they have an advantage in addressing all the child sociological needs. Moreover, they will be able to stabilize the child in various forms of deprivation they have had experienced before the unification.

Moreover, the child in a kinship family enjoys relative stability and peace. This is because there is a blood relationship and a strong emotional bond. However, in the alternative families most of the children are likely to face racial

ed extraction of liquid gases underground as well as oil leakages in the ocean the country is still contemplating on whether to permit the construction of key stone pipeline. This paper looks at the environmental impact of construction of this pipeline which begins all the way from Canada to the US. This paper makes a conclusion that the construction of this pipeline will have a negative impact of the environment something that is already evident in the US.

America is one of the countries that have begun experiencing the impacts of global warming which leads to intense flooding and longer drought spells. According to Darryl Fears an author with the Washing Post magazine, impacts of global warming can be felt in all parts of the country. The author points out on the cases of rising sea levels, increased flooding , storms surges, frequent water shortages and increased cases of hurricanes in the Southeast and the Caribbean, drought and wildfires as some of the evidences of global warming (Fears). The author is worried following recent cases of many economists backing the funding of the project as it is considered to be of great financial value to the economy of the US. However, what the economists have neglected is the environmental impact of this project to the economy.

The 875 mile long project is passing through various lakes and other water bodies. Suppose there is any leakage the country is likely to experience heavier losses of more than 830,000 barrels which is transported every day through the line. Besides the economic loss the country will also suffer huge environmental degradation should this pipelines experience any leakages. Besides this, there are many flora and fauna that are living within the border of Canada and the US. Construction of this pipeline is likely to interfere with the breeding sites of these organisms. Besides this there is a high likelihood that most organisms will shift from their homes and this will interfere with their

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Should Yahoo Have Been Forced To Turn Over Justin E

Hi, I need help with essay on Should Yahoo have been forced to turn over Justin Ellsworth’s email to his Parents. Paper must be at least 750 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

There is a view that the Yahoo management should have acted swiftly and handed over the email documents to the parents of the killed Marine soon after their asking without waiting for the court order. The argument that the Yahoo management should have been forced somehow to comply with the parents’ request without waiting for the court order does not stand logic as it would have itself violated its own privacy agreement in such a case.

In declining to accept the parents’ request, Yahoo went purely by the deontological part of the ethics while ignoring the utilitarian part. Utilitarian theory of the ethics requires people to take into consideration the resulting consequences of a particular action (Grunig & White, 1992) on the people or events involved. Yahoo knows better that a utilitarian approach would sometimes lead to problems despite its positive effects. Yahoo must have carefully assessed the positive and

Had Yahoo immediately handed over the email contents to the parents when they asked, they would have certainly felt happy and satisfied on that count. This is certainly a positive effect when viewed from the parents’ angle but it would have also produced its negative consequences for the Yahoo Management. In such a case, the company would have violated its own privacy policy of protecting the interests of its email users and attracted criticism. This was clear from the statement of the Yahoo spokeswoman Mary Osako who disclosed that they would abide by the court order and hand over the email contents to Justin’s parents indicating that they would never deviate from their well established privacy policy but would only act on the directions of a court of law (Chambers, 2005).

Certainly, Yahoo followed the deontological theories of ethics which emphasize adherence to a stated policy and commitment to rules and regulations. The logic of the deontological

In the article, it is reported that the condition is necessitated by the abnormal level of a substance referred to as serotonin in the brain of the babies (Breus, 2010). The existence of the condition has been one of the mysteries that surround science since it has been the principle number one contributor in the infant mortality between the ages of 1 month to 1 year. It has to be realized that the condition is very rare, but due to its unconventional knowledge with regard to remedy, children has always succumbed to it making it one of the leading cause of death in the infants with less than a year. In the article, this condition has been found to be of high risk in children with absolute low level of the serotonin, which is a neurotransmitter, when in low levels, controls of essential body functionalities like breathing, heartbeat, and blood pressure are not fully controlled in appropriate standards (Breus, 2010). This condition brings about death to the infants because it impairs the functioning of the basic physiological processes in the body that is essential for life. In this case, when a baby is lying with the stomach facing down, they are incapable of raising their heads to enable them breath fresh air. This is just an example given in the article so that it can be appreciated why the condition is a leading cause of death in the infants. The article then proceeds to give an account of the medicinal part of the condition, it appreciates that there is no scientific test for the condition to confirm its presence or absence. Chances of a child developing the condition can also not be tested for the preventive measures to be put into place. The medicinal test of the condition will also take a span of time to be given since such scientific researches are subject to several tests to guarantee safety and efficacy (Breus, 2010). In this regard, the following preventive measures are proposed in the article for those with infants and they would like to prevent the resultant effect of the condition to practice the following. The parents or the caregivers should always ensure that the babies are held in a fitting position that will ensure there is no turning position for the baby, which may lead to death of the baby as explained in the above paragraph. There should also be avoidance of the crib bumpers for the infants as this can accelerate occurrence of death for infants with the condition, this should also go in tandem with the requirement that proposes that the babies be placed in a position that will allow them to grasp fresh air. That is, sleep on their back and not the stomach as the latter will likely cause death. finally, the use of fan for fresh air is encouraged to be a preventive measure of death in cases of the condition and the child cannot raise the head for fresh air (Breus, 2010). Personal Opinion on the Article’s Issue Following my conceptualization of the article, I find the article informative in the sense that it recognizes the condition as a principle number one cause of death in the infants. It also provides hope for the remedy of the condition by giving a substance whose reduction leads to the manifestation of the condition.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Significant Experiences In My Life How It Impact On

Hi, I need help with essay on Significant experiences in my life , how it impact on my life and what i have learned from it. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

His death made me a more realistic person. It all happened very sudden! No one expected that he would get cancer, but I believe that it was God’s will. To be brief and precise, my brother in law’s death was my most significant experience in my life. And it changed me forever.

My brother in law had thought me simple and profound lessons in life. He said that life gives us opportunities and chances to be better. Although he was not able to change his fate, he believed that if he was still alive, he would still search for opportunities to make his life better!

The most memorable lesson I learned from him was about suffering and making sacrifices. He had advised me to study abroad, specifically in the United States, for it is an integral part of success. I remember him saying, “studying abroad will be more difficult than what you think Ahmed!” But you have to make sacrifices if you want to achieve more in the future. No one knows what the future holds. Preparation should be made while you are young and healthy. By studying abroad, he said that I would be given the privilege to meet other people from other culture and be given the chance to learn a multitude of things from different context. After studies, I would have a greater advantage to apply the skills developed abroad and thereby giving me more chance to be of help to my family and countrymen.

Significant experiences are moments in life that create change not only in ones present period of life, but also dramatically alter ones view of the future. This, actually, is happening to me now. I have believed it. Although my brother in law’s death was a big shock, it was a timely lesson from God. The impacts of such experiences are opening new doors in life. And every new opportunity is a new door. Everyone should work better today than yesterday. Whenever I remember him, I try to be better in whatever I do. I study well. I savor every moment that I live. I realized that God has plans for each and

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Significance Of The Thinking And Writting On Educat

Hi, I need help with essay on Significance of the thinking and writting on education (History of Education). Paper must be at least 250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

As an educator, Webster’s vision was to maintain an American Christian republic where Christian values and moral principles were taught, valued and preserved. In short, Webster envisioned “an educational system that would impart, “a love of virtue, patriotism, and religion”, based on scripture” (Pope 2010). Thomas Jefferson, on the other hand, regarded education as a key factor for the smooth function of democracy and he laid emphasis on education for all. He believed that only educated and well-informed citizens could play crucial roles in democracy. thus, for him education was the ‘foundation of democracy and a prerequisite to vote’. The four principles that governed Jefferson’s views on education were: “democracy cannot long exist without enlightenment”, “that it cannot function without wise and honest officials”, “that the talent and virtue, needed in a free society, should be educated regardless of wealth, birth or other accidental condition” and “that the children of the poor must be thus educated at common expense” (Jewett 2010). Jefferson pointed out that States should be divided into small districts or wards for better educational outputs and for him the structure of education should be in four levels: elementary schools, grammar schools, universities, and life-long learning. However, Jefferson’s liberal views on education failed to accommodate the educational needs of women, Blacks or Native Americans.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Sleep Health Paper Must Be At Least 1500 Words Plea

Hi, I need help with essay on Sleep health. Paper must be at least 1500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

planned sleep is associated with various health deficiencies, which include loss of memory, distorted learning abilities and mood problems (Bonnet, 2011). Additionally, without enough sleep, it is naturally difficult for an individual to concentrate or focus. According to a research published in the Southern Medical Journal, sleep deprivation is one of the causes of the cardiovascular diseases, because sleep is essential for giving the heart and the vascular system the much needed rest (Brannon, Feist, & Updegraff, 2013).

Sufficient sleep is especially important for adults, considering that they form the bulk of the productive workforce, thus requires being healthy and free of such sleep disorders that may hamper their productivity and effective duty performance. Therefore, increasing the percentage of adults who are able to get sufficient sleep on a daily basis is an important aspect of improving the general health and welfare of the society. Thus, the objective of this discussion is to seek ‘increasing the proportion of adults who get sufficient sleep’. The discussion will focus on female college students as the target community population. The proposed health promotion and disease prevention program is the combination of a wellness support program with prophylactic naps.

According to the data from the National Institute of Health (NHI) that has been published in the Journal of Sleep medicine, 29% of the adult American population sleeps for less than 7 hours in a day (Schoenberg& Adams, 2009). Additionally, a study by the institute of medicine has indicated that between 50 and 70 million adults within the USA are suffering from diverse sleep and wakefulness disorders (Institute of medicine, 2006). Another data from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has indicated that 10.1% of the whole adult population in the USA has reported having insufficient sleep annually (CDC, 2008). The study by the CDC indicated that among the 403,981 respondents that were
