ng the combo of MySQL and ASP.net is to make sure that the web interface is robust, data retrieval is quick and robust, and standards can be upgraded easily (Patton, 2005).

In order to provide users a perfect match, different search algorithms were taken into consideration. The best one of all the considered algorithms is Classification Tree that would match matches on the basis of their common characteristics. The algorithm is not very complex yet reliable. Users would be able to extract accurate search results just by entering keywords, which would ensure satisfaction of the users and will save their precious time.

Apart from this, the problem of users being overlapped by other users in the search results will be solved by implementing the idea of creating sub profiles. Every user will be able to maintain different profiles under different categories (this feature is also available on many other websites to avoid the overlapping issue in search results).

The idea of this project is to build a secure and anonymous database for the experimental social science lab at Essex. It is required to set up a whole new database, develop a web portal and an interface for the paid participants that are taking part in the social science experiments in the Essex Laboratory.

Database will be filled up by the researchers themselves, as they will upload the information about the subjects whom they want to recruit. Once the database is live, those subjects who meet a certain criteria, set up by the researchers, will be notified automatically. Those subjects who are notified via auto generated emails would be able to line up their visit at the experimental lab according to the system generated schedule. The recommended database for this project is MySQL and web interface would be developed on ASP, harnessing the power of .Net framework 4.0.

Upon the entrance of the subjects in the laboratory, their identity will be checked automatically from the database. They will be able to go

The individuals belonging to both the genders were interviewed. After the research process, the hypothesis was upheld.

Crime is a social phenomenon and exists in each and every culture of the world from the most primitive human tribes and clans to the modern contemporary society. With the increase in population of the world at large, the tribes and communities grew widely and developed into society. The crime rate also got its place along with the growth of civilization with an upward trend and increase. The need of rules and system was felt to preserve peace and harmony. Subsequently, social norms, mores and taboos were determined to bring regularity in society. Socio-cultural and political authorities came into being with the passage of time, to evade disturbance and control deviancy from the prescribed manners prevailing in some specific area.

Punishment and penalties were implemented leading towards the formulation of the sets of laws and penal codes. Agencies were originated to cope with the individuals deteriorating the peace and stability of society. Abnormal attitude creating public nuisance was declared as crime against the state and its individuals. Durkheim views crime, states Coser (1977:141), as normal in terms of its occurrence, and even as having positive social functions in terms of its consequences. In his words: “Where crime exists, collective sentiments are sufficiently flexible to take on a new form, and crime sometimes helps to determine the form they will take. How many times, indeed, it is only an anticipation of future morality–a step toward what will be.”

As criminal behavior contains universality in its concept, it is not limited to one social class or age group only. Though there is no hard and fast rule for the victimization of specific crime on specific group, yet there are some types of pestering which can be attributed to particular group or class. The nature of crimes varies from one age

Hulga’s physical disabilities, specifically her weak heart, poor eyesight, and artificial leg, to symbolize the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual flaws of Hulga, Mrs. Hopewell, and Mrs. Freeman.

O’Connor shows that everyone in the story has emotional deformities which Hulga’s weak heart stands for. Oliver in her essay “OConnors ‘Good Country People’” argues that Hulga’s ailments represent her inner flaws, where her weak heart stands for her “emotional detachment” (234). Mrs. Hopewell has her imperfections, such as treating her daughter as a child, but she seems to sincerely love her (Oliver 234). Hulga, on the contrary, cannot see beyond her mother’s intellectual limitations. She thinks lowly of her mother’s absurdity and even once rudely screams at her: “Woman! Do you ever look inside? Do you ever look inside and see what you are not? God!” (O’Connor 5). Hulga harshly judges her and does not appreciate her mother’s acceptance of her superiority complex. Mrs. Hopewell and Mrs. Freeman have symbolicly weak hearts too. Mrs. Hopewell cannot bring herself to accept her daughter’s interest in philosophy, and she is not proud to say “[m]y daughter is a philosopher” (O’Connor 5). She is ashamed to admit to other people that her daughter finished a degree that lacks financial value and social status. As for Mrs. Freeman, she likes poking into everyone’s business. One of her emotional failings is her discreet emotional subjugation of Hulga which manifests when she calls her “Hulga” when Mrs. Hopewell is not around and by being obsessed with her physical deformity: “Mrs. Freeman had a special fondness for the details of secret infections, hidden deformities, [and] assaults upon children” (O’Connor 4). It is possible that she has this inclination because she is immune to the dislike of others. She no longer cares what they think about her as long as she satisfies her hunger for rumors and violence. Thus, these

This study seeks to analyze and examine the advantages and the limitations of crisis counseling. The main goal of this study is to evaluate the extent to which the counseling ideas are accepted into the structures of the society and to find out how this counseling enables the survivors of the disasters to come out of their traumatic shock. The study will be talking about a particular disaster in the world history. In this case, London Bombing (2005) has been taken into consideration for the present study. Through qualitative analysis and primary survey of a sample of 50 participants the study has attempted to reveal the intricacies, common traits, and unique qualities of crisis counseling.

The main aims and objectives of the study are to find out how the people are responding the counseling related to disaster or crisis. Whether the organizations are able to provide necessary counseling treatment to the clients? What kind of treatment the organizations are adopting in order to provide best service to their clients? In the next section, we will be discussing a review of literatures addressing these issues.&nbsp.

Floyd (2008) talks about the need for crisis counseling. The book “Crisis Counseling: A Guide for Pastors and Professionals” signifies the need for resources for the specialized, rustic, and even counselor. Aesthetics pertain to what man considers beautiful or appealing. As art, architecture is also a form of expression executed in a manner considered appealing or beautiful. In constructing a structure, however, man uses inputs as well as produces waste. The use of inputs and wastes both affect man’s existence and in sustaining his way of life. Thus, the professional architect has to be responsible not only for his final product but also with the way he or she is able to produce his own product. It follows that the relevant philosophies that a professional architect should study must cover the following: man’s philosophies for existence and living that are basic for architectural designs the philosophies related to aesthetics and art as the bases for architectural designs that can be considered as aesthetically beautiful or artistic the relevant philosophies or ethics that the professional architect can adopt, and the philosophies relevant for professional architectural practice. Hence, the foregoing are some of the general areas in philosophy research that are most relevant for a professional architect or someone who seeks to become a professional architect. In developing research methods for any research, some of the more relevant philosophical perspectives are logical positivism, verstehen, and hermeutics. II. Man’s Philosophy for Living Man’s philosophy for living is varied. For example, a man’s philosophy for living may be simply to enjoy life and get the best pleasures from life. The situation of his or her fellow human being does not disturb him because the world is a jungle where the fittest rule and survives. He or she does not care for his or her fellow human being because he or she does not feel any sense of responsibility for another person. The need for architectural designs from this type of a person is simple: what appeals to him or her without regard to the possible effects of a design may have on resource use and wastes. On other hand, another philosophy of living can be altruistic or oriented to be of service to others. This can be reflected in how basic architectural decisions are made. For instance, an altruistic design may call for ensuring that architectural designs are useable by the disabled like the limping or lame, the blind, the aged, or those who are weak. The architectural designs of buildings, streets, and houses may be such that spaces are created for the disabled or for an aging and younger population. Another philosophy of living, however, may call for the use of more obviously expensive materials associated with wealth and power. This type of architectural clients may require, for example, floors or walls that are lined with gold or precious stones. They may require a Jacuzzi right in their rooms or a pool in many parts of their house with a specification that they are installed in an obvious way and that neighbors are made aware that they have these. The need for architectural designs is not only for the sake of living and comfort but, more importantly, for conspicuous consumption. Conspicuous consumption may or may not be psychological but probably it is not only philosophical. As a philosophy for living, conspicuous consumption may result from a need to have a better standing in society. The standing can lead to better social influence, power, and esteem by the other members of society.

Secondly, the paper will highlight on how crowdsourcing can assist travelers to get information and reviews concerning new destinations. Thirdly, the research essay will propose the use of TripAdvisor, which is an online platform where members share information and reviews about hotels, resorts, flights, restaurants, and vacation rentals among others.

Pritchard and Simmonds (1982) lamented that many travelers rely on an ‘inside man’ or locals whenever they are visiting a new destination, thereby limiting their experiences and opportunities to the knowledge of the locals. This not only limits what the travelers might have learnt about the new place but it also makes them prone to exploitation by the locals who might take advantage of them because of their limited knowledge about the new destination. Russell and Cohn (2012) further lament that the locals or contact person usually give information and reviews to the travelers from their own perspective, and it might be biased or false information.

Morrell (2008) in his studies suggested that, it is far much better for travelers to learn about new destinations from others who were also new to the destination and shared their first hand experience of the destination. This enables the traveler to learn about the new destination from the perspective of someone who also once new at the same destination.

According to Estellés and González (2012), crowdsourcing provides an online platform whereby a user can pose a question or problem and then other users or members of the site also known as the crowd can contribute their answers or solutions to the problem. Figure 1 below demonstrates this, whereby the crowd surrounds the red image. The user will have the advantage of obtaining numerous feedbacks that are, worthwhile. Brabham (2008) and Sloane (2011) in their studies describe crowdsourcing as the process whereby

Education: Educating all the parties who will be affected by change about the reason why change is needed can help overcome resistance and in contrary gain support for change. This is recommended when only part of the organization will be affected by the change while others remain intact.

Coercion: Coercion can be implicit or explicit. With implicit, those who continue to resist change can be removed from the process. With implicit, resistors of change can be bared from promotion or be withdrawn from projects which involve

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Respiratory Care To Prevent Complications After Tho

Hi, I need help with essay on RESPIRATORY CARE TO PREVENT COMPLICATIONS AFTER THORCOTOMY. Paper must be at least 2000 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Up to 65% of patients may have an atelectasis, and 3% may develop pneumonia (Pasquina et al 2003). They are the result of progressive changes in the respiratory status of the patient and play a significant role in postoperative morbidity and mortality (Leo et al 2006). They also prolong hospital stay and increase healthcare costs (Pasquina et al 2003). Thoracotomy is performed for various surgeries like resection of pulmonary and esophageal tumors, operations on the lung like pneumonectomy, lobectomy, segmental resection, wedge resection and lung-volume reduction surgery, operations on the pleura like pleurectomy and decortication, operations on the esophagus and on the heart (Porter 2003). The pulmonary complications are usually delayed, occurring 48–72 hours after thoracotomy (Leo et al 2006). The commonly seen complications are adult respiratory distress syndrome, pneumonia, atelectasis, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary edema, asthma and respiratory failure (Leo et al 2006).

Since pulmonary complications increase the morbidity and mortality of patients following surgery, many studies have been done to look into means of preventing these complications. Leo et al (2006) evaluated the benefits of identifying these complications early in the course of post-operative care after thoracotomy, so that appropriate interventions can be delivered to prevent and manage these complications. They used a multifactorial score called FLAM score to identify postoperative patients at higher risk for pulmonary complications at least 24 hours before the clinical diagnosis. The FLAM score was based on 7 parameters, namely, dyspnea, chest X-ray, delivered oxygen, auscultation, cough, quality and quantity of bronchial secretions. The researchers concluded that changes in FLAM score could be detected atleast 24 hours before the clinical diagnosis of pulmonary complications, giving as opportunity for the clinicians to take action much before overt symptoms. Hi I Need Help With Essay On Respiratory Failure Paper Must Be At Least 1750 Wor

Hi, I need help with essay on Respiratory failure. Paper must be at least 1750 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

A fall arterial oxygen tension (Pa, O2) of &lt.8.0 kPa (60 mmHg) and an arterial carbon dioxide tension (Pa, CO2) of &gt.6.0 kPa (45 mmHg) or both, is indicative of respiratory failure (Roussos and Koutsoukou, 2003). Respiratory failure may be acute or chronic. In case of Wilson, the respiratory failure is acute and this is indicated by the drastic change in the acid-base status (pH= 7.3). The cause of respiratory failure in him is the right lower lobe collapse-consolidation secondary to pneumonia. Lower respiratory tract infection is known as pneumonia. The pathology lies in the parenchyma of the lungs which consist of alveolar sacs. There are several causes of pneumonia, the most common of which is bacterial (Stephen, 2009). Bacterial pneumonia can be community acquired or hospital-acquired. In case of Wilson, the pneumonia is hospital acquired.

&nbsp.Decreased oxygen saturation: Acute respiratory failure occurs when the body is unable to maintain gas exchange at a rate on par with the demands of the body like in pneumonia. The damage to lung parenchyma in pneumonia results in the release of inflammatory mediators and fluids because of which intrapulmonary shunting, ventilation-perfusion mismatching, hypoventilation and diffusion defects occur (Stephen, 2009). All these eventually lead to hypoxemia which is evident in the blood gas analysis of Wilson (Ranjit, 2001). In ventilation-perfusion mismatch, areas which have lower ventilation as against perfusion contribute to hypoxemia.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Response Paper To Pride And Prejudice By Jane Auste

Hi, I need help with essay on Response paper to pride and prejudice by jane austen. Paper must be at least 750 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

r breaking up with Jane based on information brought to him by these same society friends because she does not come from their ‘set’ was surprising as was the idea that Jane would take him back anyway. However, I can understand that she would have done anything for him because she really did love him and the times were much different then.

During the Victorian period, women were very limited in what they could do as a means of supporting themselves. Basically, if they wanted to have any chance at mingling with ‘polite’ society, they had to be aware of the more rigid rules of manners in high society and they had to try to find a husband early. That was pretty much everything they were born and educated to do. Outside of taking care of the house and the family, there weren’t many acceptable ways that girls could take care of themselves. They were usually considered the responsibility of a male relative, who was given the right to choose their husbands for them and had control over their money and activities. Girls who did not have male relatives to take care of them, like Charlotte Lucas, had to resort to the only field in which women could retain some degree of respectability, which was taking a position in someone’s home as a governess. The idea that even this was relatively horrible is expressed when Charlotte would rather marry Mr. Collins, who she is not overly fond of, rather than become a governess somewhere. I really hated the idea that women were so limited in what they could do given all that they have accomplished in the past 100 years. Imagine what society would be like today if the whole population, rather than just half of it, was involved in it.

Charlotte’s marriage to Mr. Collins is not seen to be the kind of happy love affair that eventually develops between Jane and Charles and Elizabeth and Darcy. Although Mr. Collins continues to call her by endearing names, he does so with such lack of feeling that one gets the
