Most of their waking hours are spent in worrying about unwanted thoughts and mental images (Hyman &. Pedrick, 2009, p.7). People suffering from obsessive-compulsive personality disorder are incapable of leading a normal life as their obsession draws most of their energy, and most of their actions are influenced by their obsessions. Hence, the only way to cure the Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is to manage the obsessive thoughts through different psychological therapies, as only by managing and understanding the nature of obsessive and compulsive thoughts can one manage the obsessive-compulsive behavior. Definition To understand OCD, it is important to define the words ‘obsession’ and ‘compulsion’. DSM-IV (1994) defines obsession as “persistent ideas, thoughts, impulses, or images that are experienced as intrusive and inappropriate and that cause marked anxiety or distress” (Jakes, 1996, p.6). DSM-IV (1994) defines compulsions as “the repetitive behavior and mental acts” which are intended “to remove anxiety or distress and not to provide pleasure or gratification” (Jakes, 1996, p.6). Hence, according to DSM-IV (1994), OCD can be diagnosed when the excessiveness and the unreasonable nature of the obsessive and compulsive behavior and thoughts is realized by the people suffering from it (Jakes, 1996, p.6). …
To cure OCD, it is necessary to understand the cause of it. Nature Of OCD Researches in past 60 years have found that OCD is a disorder that depends on different factors (Pauls, Alsobrook, Goodman, Rasmussen &. Leckman, 1995, p.76), and hence, it is not easy to reach the conclusion regarding its nature. Familial history was found to be factor in some cases of OCD, while in other cases, there was no evidence of familial history (Pauls et al., 1995, p.76). This shows that the basis of OCD is still controversial. It was widely believed that the genes are responsible for the OCD in human beings (Arnold &. Richter, 2001, p. 1353). However, no specific genetic factor has been identified as responsible for OCD (Arnold &. Richter, 2001, p. 1353). This led the researchers to believe that when the “underlying genetic susceptibility” interacts with the environmental risk factors, then it results in obsessive-compulsive behavior pattern and leads to development of OCD in that person (Arnold &. Richter, 2001, p. 1353). Hence, it is very necessary to detect the OCD as soon as the symptoms start appearing in a person. However, it has been found that most of the times, OCD goes undetected. OCD is not common in young children (Heyman, Fombonne, Simmons, Ford, Meltzer &. Goodman, 2001, p.324). However, the rate of OCD in young adults in their puberty has been found to be increasing (Heyman et al., 2001, p.324). Hence, it is important to detect OCD early to manage it in behavior. Researches in many countries have revealed that one out of every forty people suffer from OCD (Hyman &. Pedrick, 2009, p.17). OCD develops gradually in personality (Hyman &. Pedrick, 2009, p.19).

The country does not matter as long as the three are incorporated in the policy.
Every APN should have the skill to be a policy maker. This is a necessary skill because an APN is not like any ordinary nurse and is almost at the same level with doctors and hence policy making should be an important aspect in their career. Health policymaking provides a platform to make positive changes in the health field which will be beneficial to the patients’ as well as the APNs and every APN should aim at being included in the process of making a difference in the health care field. Policy making also provides the courage and practice to be in leadership position and no APN should want to pass this chance as it shows the skills and abilities the APNs possess setting them apart from regular RNs (Hamric, Hanson, Tracy and OGrady,

ngs regarding the fact that whether I am obtaining the required amount of nutrition or not from the intake of my favorite non-veg meals (KFC, “Food”).
I am fond of KFC’s chicken buckets and thus, visit the outlet once a week. I majorly place order for the Kentucky grilled chicken (6 pieces) bucket and the extra crispy (6 pieces) bucket on alternate basis. Apart from these two, I also order for rice bowl meals, desserts, mac & cheese and green beans for altering my taste. Thus, evaluating the nutritional value served within each bucket (6 pieces) of grilled chicken in the first step (KFC, “Food”).
The above formulated tabular charts project a clear description regarding the percentage of nutritional value, which I get from the favourite foods I order in a KFC food outlet. The data provided within the table helps in determining that the ordered food combinations cannot provide the complete amount of calorific value, which I require on daily basis as a diabetic patient. The level of saturated fat intake from the chicken bucket is high in comparison to other food items depicted in the third table. Moreover, it can be observed that the percentages of sodium provided by each of the food products are quite high. The below provided table describes about the daily nutritional requirements for diabetic patients (Treatment For diabetes, “3 Diabetes Diet Meal Plan Guidelines”).
Apart from just sodium and calorie value, protein intakes through the consumption of the chicken buckets are also high in comparison to the regular calorie requirement. However, one specific benefit of consuming fast food combos is that the level of intake of trans fat is comparatively low as can be understood from the tabular data. Thus, for consuming the appropriate amount of calorie and other specific intakes, it is necessary that I make certain alterations within the previous order combinations. Although being a big fond of the KCF chicken items, I will have to focus more on the

A checklist where dietician enters pertinent information about the patient is used. Since the rest of the team requires drawing reference to the information, the form is placed on the patient’s medical record.
The process of checking the nutritional status of a patient is a four-step model. Every in-patient checking to the hospital must receive nutritional screening to determine whether they face nutritional impairment or not Coulston & Boushey (2013). Thorough screening is run on patients who are at risk of nutritional impairment and a nutritional support program is developed and initiated by the dietician. Monitoring to the patient is done to ensure positive response to the program.
Although hospitals have been running these tests on patients, they have not put enough emphasis on the Programme. Out patients rarely receive the tests, yet they could also be suffering from the problem. The program is very expensive and only sustainable to patients who can afford it. However CounterAct Ltd accused In-Tech Ltd of making false statements during negotiations. The In-Tech Ltd are liable to false statements as accused based on the information they presented during the negotiation process. For instance, in an email on February 15th, she assured CounterAct’s Head of IT that the DX-5 would be very cheap to run, costing “no more than 25 pounds a week”. The sales manager knew that the system’s running costs are extremely high and did not disclose the information. Instead, she assured the buyer that the system is cheap. But we find that the system is consuming electricity at a rate of 50 pounds per day. This is too expensive considering the fact that In-Tech had given the value of 25 in a week. This makes In-Tech liable to fraud and according to the elements of common law. this is because In-Tech makes a knowing misrepresentation of the material facts that it presents to the other party. In this case, Lily knew about the costs were high but did not disclose the information. It is a fact that the DX-5 is expensive. this is against the promise made by In-Tech managers that the system would be cheap. Clause 13 of the contract provided for the proper installation of the system. this means that the system needed to be installed in good condition in the first week of July. The deadline for the installation was the 8th day of July. Unfortunately, by 14th July the software setup was not installed and there were reports that the In-Tech Ltd had become notorious for late installations. The action is fraudulent because they had promised and even signed the contract on the same. The fact is that, they knew about the process of installation because this is their line of business but they gave a short period of installation. This is considered by the law as promissory fraud. For instance, a case of this sort was litigated in Markow v ABC Transfer &. Storage Co. In this case, a commercial tenant entered into negotiations to renew its lease on a warehouse and railroad yard. The warehouse was crucial to the tenant’s continued business relationship with its main client, the Scott Paper Company, because Scott used the warehouse a regional product distribution facility. The parties were assured of renewal of tenant’s lease during the contract renewal negotiations but the landlord was secretly engaged in negotiations of selling the company to the Boeing Company at the same time. The sale went through and the landlord gave a notice to that tenant to vacate in twenty days. The tenant thus lost the Scott Paper contract and incurred extra ordinary relocation expenses. The court found that the landlord’s promise regarding the lease renewal was fraudulent. the promise was done to tie the tenant to the case as the sale did not materialize. The meaning of this is that false promises may cause great losses to the buyer and the seller through the court is forced to compensate the buyer. In another instance, In-Tech Ltd is liable to false statement when they claim that DX-5 is indestructible and the CounterAct staff argues that when once staff spilled a cup of coffee the system reacted badly to the heat and moisture and had to be repaired. The In-Tech may have ignored the information hence misrepresentation of information is evident.

The different levels of management expressed grave concern that the trainees were not well trained both technically and linguistically. Moreover, the programs are not line-specific and have no distinct patterns. The duration of the program is approximately 2.9 to 4 years which is too long and fails to lead to a recognized college level.
The majority of the trainees indicated that they did not benefit much from the training programs. The training programs are not audited by an independent accrediting organization. Furthermore, too many parties of the parties that were involved in training the students had no training background. Lastly, the Qatari secondary school graduates are in high demand. It is thus recommended that non-Qatari’s whose mothers are Qaani’s and non-Qatari’s born in Qatar are included.

The freezing waters, unpredictable storms, harsh weather conditions, handling of the heavy fishing machines and attacking by water creatures, are the causes of high fatality rate in the fishing industry. In 2008, fishing industry had an average of 129 deaths in every 100,000 fishermen, and 61 injuries in 100,000 fishermen, hence ranked the most dangerous occupation in the world.
Aircraft pilot is among the most dangerous occupations in the world. Its death rate is 57.1 per 100,000 pilots. Bush dusting and crop dusting are the most fatal. This is because flying very close to the ground in small planes can be very fatal. Pilots work for very long hours, and pilots have very limited options in saving their planes when crushing (Cullen).
Most farmers and ranchers are over 65 years, and they use tractors, heavy machinery and herbicides. Inhalation of herbicides and other chemicals, long working hours during planting and harvesting causes a great risk to their health. This, therefore, makes farming and ranching among the dangerous occupations. .
Truck drivers drive heavy trucks for long hours with no proper rest. Increased traffic, being alert for long hours, heavy vehicles with heavy loads create a challenge in this industry. When driving, the drivers can be attacked by robbers, murdered and even raped. The fatality rate stands at 18.3 per 100,000 (Cullen 67).
Garbage collectors also face a great challenge. Hanging on the back of garbage trucks is very dangerous. The toxic materials, acids, blood in the garbage are harmful to the collector. The collector can be seriously injured or even die. The fatality rate is at 41.8 per 100,000 garbage collectors.
An occupation is termed as safe by its ability to withstand harsh economic conditions. Health care is one of the occupations that can survive even in economic hardship. This is because. people will still need the health care services despite the economic situation.

The significance of the book in American literature is that it is a metaphor for society – the dehumanizing force of administrative and medical power is likened to mechanical “Combine” which is a huge machinery of oppression. Normal human behaviours are suppressed and the machinery of power is challenged by the tragic hero McMurphy. In the end he is lobotomized and finally killed by the narrator. It sounds like a horror story and it has very serious themes, but there is a lot of humor in the dialogue and in the quirky character of McMurphy.
This book contains a short but fascinating discussion of the character of Nurse Ratched, the Big Nurse. Using Freudian and Jungian psychological concepts, Aguiar shows how McMurphy sets himself up to fight a huge battle with a typical “ball-cutter”, which reveals his fear of the castrating female. This is then described as an archetypal mother hatred scenario, and Aguiar suggests that all of the male patients in the asylum see Nurse Ratched as a mother figure, and they apparently masochistically project their fear of their own mothers onto her. The target of McMurphy’s rebellion is not just the authority that Nurse Ratched holds, but also her actual femininity, and this is made clear when McMurphy attacks her and exposes her large breasts. Aguiar explores a Jungian analysis of this act in terms of the Oedipus complex, but somehow this analysis is unconvincing. After all Nurse Ratched triumphs over McMurphy in the end, and it could be argued that she is as much a victim of the oppressive system as he is. This book pursues a very strong feminist line, but in Kesey’s novel it finds more questions than answers, throwing up a number of intriguing theories, none of which address the mixed male/female/machine persona that is Nurse Ratched, or the decidedly positive view that the young McMurphy formed of women and heterosexual love.
This book examines issues around the religious nature of the

Chinese culture and English culture are so inherently different from each other that it often takes a lifetime for an individual of Chinese origin to adjust in an English or American culture. The difference between the two cultures is almost as strong and evident as the difference between the Chinese and English language. The narration of Chinese superstitions and tales strengthens the relationship between Kwan and Olivia. Kwan’s belief that she can see ghosts because of having yin eyes originates in her relationship to the past because it is a belief of the Chinese culture. Her relationship to her past is particularly evident from the fact that Kwan recounts tales from the past life. The story The Hundred Secret Senses revolves around the process of creation of the new Asian-American identities that Kwan and Olivia, and millions of Chinese girls like them undergo while living in a culture that is worlds apart from their original culture.
The fundamental reason why Kwan contemplates a trip to China is to find out more about her connection to the Yin world. Remembering and accepting her past has a significant effect on how Kwan lives now. It eventually becomes obvious that there is a connection between the fidelity of Kwan to Olivia and that of Nunumu to Miss Banner in terms of past lives being in the present. As the visit of Kwan, Olivia, and Simon to China is transformed into a tragedy, Olivia happens to accept the faith of Kwan. It is because of Kwan’s remembrance and acceptance of her past that she manages to lead Olivia to the realization that in addition to what can be perceived with the use of five basic senses, there is a whole lot of other things which cannot be understood without the use of the hundred secret senses. Olivia gushes in the conclusion of the novel, “The world is not a place but the vastness of the soul. And the soul is nothing more than love, limitless, endless, all that moves us toward knowing what is true. . . . And
