The primary purpose of the interaction between humans and the environment is adaptation. Humans’ exposure to stressors (stimuli within the environment) triggers the development of coping mechanisms, which enable them to adapt to the changing environment. Each individual has two major subsystems. the regulator and cognator internal processing subsystems, which help them, cope with stimuli from both the external and internal environment. The regulator subsystem functions through the autonomic nervous system (perception and neural pathways, endocrine system) whereby the mechanism prepares individuals for dealing with environmental stimuli. On the other hand, the cognator mechanism comprises of perceptual/information processing, emotions, judgment and learning. The process of perception bridges or connects the two mechanisms. Roy asserts that nursing’s primary goal is to facilitate a patient’s development of health, which she defined as the process of becoming and being a whole and integrated person (Roy, 1980).

Fundamental to all human beings, is their need to cling to their concept of a Higher Power. For some, acknowledging the existence of an existential being that possesses supernatural powers, which one cannot research quantitatively or qualitatively defines their conceptualization of God (Higher Power). Conversely, others negate the existence of a God, as they instead chose to focus on universal moral principles, which are not culture specific and promote equal and humane treatment of all. for example, they believe that it is wrong to kill or steal as it compromises another person’s quality of life. My personal nursing philosophy is primarily centered on acknowledging the existence of cultural diversity. Cultural diversity influences the differences in individual’s conceptualization of God. As such, it is crucial for nursing professionals to respect each patient’s

Hi I Need Help With Essay On My Summer Place After I Read Once More To The Lake

Hi, I need help with essay on My summer place(after I read once more to the lake). Paper must be at least 1250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

My two brothers and I would visit Crystal Lake twice a year, usually during our summer break. The years had passed, and the inevitable had happened, we had all grown apart. One of my brothers moved to the east, the other to the west, and we hadn’t spoken in quite some time.

It was the morning of my birthday. I was staring out the window at the rain pouring from the ceilings of the heavens, covering the streets turning them into a swarm of distant rivers. I lay on my bed dreaming about the calmness of the lake and the never ending beauty that I for so long had seemed to have forgotten. For it was now only a dream inside my empty soulless mind. Too many years had passed and too many things had been forgotten. The memories were now merely a torn out page of an old book I had lost. And I too, just like that book, had been lost as well. The thoughts circling around in my head, like a dusty wind storm, started to give impressions of eagerness. I knew deep down inside me, that I couldn’t just sit here, on my birthday, again.

I collected all of my unorganised thoughts and compiled them into one, sensible plan. I decided that I would venture off back to Crystal Lake. If I didn’t go, I knew I would eventually be driven to insanity. I also determined that I would give my brother’s a call. I hadn’t spoken to them in years, but I knew that Crystal Lake wouldn’t be the same as it was back when we were young without them. Unfortunately, neither brother was home when I called, so I left a message on their answering machines. I informed them that I would be returning to our spot, although I doubt they cared. But that wouldn’t stop me. I would still go on my quest back to Crystal Lake.

I packed all of the relevant camping equipment, my large tent which I had kept all these years, together with an assortment of blankets. I had never been much of a fisherman, so I decided to prepare some food to take with

Hi I Need Help With Essay On N Analysis Of Any Assigned Primary Source Document

Hi, I need help with essay on N analysis of any assigned primary source document from the book Major Problems in American History Volume II. Paper must be at least 1250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

In the eighth stanza, Randolph laments that he cannot take up the musket and fight anymore.1 The word “anymore” illustrates that he probably took part in the recently ended war. The conflict was bitter and quite biased against the North, so he views the Republic and the constitution as mere instruments from the latter region. His biases have thus caused him to speak against critical principles of the US like freedom.

Southerners were regarded as masters by their slaves. not only were they going to lose this status, but they now had to submit to the North. The hatred and bitterness should not come as a surprise as the defeat had adverse consequences. It is these sentiments that informed the writer of the song. He probably detested the fact that he now had to play to demands from the ‘Yankees’. He has a rebellious character in the song because he lost so much. It is for this reason that he does not care for their pardons. he boldly claims that he wishes he could kill some more Northerners, but the law does not allow him.

The song was written in 1860 immediately after the Civil war. the South had lost, and one of the terms of the war was to integrate them into the Union. A lot of losses had been reported and it was clear that the people were devastated. In the period just before composure of the song, an appalling loss of lives had been recorded. It is estimated that approximately 20% of the adult white male population had been wiped out in the South. Therefore, the men were physically and emotionally wounded.

Farm buildings in the region had been fully ruined. Additionally, work animals as well as the machinery used for in economic activities were destroyed. The value of everything within the Southern states was low because of the War. In fact it is estimated that even 10 years after the Civil war, all the assets in the South were still 30% less than their former value. The people left behind would soon have to tackle a long road to

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Narrative About A Fictional Town Named Mcminden Pap

Hi, I need help with essay on Narrative about a fictional town named McMinden. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

The following passage clearly shows that migration is prevalent in the town of McMinden. McMinden is a small city in the farm belt, with a population of 20,000, along the Gilligan river. German immigrants began populating the Gilligan river valley beginning in the 1880’s, along with other white settlers moving west from Kentucky and Indiana, as well as a few black settlers from the South. The concept of sociological perspective is being followed generally in the town as it is followed everywhere in the world. In our general life it is seen that if an Asian migrates to United States then he tends to adopt the same perspective as being practiced in United States. The division of social classes was not broad enough in the previous times as it has become now. The prestige of individuals was not judged upon by their level of wealth but it was rather inherited or attained by their reputation of righteousness. Power existed in the olden times too but it generally was categorized for limited individuals. Nowadays it is seen that power is abruptly managed by a lot of individuals. All these individuals are key players in the decision making of the society. Social classes can also be witnessed in the town of McMinden as shown by the following passage. The richest part of the town is a subdivision built around Lake Elmo.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Natural Approach To Uterine Fibroids Paper Must Be

Hi, I need help with essay on Natural Approach to Uterine Fibroids. Paper must be at least 1250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Download file to see previous pages…

Uterine fibroids form on the interior muscular wall and the exterior of the uterus. They form clumps and tend to enlarge leading to distortion of the uterus. Even if the fibroids are tiny, they can cause immense pain and abnormal bleeding.

Consuming plethora of medicines to treat uterine fibroids can cause more harm than good. The best approach one can adopt is the alternative way of treatment. the natural way. Natural uterine fibroid treatment methods can easily control the growth and spread of uterine fibroids. Nature has tremendous potential to heal and it has been good enough to entrust our bodies the ability to release the harmful toxins and abnormal cells when it is out of equilibrium.

Any type of treatment for uterine fibroids must include certain vitamins and/or minerals and accessory nutrients and/or herbs. Here I am going to discuss about a natural product that can control uterine fibroids. This product is composed of 2 vitamins and 3 herbs.

The product is composed of:

1.Vitamin A

2.Vitamin E

3.Dong Quai

4.Black Cohosh

5.Chasteberry (vitex)

The best vitamins to aid the healing process of uterine fibroids are Vitamin A (Betacarotene) and Vitamin E. Herbs like Dong Quai, Black Cohosh and Chasteberry are known to not only control the symptoms but treat the disease altogether. A combination of these vitamins and herbs is a wonder drug. This product is absolutely essential if you want to eliminate the existence of uterine fibroids naturally. So, let’s delve into the benefits of these vitamins and herbs and understand what made me choose these vitamins and herbs in the treatment of uterine fibroids….

Vitamin A derived from animals is divided into retinol and dehydroretinol. Vitamin A obtained from vegetables has four potent groups – alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, gamma-carotene and crypto-carotene. Vitamin A protects the cells against damage and it also helps the cells to reproduce normally. An adequate supply of vitamin A corresponds to healthy red blood production. Vitamin A also helps to control heavy bleeding and other symptoms of uterine fibroids. To maintain adequate levels of vitamin A in the body, eating foods rich in beta-carotene (carrots and sweet potatoes) or taking beta-carotene supplements is recommended. Vitamin E Vitamin E controls the symptoms of painful periods (dysmenorrhea) that is caused due to fibroids. During dysmenorrhea, women also may feel bloated, nauseous, experience breast tenderness, diarrhoea and headaches. Vitamin E combats these fibroid symptoms. Vitamin E is composed of alpha-tocopherol which is the most important. This antioxidant acts by regulating the hormonal disorders which triggers fibroids. It opposes fibrosis and when it is combined with herbs, the effect is intensified. It ensures the stability of cellular structures. Dong Quai Dong Quai’ is a Chinese herb and is found to have a relaxing effect on the uterus comes. This is because of the presence of volatile oils in Dong Quai. Dong quai is a muscle relaxant and helps in relieving cramps, thereby strengthening the female organs. Black Cohosh Black Cohosh is used for centuries to treat many women related symptoms like painful menstruation, hot flashes and night sweats, which are associated with menopause and premenstrual syndrome.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Naturalism Vs Cubism Paper Must Be At Least 250 Wor

Hi, I need help with essay on Naturalism vs Cubism. Paper must be at least 250 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Naturalism vs Cubism La Pietà of Michelangelo of the Renaissance (1499) was made at the death of the French Cardinal Jean de Billheres. ical Beauty with naturalism. The body of Jesus dying in Marys arms is of a beauty that has become famous for over five centuries. Peaceful, Relaxed, a mother holding a child in her arms. The marble statue shows that her body is much larger in proportion to be able to hold a dead man. She is strong. She is also holding the arm. Michelangelo is also the intricacy of her complicated dress.

Guernica painted in 1937 (oil on a massive canvas) shows the anger Picasso had toward the Spanish Civil war. There is no beauty nor is there any naturalism. Each figure must be explained. Whereas the viewer knows why La Pietà was carved, Picassos Guernica must be studied. The painting represents his nationalism and his hatred towards Franco. It was painted in Paris

Though the painting is figurative, it tells a story. If one knows the history of the bombing of the city of Guernica, it is possible to see events in the painting. It represent his cubism in blue, black and white. There are three parts to the work. The eye goes to the lightest part which is to the center, then to the bull, then to the left.

There are many symbols to identify. “The bull as the symbol of Spain, represents the onslaught of fascism. Picasso said it meant brutality and darkness.”(Picasso) The dead child shows that Spain can no longer remain innocence of Spain. The broken lines of the hand as are the soldiers lives when they return home from war.

Michelangelos La Pietà has a sense of beauty, calmness and maternal sadness. Picassos fresco shows his profound sadness that his country of birth is in Civil War. Under the Franco regime, he never goes back to Spain.

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Nature Of The Mind Paper Must Be At Least 500 Words

Hi, I need help with essay on Nature Of The Mind. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

This means that whatever is conceived in the mind is also logically possible. For instance, a person can assume a nonphysical state upon conception of that thought. In this case, the person disregards the body as an indispensable feature of his being. This, according to Descartes, implies that the mind is an important feature to that individual. Therefore, the person is an immaterial, thinking being (Vaughn 63).

Chalmers theory of mind is known as property dualism. He asserts that mind states or properties are different from physical states. The mental states emanates from physical properties but not necessarily identical to them. This implies that the relationship between the states of mind and physical properties is that of supervenience. In this case, the mental states are more powerful than physical states. However, the existence of mind states largely depends on the physical states. From this relationship, there exists a kind of dualism between nonphysical and physical features. He concludes that mind features are superior to physical properties.

From the provisions of the two theories, there arise similarities and differences. The most striking similarity is that of acknowledging the mind as superior to the physical states. In the argument presented by Descartes, superiority of the mind emerges when existence of physical states is brought about by the mind. This shows the power of the mind to create and dismiss the physical states. Similarly, arguments brought forward by Chalmers recognize the mind as the all-powerful entity between the two. Physical properties are given meaning by the mind (Vaughn 66).

The arguments differ from each other when in-depth analysis and evaluation are done. There is no superficial difference observable but it takes the examination approach to bring it to the surface. The difference is evident when prescriptive and descriptive aspects are considered. Descartes’ argument implies

Hi I Need Help With Essay On Neanderthal Paper Must Be At Least 500 Words Please

Hi, I need help with essay on Neanderthal. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

The group of mammals was named Neanderthals under homo sapiens as dubbed as homo sapiens neanderthalensis (Trinkaus, 1978).

From the studies conducted on the skeletons, it has been theorized that the Neanderthals lived during the ice age, thus their name. Researchers based their conclusions basically from the general features of the skeletal remains where it was observed that the Neanderthals had short limbs and a deep, wide ribcage which allowed lesser surface area exposed to the atmosphere and making the internal organs embedded deep within the body to make them warm (bbc.co.uk, 2005). Aside from showing their ability to adapt to the extreme cold during the ice age because of their physical features, they also tell about their way of living. For instance, the bone structures show an exaggerated massiveness in the trunk and limbs of the Neanderthal males and females (Trinkaus, 1978). This could be traced to how they got their food, through hunting. Professor John Shea (bbc.co.uk, 2005) concludes from studying the hunting materials of the Neanderthals that the spears they used were not purposely shot from afar but were used on a face to face encounter with their prey. Because the tools were not as sharp to have been used in attacking from a distance, the theory is that, the Neanderthals had to wait on the wild animals until they get near before attacking them. This explains the muscle developments of the Neanderthals as shown by the skeletons and also helps to give light to the fractures found in some of the Neanderthal bones. For instance, Shanidar 3 (Trinkaus, 1978) has a scar o the rib which, based from studies, is theorized to be from an injury during a fight with a fellow Neanderthal or an accidental injury.

The predecessors of the homo sapiens were found to have a similar brain size to the modern man (bbc.co.uk, 2005. Tattersall

Hi, I need help with essay on Neil v. Biggers. Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

This ruling based on the show up identification brought about the precedence of making a ruling.

The other precedence brought about by this case was due to the fact that the writ for habeas corpus in such a case cannot be cannot be accepted by a federal court. This is because of the affirmance according to the U.S.C 2244 (c). This therefore means that even if the case is appealed, the judgment of made by the lower courts still stands and no further action can be taken (Ingram 2011). This was the case when Biggers appealed the ruling of the case in the Supreme Court.

Even though the Neil v. Biggers was ruled in favor of the show up identification process even though it was done over seven months after the assault had taken place, conflict of ideas were raised. This has led to development of more criteria which should be considered before judging an individual based on merely identification by an eyewitness.

These criteria are proved by a psychologist employed to do so by the court. They look at several things like the time that has elapsed between the time the assault takes place and the identification process. This is meant to ensure that the memory of the plaintiff is still fresh and hence no wrong identification.

Another guideline involves the accuracy of the description made earlier. This is done to ensure that there is no discrepancy whatsoever that may lead to the wrong person being incriminated and the assailant to walk free. All this is done before any ruling on the case is done and it ensures that the witness is really sure of what they are reporting before the court or in front of a jury.

The other guideline criteria are on opportunity to view the assailant. This will include the physical features of the assailant like height, weight, skin complexion among other physical traits that will make it easy to identify the individual whether in a line up or
