The American constitution seems to be under assault. We now have a Congress and an executive that are attempting, actively, to lead the country to bankruptcy in order to void the constitution and draft another in their image, which will withdraw freedoms that the current constitution guarantees.

Currently, America is going through fundamental transformation promised to us by President Obama. Our president, along with many senators, now considers the constitution a hindrance in pursuing their agenda. I am down hearted that some scholars openly proclaim the outdated nature of the American constitution, despite our founding fathers having established an amendment process in their wisdom.

Every American who treasures peace needs to be worried as an assault is made on their freedom of speech, religious rights, and the right to defend themselves. There has been a continuous assault on our pursuit of happiness by this government that aims to take from its citizens. All that supports their ideas are idealist ideas whose end will be the destruction of the United States. Remember, the best government is that which governs the least.

The reasons for his death are extensively studied by Dr. Cyril Wecht who is the country’s leading forensic pathologist. This paper aims to discuss Dr. Wecht’s concerns about the death of John F. Kennedy and the opinion of other significant pathologists who actually disagreed with Dr. Wecht will also be summarized. Finally, I will present my personal critical analysis on the basis of Dr. Wecht’s arguments while concluding that either his statements were convincing or not.

Warren Commission’s Report concludes that the President had two major wounds. one in the head and other in the neck. Despite of critical observations it was difficult to measure the sequence of both wounds but it can be said that he died because of two intense gunshots which hit him from somewhere above and behind him (Warren Report, 1963).

One of the most important concerns raised by Dr. Wecht is that one bullet entered in the President’s back and the other struck him in the backside of head. He believes that Governor John Connally was struck by another bullet whereas one more bullet was shot which completely missed the car. Hence according to Dr. Wecht there were total four bullet shots while three bullets surely struck John F. Kennedy and Governor John Connally (Wecht, 1978). Apart from this, Dr. Wecht strongly disagrees with major conclusions made by the Warren Commission’s Report. He emphasized that the panel could have arrived at better conclusions if more time was spent in experiments. Though it must have consumed more money, time and energy but then it could have been easily proved that whether or not a copper-jacketed bullet measuring 6.5 millimeter can actually affect a radius and rib in a human being. In addition to this, the investigation team did not made enough efforts to find the most significant medical evidences. Comparative to the hunter and gatherer groups and tribes of this era, civilization was able to draw upon enough human resources within a given region to seek to specialize individuals with regards to their specific strengths within the economy. In such a way, rather than merely having the entire society devoted towards subsistence, as was oftentimes exhibited within the hunter gatherer cultures, individuals within a civilized society were able to focus upon such diverse techniques and cons such as tanning, wheel making, dating of bread, and a litany of other specialized talents and work skills. An additional benefit that society could offer is with regards to the diversity of trade and goods that could be exhibited. Whereas a small group of hunter gatherers it have very little impact on regional and international trade, a civilized society integrate with its neighbors and leverage a degree of trade activities that the smaller entity would be completely incapable of. Lastly, it must be understood this synergy and diversification that have been discussed allows for growth and development of art, music and literature to a degree that would’ve been impossible within a hunter and gatherer culture. Whereas hunter gatherers were incessantly preoccupied with issues concerning sustainment and meeting daily caloric needs, the civilized society was able to devote unnecessary labor towards developing the arts. Similarly, it must be understood that the decision to integrate with civilization on the part of the hunter gatherer was also one that was mixed with many negative aspects. The first and perhaps most important of these is with regards to the loss of culture and/or identity that the hunter gatherer would necessarily feel once integrated into a larger collective that was hardly reflective of their past life and interpretations of religion, societal norms, and a host of other factors. This of course ties directly into the loss of religious interpretation that an individual from a hunter gatherer society would necessarily space when choosing to integrate with civilization. From a political standpoint, the individual hunter gatherer would also feel a great loss of freedom as their personal behavior became constricted and beholden not to a warrior, shaman, or chief, but to a complex network of bureaucratic entities. Similarly, also from the local perspective, it must be understood that civilization represented a decreased level to which the individual can impact upon the direction and decisions that the group will take.

What we currently refer to as the Civil Rights Movement was in actual sense a struggle, or “a battleground between slavery and liberty”, for freedom and liberty by the African Americans, extending beyond the simple objectives of advocating for legal rights. Some of the actions involved in the fight for freedom ranged from mass action protests and boycotts to armed self-defense. Racial freedom was in the air, so was economic independence and security (Gresser 32). The African Americans were tired of enduring a physical, economical, and social setup enforced by the white supremacy in the country’s policies. The political and social policies of Jim Crow of segregating public facilities ensured that all social amenities were unequal and different, form restrooms to gravesites. Despite the Great Migration that brought around six million blacks into industrial center in the Northern and Southern urban, the African Americans were still contained to domestic and retail works, and even those who found their way to industries were locked out of unions. The Second World War was a helping hand for the economy of the US to recover from the Great Depression of the late 1920s. Africans Americans were on the margins of prosperity, as the federal defense had not desegregated the armed forces, jobs, and housing. The blacks were now in an unfamiliar position, between the European imperialism, American white supremacy, and the Nazi racism. This led to protest by the blacks and a threat by the president of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters (BSCP) Philip Randolph to lead a 100,000 people March on Washington Movement if industrial desegregation was not effected. President Franklin D. Roosevelt passed the Executive Order 8802 creating a Fair Employment Practices Commission (FEPC), which triggered the postponement of the march. Black organization, notably the National Negro Congress, the BSCP, and the MOWM joined labor unions and politicians to present economic issues to the statehouse demanding equal rights to social benefits of the New Deal (Gresser 59). At around the same time, President Roosevelt had delivered a speech proclaiming the four freedoms: worship, want, fear, and speech and expression. The African Americans were challenging the freedom from want citing that ghettos were present in Berlin, as well as Boston. The Cold War was a challenge to the US as communist enemies like the Soviet Union constantly challenged the self-proclaimed status of America as a “Leader of the Free world” yet had anti-black racism. Racism was one of the major causes of African American poverty, and the fight for freedom by the Civil Movement ensured that the dream by President Roosevelt to establish a freedom from want was achievable, at least to some degree. The American labor movements began in 1869 with the formation of the Order of the Knights of Labor led by Terence V. Powderly, a Pennsylvanian machinist. The purpose of the Knight Union was to negation power for all American workers through unions. Blacks joined the union later.
