selective service

The selection process for law enforcement officers includes an interview, situational tests, and psychological tests. As in most professions, officers also participate in annual continuing education programs. While there is a need for updated training for officers, researchers have also recognized the need to study police behaviors. Recently, researchers have created a mobile electroencephalogram (EEG) to monitor brain activity of officers when put into stressful situations. Read about the study here. Now locate a news article that discusses how police officers are trained to handle stressful situations. Given the information you found, how does your article interpret the research study? Your paper should be no more than two (2) pages and should include an APA citation for the article analyzed.

essay on international relations compare and contrast two articles

For this essay you need to write 1000 word essay comparing and contrasting two articles

·Length: 1,000 words (include a wordcount) MLA

Question: , “The End of Hubris: And the New Age of American Restraint,” and Joseph S. Nye, The rise and fall of American hegemony from Wilson to Trump,” give different descriptions of the current international system, different explanations for what is going on, and different predictions for the future. Contrast and compare both these readings — examine how they differ and why. The authors fundamentally disagree with each other, so figure out exactly where they disagree, and why. Use the concepts we have learned in this class to explore how these two articles compare. Most importantly, tell us which one you find more convincing, and why.

There is no single “right” answer, but your grade will depend on how well you make and support your argument. The key point is to dissect one reading carefully and truly understand the logic and argument

literature review 275

This is a survey that I’ve used initially to start my paper. The topic that I need you to work on is in Phishing Detection. I’ve done some research and chosen 30 articles to use. I’ve done the intro, background, annotated bib, and etc.

What I need from you is to do the literature review.

1) start by numbering each reference in the references page (similar to [1], [2], …, [30]) (I’ll share it with you)

2) Choose 4 or 5 categories and as much as possible subcategories (sub-subcategories are not acceptable). For example, the categories for phishing detection will be URL-based, visual-similarity based, etc, (up to 5) similar to the sent survey earlier.

3) Draw a tree (similar to the attached image) that shows your categories and subcategories. And link them with the chosen references by adding the reference number ([1]) inside the circle/square to summarize your work. The root of the tree should be the reference/references you’ve got your categories from (most likely will be the survey/surveys). It’s possible that some references are linked with multiple categories/subcategories.

4) Write the literature review based on the categories you’ve build your research based on. Follow the instructions on pages 10-12 in the attached requirements.

Review the included ISACA built risk case. You will need to complete the tasks identified in the later part of these slides labeled To Do. Re-evaluate the probability and risk level for all of the rows in table 2. When you make your decision on the new probability rating, you will need to justify this with one to two articles. When you identify the new risk level, you will need to identify two to three articles as examples or sources to justify the changes. Don’t just move it up or down, use current news and trends with similar companies to justify why you moved or even kept it the same. For each item, run a Quantitative or Qualitative risk analysis for a proposed mitigation. In other words, find a fix for each item and put a price tag with it. Decide what items are in budget and make your choice. You will add three new columns to table 2, one will be a proposed mitigation plan with budget and risk level from the FAIR methodology, and the second column will be if your risk decision (accept, mitigate, transfer, avoid). Submit the completed spreadsheet to the submission item in this week. You will also need to answer the 10 discussion questions at the end of the slides and submit those with your spreadsheet, either as a second page with answers in the cells or as separate document.
