You must compare opposing claims from credible sources, and provide a clear rationale, and support for the position you take. You will need conduct library research for this assignment, and include at least five (5) sources in your paper and in a bibliography (Works Cited – MLA)/(References – APA) at the end. As you begin conducting research for this assignment, be sure to assess the credibility of your sources based on the criteria laid out in class. As with your written outlines, you will have the opportunity to receive feedback on your paper before you create the final product. Please attend to the schedule for specific deadlines. Your work will be assessed based on quality of research, organization, language, grammar, and editing. Remember, like all quality speeches, effective papers have clear introductions, transitions, arguments with support, and conclusions. Be sure to revise your paper before submitting it.
