How Do I Find The Dot Product Of 1 I 2 3i And 2 I 3 2i

how do I find the dot product of (1 – i , 2+3i) and (2 + i, 3 – 2i) ?

I know there is something with conjugates of a2, and b2 (I bolded them) I get 1 + 10 i and the book says 6 +21i… this doesn’t match….
